Throughout our coverage of Blood and Sand, we neglected to appropriately acknowledge the awesome people behind this show, so we decided to take a quick moment and talk just about the actors, writers and directors.

We all agree that this episode is the best payoff episode to ever grace the boob tube. We LOVES this episode.

Revelations! Steve cracks Em and Paul up when he imagines Gollum as the Medicus… and we talk about the episode too. ;)

Other than the pure derision we heap upon the Medicus, we also briefly touch on the awesomeness of the dream imagery and how it is used as a truth reveal, and we speculate about Ashur’s personal motivations.
