November 16 2025 Sunday Your Words Matter / Week 41 / T. Stacy Hayes #findoutwhoyouare My Vision My vision is to teach the world Who They Are In Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior! To Teach them what the Bible says about them and who they have been made to be in the promises of God's Word. This changed my life years ago and completely transformed me from a person full of doubt, fear and unbelief to a strong confident Christian that knows I can do anything through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. And I'm determined to teach the world what God has taught and commissioned me to teach and that is His Word. That commission takes me to jails and detention centers weekly along with other open doors at many churches and ministries that are wanting to teach these important truths to the world. My podcast goes out 6 days a week to help the people I am ministering to grow in the truths that God has taught me for many years now. This podcast is free to all that want to listen and grow strong in who God has made them to be in Christ Jesus their Lord and Savior. Send us a textThis week we are talking about overcoming, through the power of doing the Lord's fast and praying. We will discuss the benefits of fasting. The Lord's Fast - Isaiah 58 verse 5 - (Amplified Classic Version) - 5 Is such a fast as yours what I have chosen, a day for a man to humble himself with sorrow in his soul? [Is true fasting merely mechanical?] Is it only to bow down his head like a bulrush and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him [to indicate a condition of heart that he does not have]? Will you call this a fast and an acceptable day to the Lord?6 [Rather] is not this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every [enslaving] yoke?7 Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house—when you see the naked, that you cover him, and that you hide not yourself from [the needs of] your own flesh and blood?8 Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I am. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression [wherever you find them], the finger pointed in scorn [toward the oppressed or the godly], and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking,10 And if you pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday.11 And the Lord shall guide you continually and satisfy you in drought and in dry places and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water whose waters fail not.12 And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of [buildings that have laid waste for] many generations; and you shall be called Repairer of the Breach, Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Proverbs 4:20, Daniel 10:3, Isaiah 58:3-12, Matthew 11:28-30, Matthew 6:16-18, Jonah 3:5-6, Jonah 3:8, Matthew 4:1-11, Acts 14:23, Nehemiah 1:3-4, Matthew 17:21, Joel 2:12-13, Ezra 8:23, Acts 13:2, Psalm 69:10, Psalm 69:13, Exodus 34:28, Psalm 63:6–7.Support the show

OCT. 24, 2025How to pray for your children."Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord...Jesus Christ." 2Pe 3:18 NKJVThe Bible says, "In the last days will come... times of great stress and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear]" (2Ti 3:1 AMPC). We don't have to look far to see that Scripture fulfilled. It's why we need to pray for the physical and spiritual safety of our children; that they may "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord...Jesus Christ." Heather Riggleman writes: "As you and I watch the news, we weep, we cry out in anger, and then we wonder, 'How can we protect our kids...?' We wonder if it's safe to send [them] out the front door. We question whether the world is falling apart. And nothing is more terrifying than the realization that we cannot protect them from life. While we cannot hide our children away from the world, we can...shield them in far greater ways than wrapping them in a plastic bubble or locking them in their rooms for the rest of their lives...We can intercede for [them], praying for wisdom, protection, peace, and strength." Remember, wherever we are gathered and praying, Jesus is in our midst (See Mt 18:19-20). Paul said, "Put on every piece of God's armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil...Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers" (Eph 6:13, 18 NLT). When you pray like that, God is bound to honor His Word. Keep covering your kids in prayer—and don't give up no matter how bad things in the world get.How to pray for your children Keep covering your kids in prayer.Share This DevotionalSend us a textSupport the showChanging Lives | Building Strong Family | Impacting Our Community For Jesus Christ!

ост. 3, 2025Peace that defies human logic."The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and...minds in Christ Jesus." Php 4:7 NIVNo matter what problems you're grappling with, it's good to know that the peace of God "which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and...minds in Christ Jesus." Author Lorie Newman said: "For me, that peace came when my husband lost his job...We were a one-income family with seven children, a mortgage, [and] bills. Would we lose our house? How could we feed our large family? These questions fogged my mind like suffocating smoke. But, in the midst of it, God tenderly spoke life into my worried heart.Unemployment remained. In fact, it remained for nearly two years. But day-by-day, step-by-step, the truth of God's Word began to eclipse the despair and I had incredible peace! God's Word came alive as never before as I navigated the turbulent waters of that rough season of life. I had read that God was my provider, but I began to know and experience him as my provider! What should have been a time of horrific stress...became a place of peace." When problems arise, our natural inclination is to panic. When we do that, we open the door for the Enemy to come in, get us off track, and make us feel victimized. Take these words of Jesus to heart: "My [own] peace I now give...you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed...do not permit yourselves to be fearful and...unsettled.]" (Jn 14:27 AMPC).Peace that defies human logic "Do not let your hearts be troubled."Share This DevotionalSend us a textSupport the showChanging Lives | Building Strong Family | Impacting Our Community For Jesus Christ!

