We all want to be seen, thought of as beautiful, pursued, and valued. We all want to have purpose and know that we are significant. We all have certain plans as to when we want to be in a dating relationship or get married or when we want to have kids. Wanting these things is not a bad thing in and of itself but we will be left unsatisfied when we seek to meet these needs and fulfill these plans apart from the Lord. Today Bethany and Kristen from Girl Defined Ministries are joining us to talk about how it is only in the Lord that we can discover our true value and purpose, and it is only by putting our trust in Him that we can have peace when plans don't go our way. What God says and Who He is is trustworthy no matter what.

We'd say that it’s a holistic land management practice that goes beyond organic and focuses on building soil health by improving soil biodiversity and increasing soil organic matter. It also pertains to the human element of farming - At Sun+Earth, in addition to cultivation practices, we also have a Human empowerment component that focuses on workers’ rights as well as community engagement - cultivating community.

Today Bethany wraps up Season 7 of the DWITW podcast with Kasey Parr. They talk about how Rural Ohio Women in the Word began, how Kasey came to believe the Good News for herself, and how God has been faithful to use the unexpected for her good and His glory.Kasey wants to live in a world where there are no more tears, and no more pain. When she's not spending time with her wonderful husband and four amazing children, you can find her reading a good book or studying her Bible. Her Bible has really come alive to her, in the last few years, thanks to some of the tools she learned from Dayton Women in the Word. After spending time with her sisters at DWITW, God placed a desire in her heart to start a ministry in rural Ohio (Rural Ohio Women in the Word) to encourage other women in their pursuit of Jesus Christ. It is a two-fold ministry: teaching Bible study tools through Bible study and encouraging women in their walk with Jesus by hosting events that target areas with which women wrestle. As this ministry grows ROWITW hopes to provide Bible study resources, blog posts, podcasts, and whatever the Lord lays upon their team's heart to share with women. Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” is a Scripture that really encourages Kasey's heart. God gave her this verse when she was going through a very difficult season. This verse helped Kasey to walk through this challenging period. Knowing God is always with her gives Kasey great comfort. You can connect with Kasey via her personal blog, Facebook, or Instagram. She provides products, services and education for an art filled life through her business, Artful Interiors, LLC. She is in love with her husband and five children, two of whom are adopted and have unique physical, emotional and behavioral challenges.
