Wednesday's 9am hour of Mac & Cube got underway with Bill Embody, who covers SMU for On3 Sports, telling us what SMU has (besides QB) to challenge Miami in the ACC, how Jim Phillips sees the ACC in the landscape of CFB, and what to expect from the Mustangs this season; then, Cole & Greg don't like what Jim Phillips said about the new ACC conference tiebreakers; later, they guys are unsure if they're on board with Daylight Savings ending; and finally, as one listener tries to argue against ESPN's FPI, the boys set the record straight as to what it actually is. Send us Fan MailYour Emotions Aren't the Problem: Non-Attachment, Regulation & the REER FrameworkWhat if your emotions were never the problem, and you were just never taught what to do with them? In this solo episode I'm getting honest about the emotional experience, non-attachment, and how we move through our feelings instead of being run by them. We talk about why we chase dopamine hits when we're not taught to regulate, what the Blue Zones reveal about staying well, and what the Bhagavad Gita says about controlling the senses (spoiler: it's like controlling the wind). I break down the Venus into Virgo transit and the honest inventory it's asking for, why proximity and frequency matter more than information, and I share the framework I finally gave a name to: REER. For years, the personal development industry has encouraged us to become someone else. Become your future self. Act as if. Embody the version of you who already has the life you want. But what if that advice has unintentionally given your future self more authority than your present reality? In this solo episode, Kehla explores the difference between vision and reality, and why those two things shouldn't be confused. Drawing from a recent conversation, her own experience filing a consumer proposal, and years immersed in personal development, she unpacks a new way of thinking about growth: one that starts with accurately seeing your current conditions rather than trying to embody an imagined future identity. You'll hear why identity may not be the starting point of transformation at all, but rather the result of repeatedly responding well to reality. Kehla also explores the difference between maps and territory, why discernment is one of the most underrated skills in business and life, and the simple question that has fundamentally changed how she makes decisions. If you've ever felt exhausted trying to "become" the next version of yourself, this episode offers a different lens—one that invites you to stop consulting an imagined future and start responding to the reality that's already in front of you. We draw a hard line between healing as a tool and healing as an identity, because awareness is meant to return us to life, not replace it. We challenge the spiritual ego, the addiction to “becoming,” and the way self-help can turn into avoidance when the real goal is freedom, presence, and embodied living. • healing as a bridge rather than a destination • how making healing your identity keeps you stuck • the spiritual ego using meditation and modalities to avoid • being vs becoming and why appreciation matters • presence, embodiment, and “nowness” as the real practice • why healing just to manifest becomes another high • permission to love fully and risk heartbreak again • choosing love and humanity in conflict and daily life • a real story of responding to a car break-in with compassion "Then come on inside of the DG Mindset Academy where this is the energy that has been draped all within it... Get your butt in there."If you're ready to stop consuming information and start creating real transformation, the DG Mindset Academy is where the work happens. Welcome to Part 7 of the Walk Into the Biggest Quantum Jump of Your Life Guided Walking Meditation series. During our walks, you've awakened to the destination that was calling you, picked up the reins, released what was no longer meant to travel with you, rebuilt trust, harnessed your power, and learned how to steer with intention. Now you've arrived at the final stage of the journey: Embody. Because there comes a point in every transformation where you have to stop preparing for your next level and begin living as the person capable of creating it. Many people spend years waiting to feel ready. Waiting for proof. Waiting for certainty. Waiting for permission. But lasting transformation happens when identity changes first. The external results often arrive later. In this guided quantum walking journey, you'll reconnect with the version of yourself you've been becoming throughout this journey. You'll explore what it means to embody a new identity, strengthen your connection to your future self, and experience the powerful shift that occurs when the Fire Horse and the jockey begin moving as one. Because the biggest quantum jump isn't the moment your life changes. It's the moment you do. Congratulations on completing Day 7 of our master series. Over the last week, you have made a non-negotiable commitment to your inner sovereignty, completely rewriting your body's relationship to stress and overthinking. You have done an absolutely extraordinary job sticking with this journey—remember that the sanctuary you built this week travels with you into every room you walk into tomorrow. Welcome to Day 7—the grand finale of our master series, Pranayama: Cultivating and Controlling Your Life Force