Margaux Murphy, the Director of The Sunday Love Project, joins Kristen in the studio to talk about her efforts to battle homelessness in Philadelphia and an upcoming music festival and fundraiser to benefit the cause. Sunday Love Project is an organization created by Margaux which serves 800 meals to the homeless and addicted each week. Join Margaux and Sunday Love Project on Sunday, July 21st from 12-5pm at Philadelphia Brewing Company for Sunday FUND-day, a benefit concert to feed the homeless. Tickets are $20 and include live music, beer and food. A five dollar reduction will be given to those who bring a donation of sunblock, electrolyte packs, a case of water or a pack of socks. Then Adam Leiter, Executive Director of the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement Districtjoins Kristen in studio to talk about the 14th Annual East Passyunk Car Show and Street Festival, South Philly's largest summer festival and block party coming up Sunday, July 28th from 11am to 4pm. Cars can register on site beginning at 8am for $20. Festival goers are encouraged to arrive after 11am. This FREE festival will feature over 200 muscle, classic, antique, custom and show cars, trucks and motorcycles – as well as a craft fair, kids activities, music, food and drink specials and shopping all along the avenue. Comedy Sportz has been performing in Philadelphia for 27 years. Catch a show every weekend at 7:30 and 10pm on Saturdays and 2pm on Sundays.