Isaiah 53:5 Healing… Matthew 18:19 Agree with God's Word… Mark 10:29-30 100 Fold Return… Acts 10:34 God is no respecter of persons “who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:” Colossians 1:13 KJV “For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son,” Colossians 1:13 NLT “[The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,” Colossians 1:13 AMPC “even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:” Colossians 1:26-27 KJV “This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God's people. For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.” Colossians 1:26-27 NLT “The mystery of which was hidden for ages and generations [from angels and men], but is now revealed to His holy people (the saints), To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory.” Colossians 1:26-27 AMPC “who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:14 KJV “He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.” Titus 2:14 NLT “Who gave Himself on our behalf that He might redeem us (purchase our freedom) from all iniquity and purify for Himself a people [to be peculiarly His own, people who are] eager and enthusiastic about [living a life that is good and filled with] beneficial deeds. [Deut. 14:2; Ps. 130:8; Ezek. 37:23.]” Titus 2:14 AMPC “that being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” Titus 3:7 KJV “Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.” Titus 3:7 NLT “[And He did it in order] that we might be justified by His grace (by His favor, wholly undeserved), [that we might be acknowledged and counted as conformed to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action], and that we might become heirs of eternal life according to [our] hope.” Titus 3:7 AMPC “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,” Hebrews 2:9-11 KJV “What we do see is Jesus, who for a little while was given a position “a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now “crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God's grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone. God, for whom and through whom everything was made, chose to bring many children into glory. And it was only right that he should make Jesus, through his suffering, a perfect leader, fit to bring them into their salvation. So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.” Hebrews 2:9-11 NLT “But we are able to see Jesus, Who was ranked lower than the angels for a little while, crowned with glory and honor because of His having suffered death, in order that by the grace (unmerited favor) of God [to us sinners] He might experience death for every individual person. For it was an act worthy [of God] and fitting [to the divine nature] that He, for Whose sake and by Whom all things have their existence, in bringing many sons into glory, should make the Pioneer of their salvation perfect [should bring to maturity the human experience necessary to be perfectly equipped for His office as High Priest] through suffering. Send us a textThis week we are speaking about the types of entitlement that could be in a person's life. What happens when we are still behaving entitled as adults? When things in life do not go our way, are we taking things into our own hands and committing sin so we get what we want? How did the Lord deal with those who were entitled in the wilderness? Is someone you know only around because they feel entitled to get things from you and do not actually like you? This program covers the following Scriptures from the Amplified Classic version (AMPC): 2 Timothy 3:1-4, Proverbs 22:6, 1 Timothy 6:9-10, Romans 5:8, Ephesians 5:5, Romans 5:9, 1 Timothy 6:6-8, 1 Corinthians 10:5-6, 1 Corinthians 10:8-14, Mark 7:22-23, Proverbs 30:8-9.Support the show

September 14 2025 Sunday Your Words Matter / Week 32 / T. Stacy Hayes #findoutwhoyouare My Vision My vision is to teach the world Who They Are In Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior! AUG. 20, 2025God's answer to anxiety (3)"All the days of the desponding...are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings]." Pr 15:15 AMPCOne Christian author writes: "I once went through a period...when I was plagued by anxiety. I was filled with fear and dread for no particular reason. I kept feeling something terrible was going to happen. Finally I went to the Lord and asked Him what was troubling me. He told me it was 'evil forebodings! At the time I didn't even know what that phrase meant or where it came from. Sometime later I came across Proverbs 15:15: 'All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances]' (AMPC)...l was like so many other people. I was looking for some 'monster problem' that was keeping me from enjoying life. I was so intense about everything; I was creating problems for myself where none really existed. Once in a meeting, the Lord told me to speak out something. Apparently, someone needed to hear this: 'Stop making a big deal out of nothing.' I used to be the type of person who needed to hear directions like that. I could make mountains out of molehills. I had to learn to just let some things go-forget them and go on. Some of us become upset over things that are just not worth becoming upset over-those 'little foxes, that spoil the vines' (SS 2:15). If our lives consist of becoming upset over one little thing after another...we won't have much peace or joy." So, the word for you today is-cultivate a happy heart and start enjoying the life God has given you!God's answer to anxiety Let some things go.Share This DevotionalSend us a textSupport the showChanging Lives | Building Strong Family | Impacting Our Community For Jesus Christ!
AUG. 18, 2025God's answer to anxiety (1)"Do not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance... by prayer...make your wants known to God." Php 4:6 AMPCAnxiety is the curse of the modern era, but it's not a new trend. Throughout Scripture, Jesus talked a lot about anxiety, stress, and fear. In fact, He mentioned them repeatedly in His teachings. In Matthew 6:25-27, He said, "Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or...what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" (NIV). Now, Jesus didn't say these words just to relieve our fears and worries. What He was doing was commanding us not to be anxious because it demonstrates a lack of faith in God's faithfulness to us. Paul writes: "Do not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition...with thanksgiving...make your wants known to God. And God's peace...which transcends all understanding shall garrison...your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus" (Php 4:6-7 AMPC). Instead of letting fear and anxiety control you, you can have peace by bringing your worries to God in prayer, thanking Him by faith for the answer, and trusting Him to work things out as only He can. So, what are you going to do? Worry and fret, or pray and have peace? The choice is yours.God's answer to anxiety "God's peace transcends all understanding."Share This DevotionalSend us a textSupport the showChanging Lives | Building Strong Family | Impacting Our Community For Jesus Christ!