Energy. Tonight, our final developmental arc is Embody. In this closing session, we explore the ultimate pinnacle of spiritual science from Paramahansa Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi—revealing how advanced masters transition from temporarily practicing peace to permanently embodying an unshakeable cosmic baseline right in the middle of a demanding, high-velocity lifestyle. Tonight, we execute the crowning protocol of our week: The Sovereign Sushumna Breath. By combining central spinal respiration with the wisdom-locking Gyan Mudra, you actively leverage neural plasticity to permanently rewrite your default stress settings. This deep biological integration shifts your brain into sustained delta-wave sleep, seals your energetic boundaries, and ensures you awaken completely anchored on your inner throne of sovereign power. Turn off the noise of the world for the final time this week, claim your absolute crown, and drop into deep, cellular immortality. In This Episode, You'll Discover: The Unshaken Marketplace: What Yogananda learned from Sri Yukteswar about maintaining a permanent state of inner sovereignty while managing complex worldly realities. The Neuroscience of Permanent Embodiment: How a seven-day somatic protocol leverages neuroplasticity to structurally alter your brain chemistry and heal chronic adrenal fatigue. The Sovereign Sushumna Protocol: A step-by-step guided bedtime integration to permanently lock in your new baseline of unshakeable, symmetrical peace. A Message for Your Heart "My dear friend, we have walked a magnificent path together over these last seven days. I have watched you intentionally pause in the middle of your massive vision, put down the heavy tools of your daily schedule, and fiercely protect your inner sanctuary. You have shown up for your nervous system with so much grace and dedication. As we close this series tonight, I want you to remember that the deep well of stillness you cultivated this week does not belong to the cushion—it belongs to you. You are not a fragile boat being tossed around by the velocity of your life; you are the unshakeable ocean itself. You are fully capable, deeply resilient, and entirely sovereign over your space. Carry this diamond shield into your tomorrow, but tonight, let yourself be completely held by the baseline of peace you have so beautifully earned. I am so incredibly proud of you. Sleep deeply." With love, Mary This is day 7 of a 7-day meditation series, "Somatic Energy Mastery," episodes 2529-3535. THIS WEEK'S MEDITATION JOURNEY YOUR WEEKLY CHALLENGE: "The Adrenaline Alchemist"

What separates a leader people want to follow from one they're quietly escaping? Mark Miller, longtime Chick-fil-A executive and co-author of the bestselling book The Secret: What Great Leaders Know and Do, joins Brandon Laws to unpack the timeless leadership framework he helped develop over 25 years of research. With more than 700,000 copies sold and now in its fourth edition, The Secret has reached leaders in 32 languages because it's built on something most leadership books skip entirely: the character beneath the skills. In this conversation, Mark walks through the SERVE framework, a behaviorally grounded model built on five fundamentals: See the future, Engage and develop others, Reinvent continuously, Value results and relationships, and Embody the heart of a leader. He and Brandon dig into why character is the overlooked "turbocharger" of effective leadership, how most leaders learn by trial and error (and why that fails them), and why the best leaders never stop reinventing themselves. Whether you're a seasoned executive or a new leader trying to find your footing, this episode is packed with practical, proven insight you won't want to miss. This is a behind-the-scenes bonus episode — a real, unedited session from inside my Top 1% Club mastermind. The theme? The Death of the Old Man. Before you can build the 2.0 version of yourself, you have to dismantle the beliefs, habits, and false narratives that belong to the version you are outgrowing. You cannot build a future on a condemned foundation. And most men are trying to do exactly that. In this session, I take my clients through one of the most powerful frameworks we use — and they get raw and honest about the outdated beliefs that have been holding them back. Inside this session: •Why new growth is impossible in a crowded room — and what you need to clear out first •The three vines of your old identity: beliefs, habits, and false narratives •Real examples from the group: "I'm not good enough for a relationship," "I need to sort my shit out," and "Who am I to have this success?" •Why imposter syndrome is stopping men from pushing their businesses forward — even when the product is exceptional •The toxic habit of sacrificing your health for one more hour of work •Why men isolate when things get hard — and why that is the worst thing you can do •Reacting with anger instead of leading with intent — and how to break the cycle •The Evolve, Execute, Embody framework in action — live, with real men doing the work This is what real transformation looks like. Not a highlight reel. Not a motivational speech. Men in a room, doing the work. If you want to be part of conversations like this and build the next version of yourself over the next six months, find out more here: https://consulting.boardmanjames.com/6monthmission Let's get to work.
