It is not a new call. It is an ancient call. It is the same call that echoed through Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. It is the call to be holy. To be set apart. To belong fully to Him. The separation between light and darkness has become greater. What previous generations may have wrestled with privately is now celebrated publicly. Truth is challenged. Conviction is mocked. Compromise is normalized. The pressure to conform is increasing. But when darkness grows darker, God calls His people to shine brighter. God has never called His people to isolation. We are called to reach the lost, love people, and preach the Gospel. But He has consistently called His people not to become like the systems around them. We are in the world, but we are not of it. This is not a message of fear. This is a message of preparation. God is raising up a people who walk in holiness, boldness, discernment, and spiritual authority. The remnant must understand the significance of this hour. 1. God Calls His People to Separation 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 (NKJV) “Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty.” 2. Friendship With the World Creates Spiritual Conflict James 4:4 (NKJV) “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” 3. We Are Called to Transformation, Not Conformity Romans 12:2 (NKJV) “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” 4. God Still Calls His People to Holiness 1 Peter 1:15-16 (NKJV) “But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, ‘Be holy, for I am holy.'” 5. Darkness Is Increasing But God's People Must Shine Matthew 5:14-16 (NKJV) “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” “Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.” “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” 6. The Last Days Require Discernment 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (NKJV) “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:” “For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,”

Full Transcript Below: Dear Child of God, Come Out of Hiding By: Emily Rose Massey Bible Reading:“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9, NKJV) A few months ago, my eyes were opened to the stark reality that I was struggling with an area of my past… …the pain of rejection. This continues to be a battle for me, yet I realize that healing from the pain of rejection is a partnership with the Lord and, most definitely, a process as we learn to surrender to God. Thankfully, I am not alone in this fight in healing from my past and old ways of thinking. One thing is for sure: the Lord fights for me, and the Holy Spirit guides me into all truth, illuminating and exposing the lies I was believing that are rooted in rejection. Rejection had overwhelmed so much of my life that I wasn’t being fully honest with people in my life. The lie I believed was that I would be rejected if my sin or wrongdoing was discovered. Therefore, I chose to either keep silent or tell a lie to keep my secret hidden so that I wouldn’t be a disappointment. That lifestyle was keeping me from being fully transparent and honest with my husband and, most importantly, with God. I believe this is why 1 John 1 reminds us of the importance of confessing our sin: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9, NKJV). Intersecting Faith & Life: Hiding our sin causes us to hide from God, very similarly to Adam and Eve when the first sin entered the world- they felt ashamed, and shame made them feel rejected. Because of Jesus and the finished work of the cross, we are forever made righteous in our position as we stand before the Father and are forever forgiven, yet when we sin, it causes our fellowship with God to be hindered, and then we can very easily distance ourselves from Him and stray from His ways. God’s love toward me never changes when I sin, yet I may still experience consequences and correction for my disobedience. Repentance, as a believer, is for our benefit to keep fellowship with our Heavenly Father open and unhindered. Sin can often make our hearts grow callous, and we may become less sensitive to the conviction of the Holy Spirit. The enemy wants you either in pride, thinking you are better off doing life your own way, or in isolation, bound in a pit of depression, unable to receive love or give out love, feeling like no one loves you or cares about you, especially God. But God’s love is unconditional and perfect, and nothing can stop His pursuit of you. He wants us to be honest with Him so that we can see real transformation happen in our lives, as He conforms us into the image of His Son. Like I said above, positionally, in Christ, you stand before God forgiven and righteous, but experientially, sanctification is a process because our flesh is weak. Although as born-again believers, we continue to sin against God because we are constantly at war with our flesh in this life, the good news is that we have a great advocate, Jesus Christ, who is forever our righteousness. To be sure, our position in Him as declared righteous before God will never change, yet we are still called to confess our sin, which purifies our conscience before the Lord. Is there a particular sin that you have been struggling with? Pause and take some time to write it/them down and repent before the Lord, laying it all down at His feet. 1 John 1:9 says Jesus is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. Dear child of God, let us remember to come out of hiding and rejoice in the truth that Jesus is forever our righteousness despite our shortcomings! "The moment I received the sound file, I was pretty assured I knew exactly what I was going to do. While the words of the tribal song change, the melody alongside the call & response from the widows of the Maasai tribe of Kenya spoke to me in its repetitious, looped like fashion, and as such, I wanted to treat the file a bit like how Reich did his seminal minimalist "Come Out" (1966) composition, and as such I looped, layered, delayed, and effected layers upon layers of the widows singing, slowly introducing further layers and effects as the composition's time goes on. "It has long been my understanding that African tribal songs are rooted in a deep spiritual connection with our planet, and the cosmos, and as such, I crafted an ambient drone from the NASA Sonifications of Galaxy M94, which by absolute serendipity paired perfectly with the song of the widows. "I've added an additional Roland SH2 synth layer, a slow attack and release sub bass, and a random arp on a Yamaha DS55 Music Box patch with some effects in tow to round things out. "The idea is for the music to supplement the layered, effected, and looped song of the tribe, but to never fully take over, allowing the backdrop of our universe to be the canvas the song of the tribe is painted upon."Maasai tribal song reimagined by Akira Film Script (Ryan Watts).

Genesis – Session 7 | Come Out, Walk by Faith, and Let God Build Your Life In this session from Genesis 11–12, we move from the Tower of Babel to the call of Abram and discover a powerful contrast between human ambition and God-centered faith. The message opens with the Tower of Babel, where humanity unites to “make a name” for itself. Under Nimrod's rebellious leadership, people attempt to build a system centered on pride, control, and self-exaltation. God confuses their language—not because He fears competition, but because unified wickedness would accelerate human corruption. Babel becomes a picture of worldly systems driven by pride and independence from God. In contrast, Genesis shifts to Abram. Where Babel represents making a name for ourselves, Abram represents surrendering our name for God's purpose. God calls him to leave his country, family, and security—an act of radical obedience. Abram is not perfect, but he is willing. The call is clear: “Come out and be separate.” The sermon emphasizes that the call of God remains constant even if our assignments change. Our primary calling is not position, platform, or prominence—it is to know God. Tasks may shift across seasons, but the call to pursue Him never changes. Abram's journey shows both faith and frailty. After building altars and calling on the Lord, he faces famine and flees to Egypt in fear, even misleading Pharaoh about Sarah. Yet even in Abram's weakness, God proves Himself faithful. The Lord protects Sarah and rescues Abram from his own missteps. This demonstrates a key truth: God often allows us to face situations that stretch us so He can reveal His faithfulness and grow our faith. A major theme of the message is that God is not trying to make our names great—He is forming our faith. From Abram to the New Testament church, salvation has always been by faith. Abram looked forward to the coming Messiah; we look back to the finished work of Christ. The foundation has never been performance—it has always been trust. The session concludes with a stirring reminder: without faith it is impossible to please God. Therefore, God will continually work to grow our faith through tests, obedience, and dependence.
