The Big Number this week looks at the spectacular season being had by Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks. Could the Greek Freak finish 3rd in the MVP race, despite how disappointing the team has been? Tom Haberstroh and Dan Devine reveal that Giannis is putting up numbers that we've never seen before, but no one is talking about it. That probably has something to do with the Bucks being WINLESS against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder this season. Tuesday night's loss to Golden State was bad enough that Doc Rivers called a meeting with Giannis and Damian Lillard to try and pull the Bucks out of a "dire" situation.(3:30) - Does Giannis deserve more MVP buzz?(13:25) - Celtics' lead over Bucks helps Tatum's case(17:55) - Is the Cavs' talented roster hurting Donovan Mitchell's case?(24:50) - Too little too late for Anthony Edwards?(28:15) - Jalen Brunson is elevating the Knicks(32:15) - Over/under scoreboard update(33:05) - Are the Bucks a one & done playoff team?Want to compete against Tom, Dan and the entire Yahoo Sports team in this year's NCAA tournaments? In Hour 1… (4:32) Tuesday night gave us the first taste of official March Madness action, with the first two “First Four” games taking place, first between St. Francis and Alabama State, where ASU was able to pull off the last second victory 70-68. The guys hit on this matchup, as well as Senior's usual disdain for the play in games. They also discussed the second matchup of the night between highly-disputed participant North Carolina and San Diego State. (12:45) The guys then shifted from the College Courts to the Professionals, recapping last night's matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors. No Curry? No Problem for Golden State, as Jimmy Butler was able to provide the dubs with a 24-8-10 stat line, only furthering the narrative about how much the Warriors have improved with him on the roster. Mike and Mike discuss what the Warriors could look like come playoff time, and if Butler has turned them into legitimate contenders for the 2025 title. (23:26) The Aaron Rodgers saga is still ongoing, with many reports linking him to the Minnesota Vikings surfacing this week. However, that news was put to rest during the first hour of Wednesday's show after NFL Network's Tom Pelissero revealed the Vikings have been rejecting multiple trade calls on QB J.J. McCarthy, signaling they're content with him starting under center next season. The guys discussed the latest chapter in the Rodgers saga, and weighed his two biggest options between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants. (38:50) Speaking of the Steelers, noted Steelers super fan Jessica Smetana stopped by to catch up with Junior and Senior. They first discussed how she feels about the prospect of Aaron Rodgers coming to Pittsburgh, and then shifted into other conversations such as Cameron Brink's latest comments, as well as Lando Norris taking home the first race of the F1 season. (53:08) Mike Golic Jr. gives a recap of the second game in Tokyo between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers, highlighted by homecoming hero Shohei Ohtani blasting a HR to right field and taking down Chicago 6-3 Click here to subscribe, rate, and review the newest episodes of GoJo and Golic! Draymond Green LOCKED UP Giannis Antetokounmpo & Sent A Message To The NBA according to the Gil's Arena Crew as they react to Draymond Green carrying the Steph Curry-less Golden State Warriors to a win over Giannis Antetokounmpo & The Milwaukee Bucks and declaring on national television that he is the best defensive player in the NBA and deserves to be the Defensive Player of the Year. They also break down how playing through Jimmy Butler opened up the offense for the Warriors and react to Steph Curry reaching the seemingly unbreakable mark of 4,000 3 pointers. Next, they break down a vintage performance from Kawhi Leonard to push the Los Angeles Clippers over the NBA leading Cleveland Cavaliers and debate the ceiling for this Clippers squad if Kawhi and James Harden can maintain this level of production through the NBA Playoffs. They then react to Quintin Grimes balling following his trade from the Dallas Mavericks to the Philadelphia 76ers, sparking a conversation over if this move during the Mavs' historic trade deadline was actually worse than the Luka Doncic trade. Finally, WNBA Legend Sheryl Swoopes and Lexie Brown weigh in on the looming CBA negotiations in the WNBA and discuss if a lockout is looming for the Women's league before reacting to Cameron Brink's comments on the sexualization of the W in mainstream media. The Milwaukee Bucks got a win in their most important game of this end of season slog, defeating the Indiana Pacers at home to secure the tiebreaker vs Indiana and get themselves some breathing room in the standings to hold onto the fourth seed. But the very next night a short-handed Oklahoma City Thunder team came into Fiserv Forum and showed Milwaukee they're not at the level of the top NBA contenders with a firm road win.Ti Windisch and Rohan Katti first pause to recognize the immense loss of Junior Bridgeman, a true icon. Following that, they dive into the big Indiana win including awful officiating and the right balance of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard brilliance, before getting to the OKC loss and trying to figure out what's wrong with Milwaukee's offense. Eventually they explore more starting lineup changes, including if Giannis would ever start at the 5 for Brook Lopez and if Gary Trent Jr. should swap in for Kyle Kuzma to open up more space for Giannis to operate within.

