    The Big Brown couch is a podcast focused primarily on the mental health concerns of African-Americans. Hosted by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Eric M. Burns, The Big Brown Couch seeks to add to the conversation regarding mental health struggles and challenges. Eric describes himself as a "wounded healer" and, has discovered his calling to becoming a therapist through his own personal therapy. Eric's experience includes working with adolescents, adults, families and couples. His experience also includes working with individuals struggling with chemical dependence and substance abuse issues.  Eric hopes this podcast is beneficial, enlightening and helpful to the listeners.