A new wave of healers. Have you noticed? Not the ones who can quote every chakra and recite manifestation techniques like AI bot. I'm talking about the ones who've actually walked through to the other side of shadow work. Who know what it costs… not in theory, but in the body, in the bank account, in the losses of relationships that didn't survive. These healers aren't typical. They didn't rush their shit. They were in the depths - constricting and contracting over and over again. They didn't build a brand around their awakening before the dust even settled. They sat in the wreckage long enough to actually integrate what broke them open and that takes time most people aren't willing to give it. This is a different kind of healer. One who isn't performing transformation, but embodying it. An activator. Living life. One who isn't selling you a shortcut, because they know there isn't one. If that's you, you've done the work in the dark, alone, with no audience and no applause. You're diving deeper with every step. It's time to EMBODY it. ▲ 1:1 Private Mentorship: https://www.alwaysplay.org/dive ▲ Flows Over Flaws: Creative Perfectionism Masterclass: https://www.alwaysplay.org/flows-over-flaws ▲ Become a certified breathwork facilitator: https://www.flowbreathworktraining.com/ ▲ Learn your Healer Archetype: https://www.alwaysplay.org/healerarchetype ▲ Read my Breathwork book, Breathe: https://www.alwaysplay.org/orderbreathe ▲ Free Playground for Mystics: https://tinyurl.com/playground222 ▲ Connect on social: @shanila.sattar ▲ YouTube: / shanilasattar

You are never going to reach a point where everything is figured out. There is no finish line. There is no moment where life suddenly clicks into place and you feel ready. The men who win are not the ones who have it all figured out. They are the ones who keep evolving. In this episode, inspired by a real conversation with my son and two of my clients in the same week, I break down the Evolve, Execute, Embody framework — and why misalignment between who you are and how you are living is the root cause of most men's unhappiness. Inside this episode: •Why my son went from down in the dumps to running a 5k — in one evening •The Evolve, Execute, Embody cycle and why most men get stuck before they even start •Why "I'll start Monday" is the most dangerous sentence in a man's vocabulary •How misalignment creates friction, unhappiness, and stalled progress •My four identity keywords — peace, simplicity, contentment, calm — and why my career was the opposite •Why chasing a seven or eight-figure business is not the goal for everyone — and the freedom in admitting that •How to identify your own identity pillars and build a life that is actually aligned to them •Why becoming the man you want to be is the most dangerous and powerful place you can be Stop waiting. Start evolving. Book a call to start building your aligned life: https://link.coachmatic.app/widget/bookings/coaching-call-with-jt Let's get to work.

Tonight marks the completion of our first week together. Over the past six days, we've explored awareness, letting go, acceptance, trust, compassion, and balance. These aren't simply ideas to understand—they are experiences to embody. In tonight's meditation, we'll reflect on the journey you've already taken and explore the theme of embodiment: allowing wisdom to move from the mind into the body and heart. You'll discover why neuroscience suggests lasting change happens through repetition and experience rather than insight alone, learn an ancient teaching about living wisdom rather than collecting it, and hear a relatable story about someone who spent years searching for peace before realizing it had been within them all along. As your body relaxes and your thoughts settle, you'll be invited to stop striving for growth and simply become the calm you've been practicing. Perfect for: Overthinking at bedtime Anxiety and mental restlessness Reflecting on personal growth Deep relaxation and restorative sleep Ending the week with peace and gratitude A DAILY MESSAGE FOR YOUR HEART Dear Friend, Tonight marks one week of showing up for yourself. Before anything else, I hope you'll pause for a moment and acknowledge that. So often we focus on how far we still have to go that we forget to honor how far we've already come. Over the past week, you've practiced awareness, letting go, acceptance, trust, compassion, and balance. Maybe some nights felt easier than others. Maybe your mind still wandered. Maybe sleep didn't come as quickly as you hoped. That's okay. Growth rarely happens in dramatic moments. More often, it happens quietly—in the small choices we make again and again. The choice to return to our breath. The choice to be gentle with ourselves. The choice to keep showing up. Tonight isn't about learning something new. It's about recognizing what is already growing within you. You don't need to become someone different to find peace. You simply need to trust what you're already becoming. I'm grateful you've shared this journey with me. And I'm so glad you're here. With love, Mary This is day 7 of a 7-day meditation series, "Sleep Meditations to Stop Overthinking," episodes 3521-3527. THIS WEEK'S MEDITATION JOURNEY A Seven-Day Journey into Rest, Release, and Inner Calm When the day grows quiet, the mind can become surprisingly loud. This seven-day guided sleep meditation series is designed