Welcome back to the Compared to Who? podcast and our ongoing series, Waiting for Weight Loss. In today’s episode, Heather Creekmore shares a powerful story about a time when her identity—literally—was stolen, setting the stage for an honest discussion about our true identity in Christ. Episode Highlights: Heather Creekmore opens up with a personal experience of being mugged and losing her physical identification, making the connection to how many of us “lose” our spiritual identity while chasing the approval of others or pursuing body goals. She asks: Has your identity been stolen—figuratively—by misplaced priorities, societal pressures, or the pursuit of weight loss? We explore the idea that any identity outside of Christ is a “fake ID,” and discuss what it means to rest in our adoption as daughters (and sons) of God. Heather Creekmore unpacks how our attempts to earn love and acceptance through appearance or achievements are distractions from the Gospel. The healthiest approach to weight loss and goals? Pursuing them from a place of already being fully loved and accepted, not from a place of insecurity or striving to earn worth. Reflection Questions: What “fake IDs” have you been carrying? How would your approach to your body and your goals change if you truly believed your identity was already secure in Christ? Check out Episode on Boasting Here Join the Community!Join the conversation! Heather Creekmore invites you to become part of our supportive community at waitingforweightloss.com. Share your story, connect with others, and discover what it means to pursue your goals from a place of true security and love. Don’t walk this journey alone—head over to waitingforweightloss.com, join the community, and let’s cut up those “fake IDs” together! Ozempic and other GLP-1 drugs have had a major impact in their short time on the market—currently, one in eight Americans say that they have been on GLP-1 drugs. As tens of millions of people take these medications, anecdotal evidence has emerged that they have a positive effect on alcohol abuse and drug addiction. Researchers are starting to run trials of the drugs for these purposes, and some speculate that GLP-1 drugs could even affect addiction behaviors such as gambling and online shopping. The physician and New Yorker medical correspondent Dhruv Khullar spoke with scientists and patients. “Over the course of my reporting,” he tells David Remnick, “I became more and more bullish on the idea that these are actually going to be really important molecules for the treatment of addiction.” Dhruv Khullar's “Can Ozempic Cure Addiction?” was published on February 9th. New episodes of The New Yorker Radio Hour drop every Tuesday and Friday. Join host David Remnick as he discusses the latest in politics, news, and current events in conversation with political leaders, newsmakers, innovators, New Yorker staff writers, authors, actors, and musicians.

The insurance industry is purposely complex. Many brokers use confusing jargon and convoluted strategies to maintain the status quo and protect their commissions. But in today's market, complexity kills deals. We break down why you need to stop trying to be "interesting" and start being "interested," how to explain complex benefit strategies so clients actually take action, and why true trust requires radical honesty. On a freezing morning, it feels smart to let your car idle and warm up before driving off. But is it? Modern engines aren't built the way they used to be. In fact, letting your car sit and idle too long may not be doing what you think it is. This episode begins with what actually happens under the hood — and how long you really should wait before you hit the gas and go. https://www.mensjournal.com/gear/stop-idling-like-its-1985-warm-up-your-car-right There are few communication situations more intense than when a Secret Service agent speaks with someone who has threatened the President of the United States. In those moments, connection, trust, and careful listening aren't just helpful — they're critical. Brad Beeler developed his communication skills in those exact circumstances and shares how anyone can apply those same techniques to everyday conversations. Brad served in many roles at the Secret Service including on the protection detail for President George H.W. Bush. He is author of Tell Me Everything: A Secret Service Agent's Proven Strategies for Earning Trust, Revealing the Truth, and Communicating with Anyone (https://amzn.to/3M5YlKy). Designing a meaningful life may not be about discovering your one true calling or waiting for passion to strike. What if finding meaning is something you build through experimentation — by testing ideas, adjusting course, and learning from experience? Bill Burnett explains how “design thinking” can be applied to life itself. He is executive director of the Stanford Life Design Lab, founder of the Designing Your Life Institute, and co-author of How to Live a Meaningful Life: Using Design Thinking to Unlock Purpose, Joy, and Flow Every Day. In this episode of Compared to Who?, Heather Creekmore invites listeners to take a deeply-needed exhale from the relentless messages around body image and self-worth that the world sends our way. Building on the "Waiting for