After the school shooting in Nashville TN I thought it would be a good idea to replay the episode I did with Scarlett Lewis. She lost her son Jesse in the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting. Instead of getting angry she turned that energy into starting a movement of Love. Choose Love Movement is not only in several US states but is international. Take a listen to this brave mother's crusade and help spread love instead of hate.

In today's episode Michelle has a heart warming conversation with Scarlett Lewis who lost her son Jessie Lewis during the Sandy Hook shootings. When Scarlett got home the night of the shooting, she noticed on her kitchen chalkboard that Jesse had written the words Nurture, Healing, Love. All three of these words are used in the definition of #compassion. Instead of anger, finger pointing and blame Scarlett decided to become part of the solution. That's when she founded The Choose Love Movement. In today's episode you'll learn how courageous Jesse was in his last moments and how his courage helped propel his mother to spread love and educate children, parents and whole community how to handle their emotions, deal with confrontation and choose love over hate.
