We nerd out on coffee and give some insight on how we ended up with a $15,000 coffee roaster.
Jake Inger doodled on Strava Routes and came up with a 300 mile ride in the greater White Mountains that linked up all the major passes totaling 25,000 feet of gain.
Nik Stanciu is the co-founder of the Tuckerman Brewery, one of the oldest craft beer companies in New Hampshire. It took a few weeks to get Nik to sit down for this conversation, understandably so but it was great to hear his story and the work that goes into running the Brewery. If you haven't stopped in to their tasting room, it's well worth it to get a flight of beers and look around the tasting room which Nik has spent many hours building by hand. Nik and Tuckerman Brewery are huge supporters of the MWV community. Thanks Nik!
Monte McIndoe has been an integral part of STW and our recent growth. He has done everything from helping out in the shop fitting customers to race directing to providing much needed guidance during the madness of the winter months. As I mention in the podcast, he came from the clouds and everyday I'm thankful that he has latched on to this small business.

Freddie Wilkinson is an accomplished climber, mountaineer, author, and photographer among many other business rolls. He also lives up the street and when to college with my brother. I had the opportunity to catch up with Freddie and talk about mountaineering and the crossover with skiing. He's always got a lot cooking so check out his instagram for current projects.
Amber is a ball of energy and someone who will get you fired up and get moving. Honestly, if anyone is looking for a coach, reach out to her. She's a pro triathlete, DPT, and much more. Her partner Ryan Kelly also joined us to chime in and help fix my poorly placed mic.
Willis and I toured a few times last winter and he is all about PVO - positive vibes only. Willis is a great person and has the skiing ability to match. He's taking on the Freeride Wold Tour this winter so I'm excited to follow his journey as he navigates competitions, travel, and hopefully many more tours on the east coast.
We're excited to have Ben Leoni on to catch up on what he's been up to out west, his history with backcountry skiing, his love for Allen's Coffee Brandy, and so much more.
Tyler Ray, founder of Granite Backcountry Alliance (GBA) and longtime backcountry skier here in the White Mountains.
