The Corinthians were highly critical of Paul. They criticized his age, writing style, speech, bodily appearance, even his apostleship. Paul responded by writing them two letters admonishing them to examine their own lives instead of criticizing others. In the first, he emphasizes performing a solemn self – examination before observing communion, 1 COR. 11:27-31. In the second, he emphasizes the need to scrutinize themselves to determine their spiritual status.
By examining OURSELVES we can locate ourselves spiritually, promote our own spiritual growth, align ourselves with God’s will, and avoid being critical of others. Receive an understanding of examining ourselves.
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, let’s consider Who exactly He is Who came and robed Himself in flesh. Instead of seeing Him as a babe only, wrapped in swaddling clothes: let’s remember Him as grace manifested, God’s glory and greatness. The life of Jesus is wonderful for two reasons. First, no life has ever affected the life of man on earth like His, and only His life offers eternal life to those who believe in Him.
To what length would God go to show His love for fallen man? As spoken in 2 Corinthians 9:15, He gave us the gift beyond words. Philippians 2:5-8 tells how He robed Himself in flesh in the person of His son in order to pay our sin debt and reconcile us to Himself. How do we imitate this kind of love? By laying down our lives for the one who laid down His life for us.

Have we taken the time to study 1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-8 (AMPC) so we can understand divine love? Is our motive to become the best Jesus impersonators we can possibly be, so Heaven can call us Jesus “Tribute Artists?”
It’s important to know our authority and to understand how to use our faith. It’s also important to hear what God wants us to do as Jesus and Paul did. Otherwise, we can find ourselves acting in the flesh like Abraham and Sarah, or the seven sons of Sceva! Receive an understanding of Flesh vs Spirit.
We all have glory in earthen vessels. It’s up to us as to what we do with it. Is our goal to become a vessel of honor and to live pleasing to God? Are there changes we need to make? We all must examine ourselves, locate ourselves, and strive to become vessels God can use.

We all have much to be thankful for. We all should take the time to consider all the contributions people have made in our lives and show our appreciation. No one has contributed more than our Creator and redeemer.
Our Heavenly Father is no different than any earthly father who wants his children to mature and become responsible individuals. He gave us the Five-Fold Ministry Gifts to help us along the way. Each of us is God’s temple or spiritual house. Each of us is responsible to keep the fire burning in our lives by making sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. God’s glory is His presence, power, peace, promises, provision and protection in manifestation. Each of us is to examine ourselves to be certain we are living a life that pleases God. Each of us is responsible to contribute to the success of the corporate temple by bringing his glory into it.
In John 16:7, Jesus said it was more important for the Spirit to come than for Him to stay. Receive an understanding of having Faith in the Spirit of God.
God is not the reason for the evil in this world. Evil exists because Lucifer acted apart from God’s will for his existence and Adam followed in his footsteps. Everyone begins life on the road to eternal separation and suffering. Receive an understanding of how our faith can change our destiny.
What we do daily impacts our future. God knows we are creatures of habit and this is why He instructs us to hear His Word day and night, not once a week. Receive an understanding of why and how developing the daily habit of meditating in the Word produces success.
Jesus must have taught Paul some things about living our lives to please God and being fruitful Christians. Every believer should have a strong desire to do both and become productive fruit-bearing branches in the vine. Receive an understanding of being fruitful in prayer.
Our God created the universe, the stars, planets and every living thing there is. He made man in His image and His heart was grieved when man rebelled. What gives Him pleasure today is not the universe, but seeing His salvation worked out in our lives. When man sinned, he fell short of God’s glory. In Christ, that glory is restored! Let’s please Him by allowing Him to have His way in and through us.
In John 14:21-24, Jesus is looking for love-based obedience. The key to obeying is loving. The key to loving is knowing. The key to knowing is reading God’s Word and the more we read His word, the better we get to know God. An abundant life begins with becoming a serious student of the Word. We please God by learning to live by faith, not feeling or reason; by living for eternity, not this life; by serving others. Are we pleasing Him? He will help us if we ask! Receive an understanding of living to please God.
If we truly desire the abundant life Jesus offers, we must understand the keys that open the door for us to experience it. Receive an understanding of the first three keys to abundant life–fruit bearing, abiding and obeying.
Sacrificing our praise and worship gives place to the Refiners fire that purges the unclean and gives place to God’s glory that accomplishes God’s will. Receive an understanding of how sacrificing our praise and worship produces fire and glory in this fifth series of The Glory of God.

