This week we have been in Scotland visiting Ollie, so we decided to take the chance to record a three person episode. To celebrate we are discussing every death that has occurred at the many Theme Parks of the UK and Ireland. Starting with a quick primer on the origin of the Theme Park we discuss both the worst disaster in UK history and the worst decade for deaths (maybe the Emo's were onto something). Also I had no opportunity to edit, so this is a rare uncut episode, a great chance to see just how unprofessional we are.Guest Hosts: Emma Heathcote & Oliver Green Hosted on Acast. This week eccentric noise/performance artist Aki Streeter sits down to discuss his many misadventures in the music scene and the history of crass humor in the Austrian rock music.
Director Darren Doane and I talk about how he got into Film Threat, the Christian music scene, and our special, creative relationship. In this episodeHave you seen those viral “biblically accurate angel” images online? They're haunting—but are they accurate? Joel Settecase dives into Isaiah 6 and Ezekiel 1 to reveal what the Bible actually says about cherubim and seraphim, the heavenly throne guardians who serve, worship, and protect the presence of God.What you'll learnWhat seraphim really are and why their name means “burning ones.”How cherubim function as divine throne guardians and attendants. Why these beings appear with wings, eyes, and even serpent imagery. What Isaiah's and Ezekiel's visions reveal about the holiness of God.How understanding the spiritual realm shapes your worldview today. Why it mattersPop culture has trivialized angels into cute mascots and sentimental symbols—but Scripture describes terrifying, majestic beings created to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. Understanding their purpose gives us a deeper grasp of God's majesty and holiness—and a renewed call to worship Him with reverence.Scripture & theology highlightsIsaiah 6:1–7 – Isaiah's vision of the Lord and the burning seraphim.Ezekiel 1 & 10 – Cherubim and the wheels within wheels under God's throne.Hebrews 1 – Angels serve the Son and worship Jesus Christ as Lord.Resources mentionedThe Think Institute Spiritual Warfare Guide: https://thethink.institute/store/p/spiritual-warfare-guideWes Huff, Biblically Accurate Angels? If these mighty beings bow before Him, how much more should we, who have been redeemed by His blood, worship Him in spirit and truth.Join the missionGet equipped, build your legacy, and join a brotherhood of Christian men through the Hammer & Anvil Society. Super7 just got the “Ultimate” Christmas present: an influx of cash that will hopefully keep the company afloat long enough to deliver that second wave of 2003 Ninja Turtles. Plus, is Mattel blurring the line of good taste, or finally giving hardcore WWE fans what they've always wanted? And don't tell Alfred, but Batman just blue himself! Hot Toys' Flash-inspired Batman in a blue cowl rears its ugly head. It's The Reluctant Adult Podcast.