Weight Loss" series, Heather opens up about her own struggles with feeling valuable through fitness and body changes, and the letdown that follows when external goals don’t bring the internal peace we’re promised. Heather dives into the concept of "monetized insecurity"—the way industries profit from our feelings of inadequacy—and breaks down why finding your worth in God, not in weight loss or body perfection, is the only path that leads to real security and rest. You’ll walk away with: Practical breathwork exercises for grounding and relaxation A guided prayer for internalizing your true value An honest look at cultural lies vs. God’s unchanging truth about your worth Reflective questions to revisit whenever you need a reminder that you are already loved, worthy, and enough Key Question: Whose message is easier for you to believe: monetized insecurity or God's message of worth beyond what you measure? If you've ever felt like your body is fighting you no matter how “perfect” your nutrition or workouts are, this episode will feel like a deep exhale. Today, I'm sitting down with Soraya Rufener, one of our coaches at Vital Spark, to share the story behind the safety, trust, and results her clients feel from day one. Soraya isn't just highly credentialed as a registered nurse and functional health coach. She's lived through chronic dieting, body distrust, and the exhausting pressure to always “do more.” She started dieting at 13, spent years stuck in restriction cycles, and did everything diet culture promised would work. And yet, nothing was actually healing. In this conversation, we unpack why willpower wasn't the problem, how postpartum healing changed everything, and what rebuilding a body really requires physically, mentally, and emotionally. Soraya shares the moment she stopped punishing her body and learned how to support it instead. We talk about why healing is layered, why consistency matters more than intensity, and how nervous system safety changes outcomes. She also opens up about how her lived experience reshaped the way she coaches postpartum moms and high-achieving women today. Most importantly, we explore what she refuses to repeat from diet culture—and why coaching women differently matters. Today's episode is a metabolic reality episode because insulin resistance isn't rare and it's not something that suddenly appears out of nowhere. If we zoom out and we look at the landscape of metabolic disease, type two diabetes, cardiovascular disease, non- alcoholic fatty liver disease, insulin resistance sits at the center of all of it. And when we look at the data, close to ninety percent of metabolic disease is driven by lifestyle factors. This means it's how we eat, how we sleep, how we move, how we manage stress, and how sedentary or active we are over time. That makes this an everyday conversation. Insulin resistance shows up in women long before anyone ever uses that language. And most women, they can feel it before they can name it. We'll unpack insulin resistance, how this affects women different than men, insulin signaling, and what we need to do as women to stave off this complex issue. Nothing goes together better than a conversation about technology for fast food and weigh loss.
https://www.instagram.com/shaygrounded/In this episode of The Brad Jensen Show, I sat down with Shay, known as Shaygrounded on Instagram and TikTok. Shay is currently on a weight loss journey that started at nearly 400 pounds. She's already down over 30 pounds, but that's not the most impressive part of her story. What made me want to bring her on the show is the stance she has taken from day one. Radical accountability. Radical ownership. No excuses. No blame. No victim mentality. In a world where it's easy to point fingers at genetics, society, trauma, the system, or the body positivity movement, Shay has done something different. She has publicly said, "I am responsible for where I am." And that hasn't made everyone happy. Some within the body positivity space have pushed back on her message because she refuses to play the victim. She doesn't blame anyone else for being in the position she's in. She owns it. Fully. Not only that, she started documenting her journey publicly on Instagram and TikTok to hold herself accountable. She shares the wins. The struggles. The hard truths. The uncomfortable realizations. All of it. It's a breath of fresh air. Other creators have taken notice. And for good reason. Because ownership is powerful. And as you guys know, victims never win. Shay is the furthest thing from a victim. In this conversation we talk about: What it actually feels like to top out at almost 400 pounds Why radical ownership changed everything for her The backlash she has received for refusing to blame anyone else Using social media as an accountability tool instead of a highlight reel The mindset shifts required to create real, sustainable change Why brutal honesty is one of the most underrated transformation tools This episode will challenge you. It will empower you. And most importantly, it will force you to look in the mirror and ask yourself where you might still be outsourcing responsibility in your own life. If you are serious about changing your body, your mindset, or your life, this one is