There’s a difference between someone who says he believes and a disciple. It’s one thing to say we believe in Jesus, it’s another to say we are His disciples. A disciple receives Him as Savior and is committed to following Him, learning from His teachings and obeying His commandments.
Redemption is a finished work of grace that is accessed by faith. Grace makes every blessing available. Faith takes what is legally ours and makes it a vital reality. Receive an understanding of By Grace Through Faith.
The first thing Jesus did before starting His public ministry was to be baptized in water in order to fulfill what is right. The last thing Jesus talked about to His disciples was making disciples, Water Baptism and teaching believers to observe His teachings. Water Baptism is something important to God and should be to all who profess faith in Jesus Christ.
Jesus taught that because it’s impossible to go through life without being offended, our heart needs to be protected from becoming bitter and unforgiving. Jesus knew that unforgiveness gives place to demonic activity and divine judgment. So He taught His Disciples to offer unlimited forgiveness. Receive an understanding of Forgiven to Forgive.
LIFE IS BRIEF, DEATH IS CERTAIN, JUDGMENT IS SURE, ETERNITY IS LONG, AND PREPARATION IS NECESSARY. These are the great facts of life. It’s up to us as to what we will do with them. We can accept or ignore them. The choice is ours.
God is looking for faithful intercessors to stand between Him and people. Receive an understanding of the characteristics to be successful in intercession and the focus of regular intercession.
In Luke 4:18-19, Jesus preaches that His commission to the world is to; preach good news to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, set the captives free, recover the sight of the blind, and liberate the oppressed. Jesus has liberated us and His mission is now our mission. As priests for Almighty God, our first mission is to offer up praise to God–to let there be an up flow of praise to God so that there is an inflow of the Spirit in you, which produces an out flow to the world. Receive an understanding of the Year of the Lord.
Worship centers on who God is and what He’s done–He is the Creator of all things and we owe our existence to Him. Receive an understanding on what it means to Worship the Lord.
Jesus overcame the world for us and although there is tribulation in this world, in Him, there is perfect peace. And when we exercise and confess our faith in the finished work of Christ, we too overcome the world. Receive an understanding of our spoken words to the mountains in our lives.
The death of Christ put an end to the Old Covenant in which the Levitical Priesthood was responsible to offer sacrifices required by the Mosaic Law. Today, we as believers make up God’s holy priesthood by offering up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Receive an understanding of how ministering to the Lord involves Praise, Worship, and Communion.
The Lord declares in Numbers 14:28 as we speak in His ears, so shall He do to us. Our spoken words control our destiny. Paul tells us in1Corithians 10:11, what happened to the Israelites in the wilderness was given as an example for our benefit so that we avoid making the same mistakes they made. Receive an understanding of how to speak words that promote God’s will in our lives.
It’s our duty to discover how God wants us to worship Him and to humble ourselves to worship His way, not ours. Receive an understanding of the characteristics of true worship.
Just as God’s Word has power, ours has the power of life and death. We can speak words of life or death, blessing or cursing, and our words can control our destiny. In Mark 11:23, Jesus teaches us about the power of our words when we speak God’s words to our mountains. Our words unleash the miracle working powers of God.
Lucifer fell from Heaven because he wanted to be worshiped as God. God didn’t promote another angel, He created us to love Him, serve Him and worship Him in spirit and truth. Receive an understanding of man being created to Worship the Lord.
God made us in His own image and gave us authority over all the earth. Just as God’s Word has power, ours has the power of life and death. We can speak words of life or death, blessing or cursing, and our words can control our destiny. God is listening to our words. What are we saying that God is hearing?
Before we can successively stand in faith for healing, we must be fully convinced that healing and health are always the will of God. This truth is the basis for our faith. Faith for healing comes from hearing the Word. The Word must be exalted above what we feel or think. This is the true fight of faith.
We are in the last days and can be a part of the generation that ushers in Jesus’ return. Shouldn’t we be about the Lord’s business? Though many are predicting the date of His return, let’s focus on doing what Jesus commanded us to do until He comes.
To overcome Satan’s fiery darts and lies, we must stand ready with our minds tucked deeply into the truth. Our minds are not to be wasted on Satan’s lies. Receive an understanding for girding up our loins.
Experiencing more of God doesn’t happen because we want it to. If we want to experience something higher in God, we must do our part by lifting up certain areas of our lives to a higher level so God can do His part. Receive an understanding of what it takes to experience more of God.
Whatever the goal, there will be challenges along the way, and setbacks to overcome. We must take courage, stay steadfast and move forward in faith. Then, through the power of God, we will be victorious and achieve success.
There’s a difference between happiness and joy. Joy is internal and based on knowledge, whereas, happiness is external and based on circumstances. Joy is needed to promote strength, health, and glory. Receive an understanding of the biblical perspectives on joy, creating an environment of joy, and the need for joy in our lives.
Our freedoms are so valued that many brave men and women sacrificed their lives to provide them and protect them. But as wonderful as these freedoms are, there is another freedom that is far greater. Receive an understanding of how Jesus is the source of true freedom.
One of the purposes for signs and wonders is to get people to believe in God–to believe He exists, in His integrity, His faithfulness and awesome power. God expects us to use our faith to activate His Glory. Receive an understanding of the greater manifestation of God’s Glory when we invest time seeking the Lord in the Word, in prayer, and in praise & worship.
