Episode Highlights: Introducing Jennifer Lind, Regional President at Coldwell Banker Jennifer's Impressive Career Journey: Agent, Manager, Owner, Executive The Current Market: Why It's a "Level Up Moment" The Trifecta for Success: Mindset, Skillset, and Action Cultivating a Winning Mindset: Intention, Consumption, and Association Leadership Insights: Leading Through Change vs. Managing Change The Power of Clarity: Knowing Who You Are For (and Who You're Not) Strategies for Building Agent Engagement and Office Culture Industry Evolution: What's Changed and What Remains Constant Since 2003 The Future of Real Estate: Predictions for the Next Five Years Jennifer's Career Growth: Leaning In, Making an Impact, and Staying Connected The Connection Between Momentum and Morale Key Takeaways: "I don't think there's anything we can do in this business that creates any success without mindset." "...managing your mindset is pretty tough... what you consume and who you're around and where you spend your time and where you spend your energy... those all really feed into that." "...this is a level up moment. There's an opportunity." "...whoever is successful right now, it is because they have found a way to get much, much better at the job that they were already good at." "Leading through change is very different than managing the change that's coming to you." "...nobody likes change, but everybody loves innovation." "...if you don't have a good strategy on what change you're going to navigate moving forward, someone will come up with something for you that you may not love." "I personally don't care how many names are on our roster. I want to know that we have the best names on our roster." "There's a lot of strength and a lot of power in clarity." "Agents don't come into the office to do their work. They come in for something much more meaningful... engagement and that connection, that collaboration..." "...wanting to connect and delight and create an emotional connection with your clients... that hasn't changed." "It's about being in the people's lives... when you're in a market like we are, where it's life events..." "...moving forward, this isn't just like a hobby industry. I think there's too much on the line for it to be that moving forward." "[The industry] will get more refined and more sophisticated, which again, I think is great." "...helping [clients] leverage [options]... great news is we're in a market where people have equity and they've got options." "Momentum and morale are very closely connected. You cannot have one without the other..."   Links: Website: http://www.NinjaSelling.com/Podcast  Email: TSW@NinjaSelling.com  Phone: 1-800-254-1650  Podcast Facebook Group: http://www.facebook.com/TheNinjaSellingPodcast  Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/NinjaSelling  Instagram: @NinjaSellingOfficial  LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/ninjaselling  Upcoming Public Ninja Installations: https://NinjaSelling.com/events/list/?tribe_eventcategory%5B0%5D=183&tribe__ecp_custom_2%5B0%5D=Public  Ninja Coaching: http://www.NinjaSelling.com/course/ninja-coaching/

We're diving into the real reason you're not hitting that next level, and spoiler alert, it's not your marketing plan or your CRM. In this episode, Steve and Joe sit down with nationally renowned coach and speaker Steve Scanlon, founder of Rewire, to explore the real driver behind success in today's market. Forget the usual "just make the calls" advice. Scanlon breaks down why how you think determines what you do, and whether those changes actually stick. From emotional intelligence to the science of how your brain works, he shares practical insight on why top performers in sales, sports, and leadership focus on mindset first and skillset second. You'll hear why learning to deal with discomfort is the key to real growth, and how your thought patterns might be holding you back without you even realizing it. He also digs into the danger of a scarcity mindset and the power of being present and self-aware in high-stress environments. This episode isn't about hype. It's about clarity, strategy, and the kind of self-leadership that can change your business and your life. If you're serious about leveling up, this conversation is your next move. Listen in for a real, relatable, and energizing discussion on what it takes to rewire your results.   Key Takeaways Mindset, not skillset, is the key driver of long-term success in real estate and business.   Real change requires shifting the way you think before changing what you do.   Sustainable growth comes from understanding how the brain works, including neuroplasticity.   Embracing discomfort is essential for reaching new goals and breaking old patterns.   Scanlon emphasizes the importance of practicing presence in high-pressure situations.   Coaching focused on behavior alone often fails without addressing mindset first.   Scarcity mindset limits growth, while abundance thinking creates new possibilities.   Rewire uses neuroscience and emotional intelligence to help clients create real change.   The brain resists change by default, requiring effort and repetition to rewire habits.   