for you. Own your shit. Change your life. Jim Peeler lives in Hickory, a small city in North Carolina's foothills. He and his wife, Diana, have two adult children who both live in the mountains of western NC, and one grandson. Jim is a financial controller for a logistics company.Jim has just passed his two-year anniversary of fasting on February 1, 2026. This past year, Jim has completed his first year of maintenance and offers great insight in this episode. Now 65 years old, Jim has struggled with weight issues at least since the 5th grade of elementary school, at theage of ten. He has lost hundreds of pounds over the years, using various methods, but has always regained even more once the diet ended. The hope is that intermittent fasting will hold the key to finally losing significant weight for good. Looking back, Jim realises that over his life he had reached a tipping point roughly every 10 years that prompted him to start a serious weight-loss attempt, with numerous attempts in between that never lasted very long. Jim was successful at losing weight in these serious attempts, shedding more and more pounds each time, but the diet rollercoaster led him to heavier weights with each try until he reached a maximum weight of 245 pounds in late 2018. And at only 5 feet, 4 inches, he was seriously morbidly obese. Through 2019 and 2020, he successfully reached150 pounds through calorie reduction and walking, but by 2024, he had once again risen to 215 pounds following a job change and the loss of his mother, among other stressful situations. He had heard of intermittent fasting some time before, but had never seriously considered it until he decided to give it a try in February 2024. Since then, he has lived a fasting lifestyle and is on the path to long-term maintenance, thanks to intermittent fasting. Graeme's Links to connect with me directly. In this jaw-dropping episode , we sit down with George Day — one of the most prolific yet largely unknown drug kingpins in American history. Raised in Washington, DC, George was literally born into the drug trade. By age six, he was traveling across the border with his father, helping smuggle hundreds of pounds of marijuana hidden inside a Winnebago. As he grew older, his life spiraled deeper into the underworld — from trimming weed in Mexico to handling massive cash pickups and negotiating with Colombian suppliers before he was even a teenager. After his father's sudden death, George found himself — at just 11 years old — sitting on a multimillion-dollar drug ledger, forced to navigate dangerous debts, cartel relationships, and violent street politics. What followed was the rise of a cocaine empire that eventually stretched across all 50 states… and ultimately led to a life sentence plus 90 years in federal prison. This is Part 1 of an unbelievable story about family, survival, crime, and the realities of growing up inside America's drug economy.

Does aspartame spike insulin? Trigger hunger? Disrupt metabolism? Increase diabetes risk?In this Mini Mikkipedia episode, Mikki breaks down a comprehensive meta-analysis published in Advances in Nutrition reviewing over 100 human randomized controlled trials on aspartame. The findings challenge many of the common narratives circulating online. You'll learn what actually happens to blood glucose, insulin, appetite hormones, and calorie intake when people consume aspartame—and why the feared “insulin spike without glucose” mechanism doesn't hold up physiologically. Mikki also unpacks concerns around methanol and amino acid breakdown products, and explains why observational studies often drive misleading headlines. If you enjoy a diet drink and worry it's sabotaging your fat loss or metabolic health, this episode offers clarity grounded in human clinical data—not fear-based speculation.HighlightsWhy aspartame does not trigger insulin spikes in human trialsWhat the research shows about hunger, appetite hormones, and calorie intakeThe difference between observational studies and randomized controlled trialsMethanol, phenylalanine, and aspartic acid: dose, context, and perspectiveWhether diet drinks interfere with weight loss or metabolic flexibility Contact Mikki:https://mikkiwilliden.com/https://www.facebook.com/mikkiwillidennutritionhttps://www.instagram.com/mikkiwilliden/https://linktr.ee/mikkiwillidenSave 20% on all Nuzest Products WORLDWIDE with the code MIKKI at www.nuzest.co.nz, www.nuzest.com.au or www.nuzest.comCurranz supplement: MIKKI saves you 25% at www.curranz.co.nz or www.curranz.co.uk off your first order

It is internal division. Praying for change while quietly expecting failure drains endurance and interrupts transformation. In this episode, Sherrie Kapala reveals how belief, agreement, and expectancy affect behavior, endurance, and lasting change. You'll learn how becoming undivided in your belief produces alignment, boldness, and freedom, not just spiritually, but physically. This message will help you recognize what has been keeping you stuck and show you how to move forward with clarity, strength, and faith.Learn more:https://www.sherriekapala.comJoin The Seeker's Method:https://www.sherriekapala.com/seekerListen to more episodes of Christian Life Coaching for Weight Loss with Sherrie Kapala.