August 10 2025 Sunday Your Words Matter / Week 27 / T. At our Premium Worship and Prayers service, our Senior Pastor, Pastor Femi Paul, taught on the powerful subject “DIPSYCHOS”, the Greek word for Double Mindedness. Drawing from James 4:8 and James 1:7-8 (NKJV), he highlighted how a double minded person - undecided, wavering, or torn between loyalties - becomes unstable and unable to receive from the Lord. This message unpacks the dangers of inner conflict: struggling between faith and doubt, or trying to serve both God and self. Double mindedness leads to spiritual inconsistency, instability, and a lack of breakthrough. Through Psalm 119:113 in various translations (AMPC, TLB, CEB), PFP emphasised God's clear dislike for fickleness in devotion and called the church to a place of clarity, focus, and faithfulness in our walk with God. The message was a soul searching invitation to align our hearts with God's word and will. We then entered into a powerful time of worship, offering up worship before God's throne, with a singular purpose to lift Him above everything else.
At today's Hymnal & Pure Worship Service, Pastor Yomi Badejo-Okusanya shared a powerful word titled “Fresh Strength.” He reminded us that human strength fails, and urged us never to place our trust in man's ability. Instead, we must recognise God as our true powerhouse, accessible through prayer and worship. Never trade your spiritual source for anything. The anchor scripture, Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV & AMPC), declares that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. Pastor Yomi walked us through Isaiah 40:27–31 (MSG) and Luke 22:41–43, where even Jesus, in agony, received strength from heaven. We were reminded from Philippians 4:13 and 2 Corinthians 12:9–10 that God's strength is perfected in our weakness. As David declared in Psalm 73:26, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart.” We were encouraged to “give strength to gain strength”—by encouraging others, staying in faith, and continuing to pray. Pastor also touched on 1 Samuel 2:9 and Job 22:27–28, emphasising that our faith must rise even when weary. As the man cried in Mark 9:24, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” He then led the church in prophetic declarations: Nehemiah 8:10 – The joy of the Lord is our strength. 2 Corinthians 13:4 – Though Christ was crucified in weakness, He lives by God's power. Psalm 18:29–32 – The Lord arms us with strength and makes our way perfect. Psalm 103:5 – He satisfies us with good things and renews our youth. Deuteronomy 33:25 – As your days, so shall your strength be. Job 42:10 & 12 – God will restore all we've lost, twice as much and make our latter days better. Joel 2:25–26 – We shall eat in plenty, be satisfied, and never be put to shame! It was a stirring reminder that God's strength is real, fresh, and always available to those who wait on Him!
At our Midweek Interactive Service, Pastor Colins Nwosu led a deeply engaging and insightful discussion titled “Male & Female.” Drawing from Genesis 1:26–28, he emphasised that both man and woman were created in God's image and blessed with purpose and dominion. The conversation explored God's original intent for the roles of male and female, highlighting how each was uniquely designed to complement the other. Referencing Genesis 2:15 and 2:18, Pastor Colins explained that man was placed in the garden to work, tend, guard, and keep the earth, while woman was created as a suitable, adaptable and complementary helper. He also drew on Ephesians 5:22–25 to show the beauty of mutual submission, love, and respect in relationships. He challenged both men and women to understand and embrace their God-given roles with wisdom, purpose, and grace. Scripture References: Genesis 1:26–28 (NKJV), Genesis 2:15 (NIV, AMPC), Genesis 2:18 (AMPC), Ephesians 5:22–25 (NKJV)

Need financial help? In this short 30 - second prayer, I guide you through one of the most powerful Bible verses about financial provision—2 Corinthians 9:8 AMPC. This prayer is for anyone who feels stuck financially, overwhelmed by bills, or unsure of how God is going to come through. I've prayed this exact verse over my life—and I've seen God provide in powerful, supernatural ways.

"Not that I am implying that I was in any personal want, for I have learned how to be content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am. I know how to be abased and live humbly in straitened circumstances, and I know also how to enjoy plenty and live in abundance. I have learned in any and all circumstances the secret of facing every situation, whether well-fed or going hungry, having a sufficiency and enough to spare or going without and being in want. I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am [self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]." - Philippians 4:11-13 AMPC Restore Church | Yorkville, ILEaster Sunday | 9 AM & 11 AMJordan & Melissa Gash, Pastorshttp://www.restorechurchyorkville.com