The Milwaukee Bucks snapped their three-game losing streak with a strong win over the Los Angeles Lakers in Milwaukee on Thursday night, so Ti Windisch was joined by Justin Garcia from the Bucks Radio Network and Locked on Bucks Podcast to discuss what went right for Milwaukee in that game and many more Bucks topics. Ti and Justin weighed in on how they feel the Bucks acquisitions (Kevin Porter Jr., Kyle Kuzma, and Jericho Sims) are succeeding early in Milwaukee, how much of the offense should revolve around Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard and whether it matters if they are facilitators or the actual scorers, if the Bucks should ultimately replace Taurean Prince with one of Gary Trent Jr. or AJ Green, if any of the Bucks current out of rotation players have a chance to get back in, and how the Dame and Giannis partnership is going in year 2. He played 12 years in the NBA, most of that for the Milwaukee Bucks, who retired his number. After his athletic career ended, Bridgeman operated numerous restaurants, including many Wendy's locations. On this week's show, we share some favorite stories about Bridgeman. Reporter Michael L. Jones also shares some clips from interviews that he conducted with Kevin Cosby, president and CEO of Simmons College, Jimmy Kirchdorfer, CEO of ISCO Industries and Wade Houston, a basketball great and founder of HJI Supply Chain Solutions. (00:00-24:04) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing last night’s heroic shot by Tyrese Haliburton to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks. They recap the entire game from start to finish and play all the calls from the shot from around the world. (24:04-42:06) – Pacers beat writer, Dustin Dopirak, from the IndyStar joins Query & Company to recap last night’s win for the Pacers over the Bucks. Dustin talks about the way he believes that the team will handle Tyrese Haliburton moving forward with his hip injury, assesses whether T.J. McConnell will start getting some rest the rest of the season, and then notes that Indiana really could have blown out Milwaukee if they made some of the wide open threes they missed. (42:06-46:32) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie give away a pair of tickets for a listener to go see Mary J. Blige and Ne-Yo at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in April! (46:32-1:07:53) – Colts beat writer, Joel Erickson, from the IndyStar joins the program to ask questions about his wager with Robin the Genie. Joel also believes that the additions of Charvarius Ward and Camryn Bynum will allow the Colts to have a better evaluation of the quarterback competition and debates with Jake if they should take a flier on Shedeur Sanders if he’s available at fourteen for Indianapolis. (1:07:53-1:17:36) – After the game last night during Inside The NBA, Shaq misspoke when talking about the head coach of the Detroit Pistons. Jake asks Eddie about the popularity of the show still and if it’s still entertaining even though the crew has gotten older. (1:17:36-1:25:52) – Hour number two concludes with Jake and Eddie providing an update on Purdue and Indiana’s NCAA Tournament fate in the eyes of Joe Lunardi from ESPN. (1:25:52-1:49:51) – Last night Clemson’s Brad Brownell was asked about his interest in the Indiana head coaching job. Jake plays what Brownell’s response was to being questioned about it. Also, they get back on the discussion of Tyrese Haliburton’s miraculous four-point play by playing all the calls from around the world. (1:49:51-2:02:37) – IU athletics beat writer, Zach Osterman, from the IndyStar joins Jake Query to provide an update on where things are at with the Indiana coaching search, reacts to some of the names that Jake peppers him with as to whether or not they are still in the mix for the job, and believes that Indiana would be a team sweating all weekend if they lose to Oregon and be a team that misses the NCAA Tournament because of bid stealers. (2:02:37-2:08:24) – Today’s show closes with JMV joining the guys in the studio to discuss last night’s game for the Indiana Pacers and how different this team is with Tyrese Haliburton in the lineup!