Body language sends signals we're often unaware of — and apparently, that includes your belly button. Where it points can subtly communicate interest, attention, and even attraction. This episode begins with the surprising message your belly button may be sending — and what you might be picking up from others without realizing it. Have you ever eaten when you weren't hungry… or kept eating even though you were already full — and then wondered why you did that? Most people assume it's about willpower. It isn't. Dr. Jud Brewer explains what's really driving those urges and how to break the cycle without dieting, restriction, or guilt. We like to believe we're good at predicting the future — our careers, relationships, finances, and even how we'll feel. But humans are notoriously bad at understanding randomness, coincidence, and probability. Why do coincidences seem so meaningful? Why does randomness never look random? And how does this distort the predictions we make about our own lives? Kit Yates joins me to unpack the science behind prediction — and when it's smarter not to predict at all. Today, I'm delighted to welcome Dr. Yael Joffe, a leading expert in nutrigenomics who speaks internationally at conferences on translating the science of genetics into clinical practice. She holds a PhD in nutrigenomics from the University of Cape Town, where her research focused on the genetics of obesity. I met Yael earlier this fall and decided to invite her on the podcast to explore the growing field of lifestyle genetics. In our conversation today, we dive into the effects of nutrigenomics, nutrition genetics, and SNPs, which she refers to as spelling changes in our DNA. We cover genetic testing in the industry, red flags, DNA health, and her polygenic approach to weight loss resistance. We also discuss both perimenopause and menopause from the perspective of genetics and epigenetics, and the role of insulin signalling and glucose. Yael's insights are deeply informative. Her pioneering work on 36 metabolic pathways and her ability to make complex genetic information accessible and actionable make this a truly invaluable conversation. IN THIS EPISODE, YOU WILL LEARN: Women and gaining weight after starting HRT Neurotransmitters and what they reveal about mood, anxiety, and addiction tendencies Why do certain people break down dopamine and serotonin either too fast or too slowly? How touch and genuine connection can switch on feel-good genes Sunlight, weather, and environment affect genetic expression. What acupuncture and infrared therapies do at the gene level Why hormones are only part of the picture when addressing midlife weight gain How glucose regulation and insulin sensitivity shift through menopause Dr. Joffe's polygenic testing model connects multiple pathways rather than single genes How Yael's approach to genetic testing differs from that of others in the field Bio: YAEL JOFFE, PhD Yael is globally recognized as a leading expert in nutrigenomics. In 2000, she was part of the team that built the first lifestyle genetics test, and since then has been responsible for creating many others. She is the author of four books: The Power of Genetics, It's Not Just Your Genes, Genes to Plate, and SNP Journal. Yael has been published in multiple peer-reviewed scientific journals, hosts the Power of Genetics podcast, and is a highly regarded speaker in genetics. Yael built the first online nutrigenomics platform for clinician education and has developed and supervised genomics courses around the world. She has trained thousands of healthcare practitioners globally, also teaching at Rutgers University and the Maryland University of Integrative Health. In 2018, Yael founded 3X4 Genetics and now serves as its Chief Science Officer. Okay babes… this is a very special Free The Moms episode. This one is actually a replay-style webinar training that I hosted, and I decided to bring it to the podcast because this conversation needs to happen out loud. We are talking all things peptides. Yes, GLP-1s. And also NAD+, glutathione, B12, BPC-157 and more. But the main focus of this training is GLP-1s—why so many of my clients are taking them, why some are microdosing, why some are on a full weight-loss dose… and why I personally am on a microdose.I'll be honest with you. I was nervous to release this. There is still so much stigma around GLP-1s. And I don't love that. So we're de-stigmatizing it. We're having the conversation. Because my job is to bring you information, empowerment, and options—without shame.Inside this episode, I walk you through:- What peptides actually are (and why they're not some scary foreign thing)- The difference between microdosing a GLP-1 and using a full weight-loss dose- Why I chose to microdose—and how I think about it in the context of longevity and metabolic health- Semaglutide vs tirzepatide (single agonist vs dual agonist) and what that actually means- What my clients are experiencing on these medications- Side effects like nausea and how they're managing it- Why medical oversight matters and how to think about doing this responsiblyWe also talk about other supportive peptides like NAD+ and glutathione, and why this conversation is bigger than “just weight loss.” For many of my clients, this is about metabolic healing, inflammation, energy, and feeling like themselves again. If you're curious, skeptical, interested, or just want to understand what the heck everyone is talking about, this episode is for you. You get to decide what's right for your body. Always. If you want to explore further, you can check out the peptides