Stále teda zabíjame vzťahy a potrebujeme zmenu myslenia, teda pokánie. Zabíjame najmä preto, že máme strach. Kvôli tomu Pán Ježiš začína slovami: „Nech sa vám srdce nestrachuje! Verte v Boha a verte vo Mňa!“ (v. 1). Iným dôvodom je, že chceme pre seba viac. Ale čo je viac, ako nebo? Čo je viac, ako večné príbytky uprostred Božej lásky? A tie nám Pán pripravuje. Stačí Mu veriť. Teraz sa možno opýtate: „Dobre, chcem žiť správne a nezabíjať. Ale kde nájdem cestu k láske, ktorá vydrží aj nadávky a nevybuchne?“ Tou cestou je Pán Ježiš. K Otcovi, ktorý je Láska, nás privedie jedine On. Vložme sa Mu do rúk, nech nás môže premieňať zvnútra a viesť! Nech prichádzajúci rok nie je obdobím vojen, ale spásy pre večný život!