to help you gently step out of repetitive thinking, release the mental weight of the day, and create a more peaceful transition into sleep. Each evening introduces a different calming practice, including visualization, affirmations, slow breathing, mudra, chakra meditation, layered relaxation, and a Yoga Nidra–inspired weekly review. Together, these practices guide you through a soothing emotional journey: Release. Rest. Ground. Protect. Nurture. Balance. Embody. Throughout the series, you'll explore a blend of modern mindfulness, gentle nervous-system support, ancient yogic wisdom, reflective storytelling, and compassionate encouragement. This is not about forcing your mind to become blank or making sleep happen on command. It is about changing the way you relate to your thoughts—learning to notice them without following every one, softening the urge to solve everything at night, and allowing your body to remember how to rest. Over the course of the week, you'll be invited to: Release unfinished thoughts and worries Give yourself permission to rest Ground your awareness in the breath and body Create a sense of emotional safety at bedtime Meet overthinking with compassion instead of criticism Bring multiple calming practices together Reflect on what helps you feel most peaceful and supported Each episode also includes a daily reflection question and a supportive Message for Your Heart to help you carry the practice beyond the meditation. You do not need to finish every thought tonight. You do not need to solve tomorrow before it arrives. Let this series become a gentle evening ritual—a place to set down the day, quiet the mind, and return to yourself. Press play, settle into a comfortable position, and begin your seven-day journey toward deeper rest and a calmer relationship with your thoughts. I invite you to consider the gentle middle path between effort and surrender. Many of us carry the weight of unfinished tasks, unanswered questions, and endless mental to-do lists into bed. But sleep does not arrive through more effort. It arrives when we allow ourselves to rest in balance. In this episode, you'll discover a fascinating insight from neuroscience about the brain's nighttime processing systems, learn an ancient wisdom teaching about the importance of rhythm and moderation, and hear a relatable story about someone learning that not every problem needs to be solved before sleep. As your body softens and your mind quiets, you'll be guided into a peaceful state where balance replaces striving, allowing sleep to come naturally. Perfect for: Racing thoughts at bedtime Anxiety and overthinking Difficulty letting go of unfinished tasks Deep relaxation and restful sleep A DAILY MESSAGE FOR YOUR HEART Dear Friend, As we arrive at Day 6 of our journey together, I want to remind you of something important: You do not have to carry everything. So many of us believe that if we think a little harder, plan a little better, or stay awake a little longer, we'll finally find peace. But peace isn't found by doing more. Sometimes it's found by allowing ourselves to stop. Tonight's theme is balance. Balance isn't having everything figured out. It's knowing when to set things down and trust that tomorrow is another day. If your heart feels heavy tonight, give yourself permission to release the pressure to solve every problem before sleep. The unfinished tasks can wait. The unanswered questions can wait. You have done enough for today. You deserve rest, not because everything is complete, but because you are human. As you listen tonight, may you find the balance between effort and surrender, between doing and simply being. I'm so glad you're here. Place a hand over your heart. It's time to be gentle with yourself as you turn in for the evening. Visualize a soft green or rose-colored light, and respond to worried thoughts with warmth instead of criticism. You'll also hear an approachable explanation of self-compassion, ancient yogic wisdom connected to the heart center, and a relatable story about setting down the need to remain constantly on watch. Tonight's practice is not about forcing the mind to become silent. It is about reassuring the part of you that has been working so hard to protect you. Let this meditation help you soften emotional tension, feel more supported within yourself, and prepare for peaceful rest. Tonight's reflection question: What might my overthinking be trying to protect me from, and what reassurance does that part of me need tonight? Daily Message for Your Heart "I want to remind you that you are not doing anything wrong because your mind feels busy. Sometimes overthinking is simply a tired part of you trying to feel safe. Tonight, meet that part with kindness instead of criticism. Place a hand over your heart and gently say: "I am here with you. You do not have to keep watch. We can rest now." You do not need every answer tonight. You are doing the best you can, and you are worthy of rest exactly as you are." Midweek Milestone Note: Look at how far you have come since Day 1. In just a few short days, you have actively retrained your nervous system to step out of survival mode and find its footing. Hitting the middle of the week is often when external demands peak, making tonight's practice the perfect opportunity to witness your own growth and resilience. You are doing an incredible job sticking with this