portal here:https://lmd.com/LauraConleyAnd if you attended the webinar live (or signed up), you'll receive the replay, consult link, booking link, and all resources via email.I love you guys. I'm proud of you for being open-minded. And I'm committed to giving you the tools and information you need to make empowered choices for your health. Hosted on Acast. This episode covers: • Microplastics Are Destroying Male Fertility and Metabolism New research is putting microplastics in a category most men still are not taking seriously: direct reproductive and hormone risk. A 2024 study detected microplastics in every human testicle examined, with polyethylene and PVC among the most common polymers. PVC is especially relevant because it's often tied to chemical additives that can disrupt endocrine signaling. The broader body of evidence points to micro- and nanoplastics crossing barriers like the blood–testis barrier, driving inflammation and oxidative stress in the testes, and showing associations with impaired sperm quality and hormone disruption. The longevity move here is reducing overall load: better water filtration, less plastic food contact, no heating food in plastic, fewer packaged foods, and taking indoor dust and air quality seriously, especially for men thinking about fertility now or hormone resilience over decades. • Sources: – Study (PubMed): https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38745431/ – Coverage: https://people.com/microplastics-in-every-human-testicle-infertility-8651215 • Fear of Aging Is Linked to Faster Biological Aging A new study ties aging anxiety to measurable acceleration in biological aging using DNA methylation clocks. People who reported more worry and negative beliefs about aging showed faster epigenetic aging signals, and the molecular differences clustered around stress and inflammatory pathways. In plain terms, chronic threat-mode thinking around aging maps onto biology that looks older on the clocks. For a longevity audience, this is a practical reminder that mental inputs affect physiological outputs. If your day-to-day mindset is constant pressure and decline narratives, that can show up downstream in stress biology and inflammatory tone. A smarter play is building a longevity framework around function, strength, purpose, and community, alongside the usual pillars like sleep, training, and metabolic health. • Source: https://medicalxpress.com/news/2026-02-older-links-health-faster-epigenetic.html • Additional source: https://www.nyu.edu/about/news-publications/news/2026/february/aging-anxiety.html • Retatrutide, the Triple-Agonist Weight-Loss Drug Pushing Bariatric-Level Results Retatrutide is a triple agonist that targets GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors, and the weight-loss numbers being reported are massive. In a 68-week study in people with obesity and knee osteoarthritis, the highest dose group averaged about 28.7% body-weight loss, along with meaningful improvements in knee pain and function. This is the next phase of incretin medicine: multi-agonist drugs that can move body weight by a quarter or more. For biohackers, the performance and longevity angle is implementation: preserving lean mass through resistance training, hitting protein targets, monitoring micronutrients, and building a maintenance plan that doesn't collapse the moment the drug stops. The upside is cardiometabolic risk reduction at scale. The key is running it with structure. • Sources: – Eli Lilly release: https://investor.lilly.com/news-releases/news-release-details/lillys-triple-agonist-retatrutide-delivered-weight-loss-average – Coverage: https://nypost.com/2026/02/18/health/people-dropped-out-of-retatrutide-trial-for-losing-too-much-weight/ – Background: https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2026/02/whats-next-for-glp-1s/ • AI Can Predict 130 Diseases From a Single Night of Sleep Stanford's SleepFM project shows how much long-horizon health information is encoded in sleep. Researchers trained a foundation model on roughly 585,000 hours of clinical polysomnography data from about 65,000 people. From a single night of sleep study signals, the model could estimate risk for 130 conditions, including dementia, heart attack, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, stroke, atrial fibrillation, and all-cause mortality, and it generalized across cohorts better than simple demographic baselines. The big implication is that sleep architecture and micro-patterns (stage distribution, fragmentation, breathing stability, micro-arousals) function like a dense biomarker stream for systemic aging and disease risk. Expect better sensors and more validated risk dashboards over time. Right now, this is another reason to treat sleep as a core diagnostic pillar, not just a recovery habit. • Sources: – Stanford Medicine: https://med.stanford.edu/news/all-news/2026/01/ai-sleep-disease.html – Paper (Nature Medicine): https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-025-04133-4 • Living at High Altitude May Protect Against Diabetes by Turning Red Blood Cells Into Glucose Sinks For years, population data has suggested lower diabetes rates at higher elevations. New mechanistic work is pointing to a surprising driver: red blood cells changing how they handle glucose under low oxygen conditions. In hypoxia, red blood cells can behave like glucose sinks, pulling more sugar out of circulation and improving glucose tolerance, which may help explain the protective association seen at altitude. The downstream potential is a new class of altitude-mimetic approaches that target