Realtors often waste energy worrying about things they can't control.   Identifying what you can control, influence, or not control is key to managing energy.   Success often involves some level of suffering, especially when developing new habits.   Short-term motivation fades without a deeper mindset shift to support new behaviors.   Rewire's coaching approach is individualized and holistic, focusing on personal clarity.   Connect with Joe Soldera Properties Joe on LinkedIn   Connect with Steve Steve's Team at Premiere Property Group Steve on LinkedIn   Connect with Steve Scanlon Rewire Steve Scanlon on LinkedIn Still the Lizard: Transformation Is Closer Than You Think Reality and Hope: Reflections From a Coach's Chair The Insight Interviews info@rewireinc.com   Listen to The Portland Real Estate Podcast on: Apple Podcasts | Spotify

Brandneue, kostenlose Masterclass: NOT ANOTHER BOSS BITCH! Weil ICH selbst NOT ANOTHER BOSS BITCH bin. The Complex Dance of Modern Relationships: Unraveling Insights from an Engaging Podcast DialogIn an era where connection is just a swipe away, navigating the labyrinth of modern relationships is as fascinating as it is challenging. Our podcast hosts, Mike and Torya, delve into this intricate world with their guest, Loaz, an acclaimed relationship strategist. Through an engaging conversation, they dissect themes of online scams, confidence, and the intricacies of building meaningful relationships. Here's what we unravel from their lively dialog.Key Takeaways:Beware of Sob Stories: Online scams often prey on emotional vulnerability—steering clear of sob stories can shield you from deceit.Confidence as a Cornerstone: A robust self-image shapes our relationships and sets the foundation for interactions.Mindset Over Strategy: Prioritizing mindset over mere tactics is pivotal in relationship dynamics.Navigating the Online Relationship MinefieldThe Rise of Online Romance ScamsIn the digital age, online romance scams have become a pervasive issue. The conversation reveals that these scams frequently operate through sob stories, designed to manipulate emotions for financial gain. Loaz warns listeners, "Just don't fall for the sob stories. That's a big thing, man." Many scammers spin tales of hardship, hoping to exploit the kindness of unsuspecting individuals. The troubling reality, as shared by Mike, is that social media platforms have the technology to intervene yet often fail to protect users: "They can read your conversations word for word... why can't they read and flag these scammers?"This theme underlines a pressing concern—platform responsibility. The broader implication is clear: while platforms develop sophisticated algorithms to enhance user experience, there's a dire need for those algorithms to prioritize user safety through improved scam detection and intervention efforts.Building the Bedrock: Confidence and Self-ImageWhy Confidence Matters in RelationshipsConfidence emerges as a central theme during the podcast discussion. In relationships, our self-perception significantly influences what we tolerate and how we engage with others. Loaz mentions, "How we see ourselves is much more important than how people see us." This sentiment goes beyond interpersonal relationships and into professional realms, where self-esteem can govern negotiation skills and decision-making prowess. The conversation pivots on the interrelation between confidence and relationship success. By prioritizing self-improvement and self-awareness, individuals can cultivate more authentic and resilient connections. The emphasis on personal growth highlights a broader social trend, emphasizing mental health and self-worth as vital components in today's fast-paced world. The Trifecta: Mindset, Skillset, and HabitsThe Road to Relationship SuccessA compelling insight from the dialog is Loaz's emphasis on a holistic approach to relationships, focusing on mindset, skillset, and habits. "If you get three of those right, you're unstoppable," he asserts. By first cultivating a positive mindset, individuals pave the way to acquiring essential relationship skills and establishing healthy habits. This trifecta doesn't just apply to personal relationships; it extends to career growth and personal development. This theme's broader implications suggest a shift in societal expectations—from succeeding through strategies alone to thriving through an evolved, holistic self-understanding. The hosts' reflection on this idea, combined with Mike's anecdotal experience with learning guitar, encapsulates the essence of persevering through challenges by fostering an appropriate mindset.Reflection on Themes and Broader ImplicationsThe transcript of this podcast reveals complex layers within modern relationship dynamics, urging listeners to be vigilant of deception, build unwavering self-esteem, and approach growth through a balanced framework. The conversation's authenticity is rooted in relatable experiences and practical advice, encouraging individuals to strive for a genuine connection in both the social and digital spheres. The discussion thoughtfully traverses the intersection of societal norms, technology, and personal introspection. It encourages listeners to view relationships not as