Matt Drinkhahn's inspiring journey is one to be admired! From overcoming bullying to his three-day golf tournament with his father, which gave him a deeper understanding of parenting, his life has been shaped by strong moments of resilience. Throughout the conversation, we continually return to a moment with his father after a tough day in school when Matt faced his first real sense of rejection. It is this moment that Matt attributes to his strength and resilience.“I know I was reawakened, you know, by this legacy of dad and moving forward in the future. Uh, you asked about emotional intelligence Matt, I could say I didn't really have much of it. I was able to read people very, very well. I was good at sales. I was good at business, but being able to feel process emotion was not a strength. I could read the room well. I didn't process things. I just, I just buried them.”Matt is an entrepreneur and corporate veteran in sales, coaching, recruiting, leadership, and sales management. He has coached high-performance individuals and Teams for 8 years with ProAdvisorCoach and has led dozens of offsite retreats and conferences. He is best known for his integrity and highly energetic and enthusiastic personality. After losing his father, Matt also faced a freak zipline accident that could have taken away his ability to work. However, he used this moment and transformed it into teaching, coaching, and speaking to teams and companies while recovering. This was a defining moment in his career, and he credits the support of his family and the preparation of his mindset for his success.Check out his life's work on the social media channels below:Website: www.eternaloptimistpodcast.comInstagram: @EternalOptimistPodcast, @Coach_DrinkLinkedIn: Eternal Optimist Podcast, Matt DrinkhahnYouTube: The Eternal OptimistTwitter: @PodcastOptimist, @MDrinkhahnResources:Follow/Subscribe to "The Life Shift" wherever you listen to podcasts. My special guest tonight is Tony Rodrigues who's here to discuss his book Ceres Colony Cavalier: A True Account of One Man's Twenty Year Abduction. Tony says he was approached by ET's to leave and work on another planet for 20 years without anyone ever realizing it.The story within this book is confronting, seemingly impossible, and beyond logic for the common person. How could someone be kidnapped, live in their body for twenty years, then returned to the point of kidnapping at the same age? Once unheard of, a twenty year tour—often partially served in outer space—has now become a phenomenon that more and more claim to have experienced. Few have the depth of memory and detail as Tony Rodrigues. This is an account of what is being hidden from us and just how far they have gone without us. Deep in our souls, we know the truth is stranger than fiction. We also know there has to be more to life that the sanitized get-up-and-go-to-work routine we've all be offered. Within these pages is a glimpse of a reality beyond your wildest imagination.Tony Rodrigues is a self-proclaimed normal guy living in a small town with his family, two dogs, and cat. In 2019, the activist Adrian Hong led a daring raid on North Korea's Embassy in Madrid, stealing hard drives and documents and apparently assaulting embassy staff. Initial news reports suggested that Free Joseon, Hong's human rights activist group that advocates for overthrowing the Kim regime in Pyongyang, was behind the raid. But it soon became clear that it was far more complex than a simple smash-and-grab, possibly even involving the CIA and a fake kidnapping attempt. In his new book, “The Rebel and the Kingdom,” Bradley Hope attempts to unpack the events of that February day by focusing on the ringleader himself. And he joins the NK News podcast this week to discuss his findings — from Hong's upbringing and background in DPRK human rights to how he put together Free Joseon and the continuing fallout from the Madrid raid. Hope also touches on the plight of Christopher Ahn, the daring escape of Kim Jong Un's nephew from Macau and more. Bradley Hope is an award-winning author based in London. He is the New York Times bestselling co-author of “Billion Dollar Whale” (2018) and “Blood and Oil” (2020). About the podcast: The North Korea News Podcast is a weekly podcast hosted by Jacco Zwetsloot (@JaccoZed) exclusively for NK News, covering all things DPRK — from news to extended interviews with leading experts and analysts in the field, along with insight from our very own journalists.
Hey Brendan! I'm in the southern hemisphere here, how much vo2 per week is required for getting peak fitness during summer? I'm riding 10-12 hrs per week since September and do 2 60min crits a week and usually another vo2 session as well but feel the quality isn't there yet for efforts over 3mins, if I try more vo2 I end up too fatigued though. Could you link your best vid I can follow up with ++++++++++++++++++++ are these 2 crits on different nights?! i hope the same night, otherwise you have 3 realllly hard days, that's too much IMO. I'd drop one of the crit nights hey Ben, check out this one for different thoughts on different types of vo2 which might be helpful for you...longer doesn't have to mean harder, and quite often the opposite. You can use a hard start then ride just above threshold to hit 90% max hr and get some good vo2 adaptations that way. https://youtu.be/h2T4lVBNvMo I'd also search "vo2max" in the search box and we have a bunch of other ones that may help you out. 2 crits and 1 vo2 should be enough for summer, and change it up with different types of vo2 sessions. and re the fatigue; you might want to cycle off that 2 crit / 1 vo2 every 6-8 weeks, it definitely is fatiguing. I switch up to lactate clearance work or some thing more ftp based, then back to vo2 hard ones. hope that helps! good luck! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/evoqbike/support

He is known as the #1 Amazon Accelerator, where he helps you to crush it on Amazon. And with over $350 Million in sales then he obviously knows a thing or two about what makes this platform an amazing platform to build, scale and earn big bucks online. As he says “I've been called many things in my life (including the “Willy Wonka of Generation X”), but my favourite one is simple: the world's leading Amazon industry expert. My serial entrepreneurial career has spanned more than 30 years, and my Amazon products have outpaced Fortune 500 companies' sales on the platform, selling millions of units worldwide. Many of these multimillion dollar companies noticed, which led me to become one of the world's most sought-after Amazon experts. So where did the dots first start to join up for him as he moved through the entrepreneurial world? And when did it all make sense and things really started to escalate at a rapid speed? Well lets find out as we bring onto the show to start joining up dots with the one and only Mr Shaahin Cheyene.
Today we're joined by Joshua Broome, pastor and host of the "Counterfeit Culture" podcast, to discuss his incredible story of redemption from porn star to pastor. He shares his story, from how he got into the porn industry to finding Christ. We talk about his recruitment into the industry and his findings on the horrors within, including questions of trafficking and consent. We discuss what's really going on in the porn industry, and he explains his response to the common phrase "sex work is work." Then, we take a look at his breaking point and his returning home after leaving the industry and his struggles with hiding his past. He shares his journey of meeting his wife, becoming a father, and ultimately finding true healing in Christ. We also discuss what policies should be in place to protect us from the evils of porn. --- Timecodes: [01:45] Interview with Joshua begins [14:35] Entry into the porn industry [26:35] About the industry [34:59] Response to "sex work is work" [40:22] Joshua's breaking point [44:12] Leaving the industry [51:10] Do you struggle with the memories?
