CrossRoads Church Making and maturing disciples together as a family
Topical teaching by Assistant Pastor Darrell Logan of Calvary Queen Creek, AZ.
Be reminded of how valuable young people are and our need to minister - Biblically and lovingly - to them as unto The Lord; which must be in spite of how our culture tries to mislead and diminish them.

In this touching scene, Jesus welcomes little children to Himself.
We may hold dear to something that we deem very important. Maybe it has sentimental value to us, but if someone else happened upon it, they would view it as unimportant or insignificant. This was the same in Jesus' times. Many viewed children as a hindrance. Yet God, in His love and compassion, held children dear to His heart. So much so, that He even requires us as believers to be like them. But what does that look like? And how can we embrace this idea as a church?

Ever wish you could have a “do-over”? Ever find yourself wishing that you could somehow have a second chance? We’ve all had those times when we wish life would give us a mulligan and let us change some things. We’ve all been through days where we longed for the chance to tell a different story with the lives we’ve been given. Throughout Luke’s Gospel, Jesus comes into contact with people from all different walks of life. A Roman Centurion. A woman trapped in sin. A grieving widow. A rich young ruler. Yet, for all their differences, these people had one thing in common. Once they encountered Jesus, He rewrote their stories. He forever changed their lives. He can do the same for us. Jesus is more than willing to offer us a fresh start — a Rewrite to our own personal stories. All we have to do is hand Him the pen. Selected Quotes: "As Jesus loves people, we're called to love people." “Becoming childlike is remembering who you are - a child of God.” “He’s calling us to live in Him, rely on Him, and be part of something bigger than ourselves."
As our church prepared for the start of VBS, a message about the role of church and home in doing everything possible to help kids come to Jesus.

Here we see the picture of what discipleship should look like for those who believe the gospel message. In fact, it's actually from the picture of the gospel we see here that Jesus makes the application that he does. From these verses we see why we should imitate Jesus and his attitude toward children.
In this service Pastor Jimmy describes characteristics of children that believers should seek to emulate.
