The year is 2020. A small colony, 3 Guys and some occasional wanderers, have settled into a small, dimly lit basement in Akron, Ohio. The air is cool, the ground is wet, and the sun is settling ever so slowly into the horizon. The guys gather around their table and are set to embark on a year of recording. These very recordings shall sculpt the minds of anyone willing to listen, and impact generations for years to come. They call themselves Made To Motivate and this is Season 2! Sit back, put your feet up, and prepare to be entertained! Welcome to Season 2! Host Ryan Weiss, Co-Host Nick Mancuso, and Co-Co-Host Jesse Unk (His title request, CoCo I know, dumb! Haha SMH), joined by Dan Sandmann and Chris Kessinger in the audience, are back to entertain you! We’ve restructured the show and you’ll now have dedicated segments (timestamps included) that you can look forward to each week that you’ll soon come to recognize by the segment soundbites Ryan spent a lot of time creating! Segments:Intro Weekly Rewind (covers questions or follow ups to the previous weeks episode)Let’s Get Social (covers social media hot topics / news)Hollywood Report (discussion around new movies and music)Made To Motivate (motivational story or news)Locker Room Talk (sports discussion / play of the week)Life Hack / Tip Of The WeekPoll Position (Facebook polls we’ve posted from previous week, and listener questions)Outro Tune on in to hear the guys break down the global warming crisis and how it's currently effecting the Ice Caps and wreaking havoc on Australia. The guys give some insight on how we can work to combat these difficult times and offer suggestions on where to start small. They'll give you some insight into Adam Sandler's newest hit Uncut Gems and the awesome new Cinemark Bistro theater that just opened. Star Wars gets a fairly in depth breakdown from all the guys and they give their brutally honest opinion on one of the greatest franchises in movie history. Nick takes us on a motivational journey followed up by Jesse breaking down sports for us! A well rounded episode filled with laughs, great dialogue and ultimately ending in a fairly important tip for 2020. First up, a big thanks goes out to you guys and gals - we've crossed the 600 followers mark! Top stuff, and we can't thank you enough! It would be killer if we could hit 1000 by the time the year draws to a close, so if you dig the show, tell your friends; share on social media, all the fun stuff. 1000 followers - can we make it? We reckon we can! So, picks! Picks this week are from GUNSHIP, Zone Tripper and Jim-E Stack - all super great tunes that will be, as always, linked below, so if you like what you hear, go check out the artists catalogues. We've also been in correspondence with a certain Glenn Main. A brilliant, established synth maestro who got in contact with us with some new music in his outstretched hand. And we dug it - we dug it *a lot*. So much so, that our Intro and Outro tunes this week are both Glenn Main tunes. Seriously, check him out - impressive stuff, all round! Enjoy the show! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INTRO TUNE: "Miami Night Ride" by Glenn Main [https://soundcloud.com/glennmain/the-chase] ROBBIE's TUNE: "Cyber Dream" by Zone Tripper [https://zonetrippersynth.bandcamp.com/track/cyber-dream] RAYZA's TUNE: "Lovers Remix" by Jim-E Stack [https://soundcloud.com/jimestack/lovers-remix] TERESA's TUNE: "Dark All Day (feat. This time RD and Jay review Episode 6, titled “Mistwalker”! RD explains the fine art of arguing, Jay goes over mic check rules, and Zozo gets turned out! All of that in this supersized episode of Series 6 Podcast! Plus, there’s a wild llama on the loose. Outro Tune: Silverhawks Opening Theme
Join RD and Jay as they review Episode 5, titled “Smugglers’ Gauntlet”! Jay learns how to butter a face, RD finds a pacifism loophole, and blue Johnny Bravo makes a cameo! It’s an awesome episode with a (presumably) huge body count! Outro Tune: Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs Opening Theme
In this episode, Jay and RD review “Chained”. Jay’s mother has a religious experience, Goose goes to Annie-town, and RD’s editing choices are questioned. All this and more in the funniest Series 6 episode to date! Outro Tune: Spiral Zone Opening Theme
In this Episode, we hop on our hoverboards, get sucked up by tubes and predict our gaming future. Will anti-static flatpacked floating consoles ever be a thing in a world where E-Sports is bigger than Sky Sports and micro-transactions are a blast from the past?? Let's all try and stay alive to find out, shall we ;) We also take a look at Games with Gold for February 2016, which is a little bit nearer in our future. Small explicit warning! Outro Tune - "Tremble" by, um, Katie! Thanks for listening :)
