Today we are interviewing a local Canberran living her ‘best life’ in Japan. She has travelled as a dancer around the world and is currently in Tokyo as a performer for Disney. Today we will talk to her about the wonderful world of Disney, and this fairytale story, that is her life.
This week we chat with the amazing Tabitha, a young, female teacher who has taken a leap of faith and completely stepped out of her comfort zone to teach in a rural, indigenous community in the Northern Territory. Tabitha talks all things eye opening, in this world that is right on our doorstep. She talks about navigating a long distance relationship, the rich experiences that you can't get anywhere else and and how she has endured this incredibly new time in her life, while the world has shut down due to Covid 19.

This episode, we catch up with the ever so modest, Leena Wall, the mastermind behind Canberra's first urban dance school, Fresh Funk. 20 years ago, Leena and her best friend brought Fresh Funk to life with the intentions of it being a six week program at the new local community centre. Fast forward to now and Fresh Funk is home to 300 enrolled dancers, holds a name in the national and international dance community and a place that encourages confidence, creativity and a sense of family. Through Fresh Funk, Leena plays the role of director, teacher, business queen, colleague, friend and mother. She's one of Canberra's underrated Boss Queens and absolutely love her!
