Adrian Todd Zuniga (Yes, that famous guy who started Literary Death Match) talked to us on the LITerally Podcast, and we laughed a lot! We talked about his book Collision Theory that came out 2018 after its own 13-year journey to publication. It's a great book that deserved a home and found one with a publisher who believed in it. If you're in the thick of things, this podcast is for you. It's honest and uplifting, and very funny.

It's a full house! Jody and Alison envelop author and Literary Death Match creator, Adrian Todd Zuniga, into the Cocoon to chat about his new book, "Collision Theory," his journey to becoming a bona fide novelist, and the time he HUNG OUT with Judy Blume in Miami! Then, Blume Head Cathy drops by to discuss chapters 10-11 of "Wifey," Judy's positively naughty adult novel from 1978. Sandy gets a pixie cut, argues with Norm about his asshole mother, and remembers her cringeworthy wedding night at the Kennedy Airport hotel. The girls discuss ice-filled bathtubs, firehouse sweet sixteens, New Jersey topography, 1970s racial tensions, and bad sex. It's a Judy Blume book club. We are talking first paragraphs today. What works and things to avoid. Mostly, I see a lot of bad first paragraphs. Why is this? We'll discuss and share the first paragraph of Collision Theory by Adrian Todd Zuniga. As always we are here to write more and better with the help of a writer and editor. I will also describe from top to bottom what I am doing to promote my memoir, 10,000 Miles with my Dead Father's Ashes. For more visit devingalaudet.com/dad.

A discussion by Mr. Lutz about the rates of chemical reactions and how they can be useful in chemistry.
AP Chemistry: introduction to the theory that predicts the rates of chemical reactions, particularly for gases.
The theory behind reaction rates. It is called collision theory. Very straight forward, but you need to be able to explain things using the correct words. Also join the edmodo group and complete the quiz that relates to this topic. you can also ask questions on edmodo if you are unsure of how things work. There is also link to a interesting video about a sugar factory explosion on youtube there.
When is a fatal car accident 'successful'? When used to explain reaction rates and collision theory. This may be a bit ghoulish, but comparing car collisions to particle collisions seems to work.
A brief description of the factors that control the rate of a chemical reaction. (audio)