erythrocyte metabolism as a glucose lever, separate from appetite suppression or classic diabetes pathways. For biohackers, it expands the metabolic toolkit and reinforces that oxygen environment and blood physiology matter more than we've given them credit for. • Source: https://medicalxpress.com/news/2026-02-red-blood-cells-sugar-high.html • Dietary Supplement Regulatory Uniformity Act and the Future of Supplement Access A proposed bill is aiming to stop states from layering extra rules on dietary supplements beyond federal law, creating one national standard instead of a patchwork of state-by-state restrictions. Industry groups are supporting it as a way to reduce confusion and compliance chaos, especially as some states explore age limits or special labeling requirements for certain supplement categories. The strategic implication for biohackers is that regulation shapes access. Uniformity can stabilize availability, but it also raises the stakes of federal decisions on controversial ingredients. This is one of those policy stories that quietly determines what stays on shelves, what disappears, and how much innovation survives in the supplement space. • Sources: – NutritionInsight: https://www.nutritioninsight.com/news/npa-crn-supplements-us-fda-legislation.html – Congressional release: https://langworthy.house.gov/media/press-releases/congressman-langworthy-introduces-dietary-supplement-regulatory-uniformity-act – NutraIngredients: https://www.nutraingredients.com/Article/2026/02/05/new-bill-aims-to-end-state-supplement-regulations/ All source links are provided for direct access to the original reporting and research. If you're a coffee drinker, you've probably wondered at some point whether you're drinking too much. Coffee gets blamed for everything from poor sleep to heart trouble — but a major long-term study tells a very different story. This episode begins with findings that may surprise (and reassure) coffee lovers. https://www.bmj.com/content/359/bmj.j5024 Eyeglasses are so common today that it's easy to forget how revolutionary they are. Before glasses, millions of people were cut off from reading, learning, working, and fully participating in society. The invention of eyeglasses didn't just improve vision — it reshaped education, labor, science, and culture. David King Dunaway joins me to tell this surprisingly underappreciated story. He's a professor of English at the University of New Mexico and the University of São Paulo, and author of A Four-Eyed World: How Glasses Changed the Way We See (https://amzn.to/46nqL9y). David's website is here: https://afoureyedworld.com/ Most people avoid complaining — it feels awkward, time-consuming, or not worth the effort. But when you don't complain, you often end up paying for mistakes that aren't yours. When done the right way, complaining can be effective, respectful, and surprisingly rewarding. Eric Zse explains when to speak up, what to say, and how to get results without being rude or angry. He's author of The Art of the Constructive Complaint: How to Speak Up, Get Heard, and Turn Everyday Frustrations into Fair Outcomes (https://amzn.to/45Sdi9L). And finally — have you ever walked into another room and instantly forgotten why you went there? It happens to almost everyone, and it has a name: the doorway effect. We wrap up with the fascinating reason this happens — and why it has nothing to do with memory loss or aging. If you're eating clean, working out, taking supplements — and STILL feeling tired, inflamed, or stuck with weight loss… this episode is for you. In this Q&A episode of The Health Revival Show, Liz & Becca break down the real reason so many women struggle with fatigue, inflammation, slow metabolism, and subtle hormone or gut symptoms — even when labs look “normal.” They explain: • Why inflammation changes how your body responds to food, exercise, and hormones • The difference between chronic illness cases vs early warning signs • Why more restriction isn't the answer (and often backfires) • How cellular health, mitochondria, thyroid, and metabolism are connected • Who their new 3-month metabolic reset program is actually for If you've been told “everything looks normal” but know something feels off… this episode gives you the missing context and next step. *** CONNECT:

This week on Your Mom's House, Christina P is joined by comedian Ian Fidance for a no-holds-barred conversation that swings wildly between trauma, sexuality, spirituality, parenting, and some of the most cool guys we've seen on the algo. Ian also plugs his new show "Ian Do: An Odd Guy Doing Odd Jobs" that is out now on the YMH Studios Network! Ian opens up about growing up with grief, anger, and confusion, sharing brutally honest stories about mental health, addiction, sexuality, and learning how to feel emotions without self-destruction. Christina matches him beat for beat, reflecting on immigrant parenting, generational trauma, shame, and the terrifying responsibility of raising emotionally healthy kids. From bottoming diets, trans Instagram thirst traps, and Epstein file conspiracies, to TikTok egg pranks, needle play, and deep dives into cult leaders, this episode is a chaotic masterclass in what happens when two hyper-self-aware comics refuse to censor themselves. There's laughter, discomfort, unexpected warmth, and moments of real clarity about identity, attraction, power, shame, and why modern internet culture feels completely broken. Plus: ska music, parenting philosophy, fashion crimes, hotel hookups, gay cruising etiquette, and why shame might actually serve a purpose. Try it out!
