When we talk about breast cancer and sexual abuse, we tend to focus on the incident or the diagnosis and we don't focus on the person - the person they are and the person they become after the experience. During the process of writing the book, Ronnie Joy was diagnosed with breast cancer.  As she walked through the process of treating and recovering from breast cancer AND sharing her story of sexual abuse, she discovered a whole new aspect to the dating  world.
