"From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force." Matthew 11:12 What must happen for the American church to experience an ACTUAL great Awakening? Author, Pastor, and Artist Doug Giles joins Jeremy Slayden on JSlayUSA to answer this exact question as well as explaining why we should not be surprised by the open hostility being waged towards Christians and a Christian Worldview. What is the correct response? Doug's New Book: John the Baptist, A Rude Awakening Precedes a Great Awakening: https://www.amazon.com/John-Baptist-Awakening-Precedes-Great/dp/1618082159/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1680547622&sr=8-1 The politically incorrect ministry of John the Baptist was the prelude to the person and work of Jesus Christ. John was the opening act. If we want “Jesus” in our life, home, church and culture then we must embrace ourselves for “John's” abrasive message of repentance. The message that will eternally change you, will first immediately confront you and offend you. The messenger, like John the Baptist, will offend you as well. Those who hunger and thirst after righteousness are cool with both. They don't care if their flesh gets pinched and the message gets pitched by a wild prophet. All they want is God's will to be done, on earth as it is in heaven. This new book from best-selling author, Doug Giles, is a must-read for any Christian serious about spurning today's worldly culture and getting closer to God. The following is a conversation with John Salka. John began his career in politics in 2001 having spent time on the Brookfield Central school board, Brookfield town supervisor, and county board of supervisors. He chaired a number of key committees including Planning and Economic Development, Mental Health, Social Services, Public Health and served as the vice president of the Board of Health for six years. John oversaw over 40 millions dollars of taxpayers money and his crowning achievement during his tenure was privatizing the public health nursing agency thus saving the taxpayers over a million dollars in the first year of its divestiture. He also chaired the Energy committee and was president of the Madison County Public Utilities Corp. In 2018 John was elected to the New York State Assembly representing the 121st district which encompassed all of Madison, the southern part of Oneida and most of Otsego counties. He served for two terms and due to unconstitutional redistricting he decided not to run for what would have been a third and final term. John is currently the Director of Community Affairs for congressman Brandon Williams of the 22nd congressional district that encompasses all of Onondaga, Madison and Oneida counties. I have followed John for sometime and believes he wants the best for upstate NY. His public service contribution is one I respect. He has been in a government role 23 years and has witnessed many trends, and political discourse, which is why I am excited to talk with him today.Link:Email: jsalka3@gmail.comSponsors:NativePath:Follow the link below to see all of NativePath's Pure Grass-Fed, Organic, Clean Supplements and use the CoMo15 code at checkout for 15% off!https://www.nativepath.com/Lombardi Chiropractic:https://www.lombardichiropractic.com/Mention the Co-Movement Gym Podcast when scheduling your initial appointment for 50% off Initial Consultation and X-Rays!Redmond:redmond.lifeOur team at Co-Movement Gym has used Redmond's Real Sea Salt, Seasonings, Re-Lyte Electrolyte drink and other products for years! In discussions about modern infertility treatments, many articles concerning in vitro fertilization (IVF) and surrogacy, and even the ethics of using a third-party gamete donor, have been written. As an extension of the ethical conversation surrounding fertility treatments, the fertility industry itself must be examined. From lack of reasonable regulations, to targeting young gamete donors, to the problem of anonymous donors and non-transparent medical information, the fertility industry itself does not at present align with Christian moral values. In the United States, however, there is currently no federal law prohibiting doctors from swapping chosen donor sperm with their own, or any other sperm for that matter. The New York Times reports that since the popularization of commercial DNA testing in recent years, over fifty doctors have been accused of doing the same thing. This is the case even though only approximately twenty-one percent of Americans have taken a commercial DNA test. The number of offending doctors may be much higher. The fertility industry in America is largely anonymous. Anonymity leaves the door open for serial donors to run rampant, for sibling pods to grow to excessive numbers, and for significant mental distress to occur in donor-conceived individuals and recipient families. In America, there is currently no national donor registry, making it difficult to track serial donors across multiple clinics. Because American donors can remain anonymous, and each bank maintains its own records without necessarily communicating with other banks, this can lead to enormous sibling pods — some reaching over one hundred. With more couples than ever before opting to use fertility treatments to conceive, it is imperative for Christians to weigh the ethical issues of the fertility industry alongside the procedures themselves. From regulation issues to problematic practices, the industry at present poses many concerns that must be thoroughly considered, prayed about, and weighed by Christians who are struggling to conceive. There may be situations in which Christians believe they can ethically make the choice