This afternoon we recorded an extra special Sports Podcast on SWIS ROC Radio. What started out as an ordinary sports podcast, quickly descended in to an all out St.Patrick's Day show! Pat Mustard (a famous Irish Character in the hit show Fr.Ted who actually died yesterday...RIP Pat) was played by our AD Josh Youngman. We had Winnie from the MYP playing the role of Mrs Doyle (another character in this show ). They both were on the show to speak about the sports department at SWIS and their excellent recent achievements. Alongside, Pat and Mrs Doyle, was Emmet O' Halloran from Tulla in East Clare. Emmet is the Product Design Teacher at SWIS and is a highly accomplished accordion player (allegedly). He played a number of tunes on the accordion during the show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIVaKug70_M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvDx2BY9R7s https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgpoLeXy61xGYDRQ5IGoHhQ We brought our own unique brand of Irish Humor to todays show. We hope you enjoy it. This morning/afternoon we raised 3300RMB for the Cambodia Orphanage at SWIS Shenzhen (www.swis.cn) in only 25 minutes through the sales of Irish Flags & Ribbons as well as face painting. To all the Irish at home and abroad we wish you an enjoyable St.Patrick's Weekend. Stay safe, have fun and do us proud as always Ted! Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhaoibh!
