After Kenny and Brandon speculate on when Brandon will move back into his own house after the COVID scare, they discuss Christopher Walken's performance as a cellist in a string quartet dealing with early onset Parkinson's in 'A Late Quartet'. Brandon had previously seen it and enjoyed the performances, while Kenny wrote it off as a mediocre melodrama. The conversation devolves as Kenny bringing up Brandon's "anchored bias" about his negative feelings toward Amy Adams and the film 'Heat'. Afterwards, they discuss the upcoming Walken films, including 'Jersey Boys', which sparks a discussion of Clint Eastwood's films.
After Kenny takes issue with Brandon's ability to retain information in his brain, they discuss a series of YouTube videos they've been working on in which Brandon plays a version of himself who's trying to become a self-help guru. They then talk about Walken's role in the 2012 crime-comedy 'Seven Psychopaths', agreeing that the film is one of the best examples of a crime-comedy using Walken perfectly as a quiet, eccentric-but-not-over-the-top oddball who makes a living kidnapping dogs and returning them to their owners for reward money. As Brandon begins talking about their next upcoming Walken film, 'A Late Quartet', Kenny and Brandon get into a heated argument over the differences between Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes.
The Wednesday Kenny & JT Show is underway. After Kenny recaps his Cinco de Mayo evening alone at home, we talk about some news that sports resumption could be on the horizon. The Cavs will resume very limited individual practices Friday, MLB start dates being tossed around, NASCAR and UFC will supposedly resume soon. Would you go to a sporting event without a vaccine?
After Kenny and Brandon discuss parenting techniques, feelings, and (maybe) correctly pronounce Alex Haitz's name as they pay tribute to the loyal Ronnies, they discuss Christopher Walken's role as Feng, the comical antagonist who runs a deadly ping-pong tournament in the 2007 comedy 'Balls of Fury', a performance they theorize marked the end of the "Wacky Period" of Walken's acting career. Afterwards, Brandon reads from a ranked list of Bond villains done by Esquire Magazine asking Kenny where he thought Walken's character Max Zorin in 'A View to a Kill' might be on the list, and Brandon shares some exciting news about a potential discovery of Walken's earliest acting role on a soap opera in the mid-1950s which, to this day, has never been publicly released.

After Kenny complains about being stung by a wasp, he and Brandon discuss Christopher Walken's role as the Hessian Horseman in 'Sleepy Hollow,' a role in which he had no dialogue besides "AAH!" and "Shh." After getting sidetracked talking about Johnny Depp's turbulent personal life, they are dumbfounded to hear from Walken's own admission that 'Sleepy Hollow' was the first film in which he had an on-screen kiss, a fact quickly refuted by Brandon and Kenny as they cite his romantic lead role in the series of Hallmark movies "Sarah, Plain and Tall."
After Kenny talks about one of his biggest pet peeves and Brandon describes a recent idea he had for a YouTube video, they both discuss Christopher Walken's performance in the awful, B-action movie "McBain."

In this week’s episode of The Turkey Hunter Podcast, Sally Morgan with Morgan’s Americana shares her excitement about her husband, Kenny’s, new book entitled America, Wild Turkeys, and Mongrel Dogs. Kenny Morgan passed away in 2011 after finishing the manuscript of his second book. Kenny’s vision for this book was for it to be a coffee table book that people would be proud to display in their homes. After Kenny’s passing, Sally took up the project of completing the book in Kenny’s honor, and she certainly made Kenny’s vision come to life. The book is a coffee table book full of Kenny’s turkey hunting stories, amazing photography of nature, wild turkeys, and photos from Kenny’s childhood. Listen in to the interview, and then I’m sure you will want to pick up your copy of the book while there are still some available.
