Kashka Hopkinson is the founder and chef of cannabis infused pop-up pizzeria, Stoney Slice and Sarah Jenè is a Mississippi based collage artist who has taken a hobby and turned it into a full fledged business. We love to see it!        

The Budget Baes are back at it with stunt woman/actress, Alex Marshall-Brown. Alex indulges us in conversation about what it's like being a Black, female stuntwoman in Hollywood (doubling for Octavia Spencer!!), having her face used in video games and how she went viral overnight for sitting on a church lawn.

Mak and E discuss their battle with boredom and debate accents vs. dialects before welcoming special guest, producer/director, Ruth Du! Ruth shares her parent's inspiring immigration story, details her experience coordinating the AT&T Hello Lab with Lena Waithe and talks about creating films on a budget.

This week’s theme is: It’s My Duty. We discuss tenants rights, the unhoused community at Echo Park lake and their inspiration behind running for local council.