transactional encounters but as opportunities for holistic development. In this era where genuine human connection contends amid digital noise, the insights offer a pathway to not only safeguarding oneself but enhancing the quality of life engagements on every level.Ultimately, the conversation reminds us that at the heart of every query and every interaction lies the fundamental need to understand ourselves as much as we seek to understand others.TimestampSummary0:00A Chicken's Guide to Self-Publishing Success2:30Avoiding Online Romance Scams and Sob Stories7:26Social Media's Responsibility in Preventing Scams9:10Avoid Giving Money to Strangers Online10:23The Pitfalls of Online Relationships and Financial Scams14:10The Importance of Mindset, Skillset, and Habits for Success17:26Exploring Loaz's Work and Where to Find His Books

Who wants to change their life? Who want to transform their relationships and increase their influence? If that's you, then Stanford based psychologist Caroline Fleck might be your therapist. In her new book, VALIDATION, Fleck lays out a skill set that, she promises, not only revolutionized psychology but can revolutionize all of us. Skeptical? Yes, I was before talking with Dr Fleck. But she actually offer some very practical advice on how we can all improve our relationships and build our self-confidence. Here are the 5 KEEN ON take-aways from our conversation with Caroline Fleck:* Validation vs. Praise: Validation is about showing acceptance and understanding ("you're there, you get it, you care"), not about praise or agreement. Many people confuse these concepts.* Universal Human Need: Everyone seeks acceptance regardless of demographics, gender, or background. The absence of feeling validated contributes to suffering.* Balancing Acceptance and Change: Effective communication, especially in therapy, requires both validation (acceptance) and problem-solving (change). Validation creates the conditions for people to be receptive to change.* Applications Beyond Therapy: Validation skills can transform relationships, reduce conflict, and bridge divides in families, couples, and broader society. These are learnable skills that don't require a psychology degree.* Concerns About AI in Therapy: While AI can effectively mimic validation techniques, Fleck worries about the one-directional nature of AI relationships and their inability to foster genuine connection and reciprocal skill development.Dr. Caroline Fleck is a licensed psychologist, corporate consultant, and an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Stanford University. She is a respected voice in psychology and has been featured in national media outlets, including The New York Times, Good Morning America, and The Huffington Post. Her upcoming book with Penguin Random House is the first ever to make the validation skills therapists use to get through to anyone available to everyone. In her private practice, Caroline specializes in evidence-based treatments for adults, adolescents, and couples, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Her corporate work focuses on creating high-performing individuals and teams using the proven methods of behavioral science. Caroline graduated from the University of Michigan (BA) and Duke University (MA, PhD). This is a public episode. Connie's motivational quote for today is by – Oprah Winfrey, “Doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment." I network a lot and meet a ton of new people each week.  I feel like no matter the networking platform, there seems to be more and more conversations around mindset, skillset, and get off your asset.  I love the idea of using these three frames of reference.    First, I have done a bunch of internal work on myself, building a healthy mindset and yes it takes effort but so worth it.  Second, the skill set, I consider myself a lifelong learner, because I feel like if I don't keep learning and growing myself and my skills, I will start to shrivel up and die…lol!  That was very dramatic!  The last one, “get off your asset,” is my favorite.  All the inner work, learning, and change we create in our life is nothing if we can't put it into practice and use these changes to form the life we desire.  Applying all three is how we can literally create magic in our lives by creating actual, tangible results through that application!   YouTube: https://youtu.be/Q1QootlXC_Y   About Sallie Wagner: Sallie is a speaker, author, lawyer, real estate broker and instructor, and life coach.    Your What's Next Strategist and Life Alchemist, Sallie incorporates outcome-based techniques such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming), and trauma-aware modalities, to help you get concrete results, as you ditch those unwanted behaviors and habits, fears, and phobias, limiting beliefs and decisions, that keep you from living your best life.    Sallie's signature coaching program is REBOOT Your Thinking:  How to Install and Uninstall Mind Apps.     How to Get in Touch With Sallie Wagner: Email:   swagner@salliewagnerenterprises.com Website:  Salliewagner.com 30-Day Free Trial to Sallie's Local's Community:  https://salliewagnercoaching.locals.com   Stalk me online!
