We all knew Spartacus and his followers would meet a tragic end, but damn if they didn't make it look sexy as hell! Joining us for one final Girls' Night at MWD are the hosts of Ancient History Fangirl podcast, Jenny Williamson and Genn McMenemy. Listen as we laugh and discuss the terrible outfit choices, surfer-boy Julius Caesar's dubious alias , and the apparent apotheosis of Gannicus . While we had our doubts at the beginning of this series, War of the Damned brings the story to a satisfying conclusion and successfully makes us view Rome in a whole new (admittedly dim) light. If you want to learn more about Genn and Jenny's podcast, check out their website: https://www.ancienthistoryfangirl.com/You can also check out Jenny's personal website https://www.jennywilliamsonauthor.com/ to get details and updates about her upcoming historical romantasy novel, Enemy of My Dreams. Comecei a assistir o seriado Spartacus (2010-2013) no Netflix meio “cismado”.
In this pod, we discuss with some frustration the turn in Gannicus’ love life, and Paul talks about how shocking Kore’s story development was for him. On a lighthearted note, we imagine what it could be like if Crixus was in Bilbo’s place within the Riddles in the Dark chapter of The Hobbit. :)
In this pod, Paul rates this as the best episode ever, and Steve says he thinks it may even be better than Kill Them All. Listen and see why Paul thinks Ashur could have survived his Rebel confrontation, and why he thinks Gannicus should just bail. Stay tuned until after the end music, if you […]
In this podcast, we discuss the amazing episode Sacramentum which featured Gannicus quite prominently. Ashur is also discussed at some length with deepening disgust among us all.
In this cast, we mourn what appears to be the last scene with the Medicus, and we talk about Solonius’ transformation into a slick double crosser. We also express our satisfaction with the exciting Royal Rumble and Gannicus’ grand finale finish. After the end music of the podcast, there is a bonus segment for those […]
In this episode, we revisit the Roman public rest room, and Paul explains why he thinks Gannicus contributed to the wrong that was done to Melitta.
In this episode, we all agree it is an awesome start to an awesome season, and of course Paul is finally introduced to the fan favorite gladiator, Gannicus. Finally!!! :)