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Munaf Manji and Mackenzie Rivers talk NBA betting for Saturday. The guys also give out best bets. The NBA Dream Preview podcast hosted by Munaf Manji and Mackenzie Rivers provided analysis and insights for NBA games scheduled for Saturday. Munaf Manji (0:11–2:02) opened by highlighting the major news of Kyrie Irving's torn ACL injury, emphasizing its severe impact on the Dallas Mavericks. He pointed out Kyrie's exceptional season, noting he was the only player averaging over 20 points per game, 50% from the field, and 90% from the free-throw line. Mackenzie Rivers (2:03–3:54) discussed the implications of Irving's injury, stressing that while ACL injuries have shorter recovery periods today, it's significant given Kyrie's age (32) and heavy usage (39 minutes per game—the highest in the NBA post-Luka trade). Mackenzie critically noted the broader issue of heavy player workloads, suggesting the NBA's physical intensity has surpassed traditional scheduling models. Munaf Manji (3:54–4:56) agreed, proposing fewer games (65-70 instead of 82) could reduce injuries and improve player availability for playoffs. Discussing Anthony Davis's future with Dallas (4:57–6:17), Mackenzie declared the Mavericks' current championship window effectively closed. He asserted that Davis is primarily valuable as a trade asset and doubted Davis's return to significant play for Dallas. Rivers (6:37–6:56) briefly predicted a Lakers-Celtics finals matchup, highlighting these franchises' historic rivalry and current strengths. Munaf Manji (6:57–7:47) emphasized star power in the Lakers-Celtics potential finals, specifically mentioning Luka Doncic, LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, and Jalen Brown. He noted the Celtics' injury issues and their intent to keep stars healthy for playoffs. In the "I Got Five On It" segment (7:49–14:18), Mackenzie set the Lakers' over-under win total at 52.5, noting their impressive 12-2 record since acquiring Luka Doncic, making them the number two seed in the West. Munaf chose the under, citing a challenging remaining schedule and likely rest periods for LeBron and Luka. Game analysis began with Orlando Magic at Milwaukee Bucks (14:19–20:19). Mackenzie favored Bucks at -7.5, noting Orlando's poor recent form and injury to Jalen Suggs negatively impacting both offense and defense. Munaf supported this, citing Milwaukee's historic dominance over Orlando. The Lakers at Celtics game (20:19–26:04) was assessed next. Rivers initially leaned toward Boston but cited concerns about Drew Holiday's injury and the Lakers' recent strength in clutch moments. Munaf took Lakers +6, highlighting their resilience and strong halftime adjustments. Finally, they analyzed Detroit Pistons at Golden State Warriors (26:06–33:45). Despite Detroit's impressive recent performance, Mackenzie expressed cautious support for the Pistons +5 due to Warriors' recent long road trip. Munaf agreed, noting Detroit's strong road performance this season. Munaf's best bet (34:10–36:34) was Houston Rockets -8 against the Pelicans, citing Houston's 3-0 head-to-head record against New Orleans and recent defensive strength. Mackenzie supported this but mentioned Fred VanVleet's questionable status as an important factor. The episode concluded with promotional announcements for pregame.com and playful banter about Irish Heritage Month (38:32–39:50). Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