to use various types of fertility treatments, but this industry should not be opted into without significant care and concern, with full awareness about the procedures and the industry's current practices. This Postmodern Realities episode is a conversation with JOURNAL author Lisa Cooper about her online article, “Is Participating in the Fertility Industry Ethical?” When you to subscribe to and support the Journal, you join the team of print subscribers whose paid subscriptions help provide the resources at equip.org that minister to people worldwide. On the 100th episode of High Noon, Emily Jashinsky is back on the pod to take a step back and think about some of the news items that have been firehosing the media for the last month. Emily and Inez discuss some of the positive and negative possibilities regarding Tucker Carlson's departure from Fox News and what it might do to the media landscape. They also dive back into the uncynical world of the early 2000s, and wonder whether the same limitless impulse that put Americans on the moon and led MLK Jr. to his optimism about the “arc of history” bending towards justice might have met its end with the now-obvious naïveté of George W. Bush's failed crusade to rid all cultures around the world of tyranny. Finally, the ladies make an attempt to have a real discussion — not another circular fight about gun control and “mental health” — about the school shooting phenomenon, why this particular outlet for “American Devils” is the curse of our particular couple decades, and what, if anything, can actually be done about it.--High Noon is an intellectual download featuring conversations that make possible a free society. “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Ps 34:18. The tragic school shooting that happened in the Covenant School in Nashville and the devastation in Mississippi left many with loss, grief and feeling hopeless. How do we find comfort and peace when the unthinkable happens? James Forsyth, Senior Pastor of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Kn Orville, TN joins Jenny to talk about walking through grief with those who are hurting, comforting our children and bringing hope to a world that desperately needs Jesus.
Wickedness and loss seem to hide God's presence, but even when we cannot see or feel Him, the Lord is risen and is with us.

“Is it a coincidence that leftists always seem to use dead children to advance their agenda?” The political theater that played out in the Tennessee state capitol was the reality television version of HBO docu-series “Paradise Lost”. Both shows feature three individuals that used dead children to elevate their profiles. Justin Jones, Justin Pearson and Gloria Johnson led a protest during a state legislature session that turned the conversation away from the act of transgender terrorism just days earlier, and crafted a narrative over their martyrdom for gun control. “Jones, Pearson, and Johnson, three members of the Tennessee House, have made themselves the face and victims of the Nashville Covenant School massacre.” Jones and Pearson were expelled for their violations of House rules, Johnson retained her seat by one vote. Jones and Pearson are black, Johnson is a white woman. Now the national conversation is about the racist Tennessee House of Representatives, not the thwarted plan to attack schools in Colorado by a transgendered man. Do you see a trend? Robby Starbuck does. The conservative media personality joins Jason to discuss the controversy over “The Tennessee Three”. Plus, Jason welcomes “The Korean Cosell” Steve Kim to discuss Cam Newton's delusions of grandeur, Angel Reese's hypocrisy and more trans violence against women's sports advocate Riley Gaines. And, Jason welcomes four more “Fearless” fans for an Approval Ratings App Battle. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

We just learned late last night that the shooter in Nashville purchased an astounding 7 guns, including multiple assault rifles, from 5 different stores across Tennessee, and loaded up on tons of ammunition... all while being treated and evaluated for severe mental health issues. And no red flag was raised. WHY? Because conservatives in Tennessee fought against all red flag laws and made it one of the easiest places IN THE WORLD to purchase guns. Let me unpack and explain it. America is mourning after yet another school shooting, so Glenn gets to the root of the issue: mental health. Pat Gray joins Glenn to discuss the increasing radicalization of the transgender community due to the mental illness issue that most of the transgender community suffers from. With almost every major car manufacturer switching to electric vehicles, the demand for electric vehicles should be spiking. Emmy Award-winning automotive expert Paul Brian joins Glenn to discuss why the demand for EVs doesn't match the supply. Glenn and Pat discuss the story of the transgender woman who had an uncomfortable experience with a TSA agent. Glenn dives deeper into the mental illness epidemic spreading throughout our society as the transgender community plans a day of revenge. America's apathy is leading us down a path toward total destruction. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
It happened again. Yet another school shooting in America. Over and over and over again. We keep seeing them. They rips schools and communities apart. And as always, nothing substantive gets done about it. Today I want to push the conversation forward some and try to expound on WHY nothing gets done on this issue. It's not as simple as we make it out to be. It's not just the NRA. It's much deeper. Let me unpack and explain it.