commitment to your inner peace—keep going. Are you arriving at bedtime feeling completely depleted, over-stimulated, or emotionally exhausted from absorbing the stress of your environment? Tonight, our developmental arc is Protect. In this session, we explore the somatic neuroscience of energy conservation and sensory overload—revealing how high-stress days create subconscious tension loops in the lower abdomen that block deep sleep. Tonight, we introduce a high-performance physical seal: the Shakti Mudra. By closing specific nerve circuits in your fingers and directing your focus to your core, you actively signal your nervous system to drop its armor, halt cortisol production, and build an unshakeable boundary around your sleep. Turn down the volume of the world, lock your protective seal, and drop into deep, restorative rest. In This Episode, You'll Discover: The Porous Nervous System: The biological reason why high-achievers absorb environmental anxiety and hit a wall of nighttime sensory burnout. The Shakti Mudra Protocol: Step-by-step instructions on how to use this hand seal to soothe the pelvic plexus and trigger a parasympathetic shift. Somatic Shielding: A guided bedtime integration to help you stop over-functioning for the world and reclaim your absolute sovereignty over the night. A Message for Your Heart "I know how deeply you care for everything and everyone in your orbit. You are constantly holding up a massive vision, managing complex timelines, and anchoring the spaces you occupy. Because your heart is so big, it is incredibly easy to let the chaotic energy of the outside world bleed into your personal sanctuary when the lights go out. Tonight, I want to remind you that protecting your peace is not selfish—it is an act of supreme inner sovereignty. You cannot serve from an empty well, and you do not have to be a sponge for the stress of the world to be successful. By holding the Shakti Mudra tonight, you are safely sealing your borders and declaring that your rest is non-negotiable. Step back into your own power. You are doing an extraordinary job." Throughout the series, you'll explore a blend of modern mindfulness, gentle nervous-system support, ancient yogic wisdom, reflective storytelling, and compassionate encouragement. Episode 09: How to Become Unrecognisable & Embody Your New IdentityThis episode is about how to become completely unrecognisable and embody your new identity. In this episode, we explore:— Letting go of who you were (“die to the old man”)— A new reality and new experiences require a total new way of being— Installing a new identity operating system— Continuing to be the old you = creating the same experiences and patterns— 6 steps to become unrecognisable
Are you lying awake with an overactive mind, feeling completely untethered by the stress and demands of your week? Tonight, our developmental arc is Ground. In this session, we break down the clinical neurobiology of somatic grounding—exploring how high-velocity lifestyles trap our breathing patterns in the upper chest, sending a continuous loop of false danger signals directly to the brain stem. Tonight, we deploy a highly effective, immediate physical intervention: the 4-6 Grounding Breath for 10 continuous rounds. By precisely extending your exhalations, you actively engage the vagal brake to slow your pulse, clear adrenaline, and anchor your awareness deep into the physical mattress beneath you. Turn down the volume of the world, settle into your body, and drop effortlessly into deep, unshakeable sleep. In This Episode, You'll Discover: The Upper-Chest Danger Loop: How shallow, rapid breathing keeps your body stuck in a sympathetic adrenaline loop even when you are physically exhausted. The Mechanics of the Vagal Brake: The exact science of how a 4-second inhale paired with a 6-second exhale floods your system with calming neurotransmitters. The 10-Round Somatic Anchor: A guided bedtime breathwork progression to lower your internal center of gravity, dissolve muscle bracing, and stop nighttime overthinking. A Message for Your Heart "The noise and acceleration of a busy week can pull you out of your own center. When you are steering a major vision and managing endless logistics, it can feel like your mind is spinning a thousand miles an hour even when the lights go out. Tonight, I want to remind you that you are the deep-rooted tree, not the leaves swirling in the wind. You do not have to carry today's burdens into tomorrow's dreams. By dedicating these ten rounds of breath to your own grounding, you are claiming your sovereignty over the night. You are telling the world: 'I am here, I am safe, and I am choosing to rest.' Let the heavy weight of your own body remind you of your absolute resilience tonight. You are doing an extraordinary job." Turn off the screen, let your shoulders sink into the mattress, and claim your absolute right to nighttime peace. Are you struggling to fall asleep because your mind refuses to shut down? Do you lie awake scrolling through tomorrow's to-do lists, rewriting emails, or cycling through background anxiety? Welcome to Day 2 of our master sleep series, Sleep Meditations to Stop Overthinking. Tonight, our developmental arc is Rest. In this session, we dive into the neuro-somatic science of nighttime hyper-arousal—exploring exactly why a high-velocity lifestyle keeps your brain locked in a frantic "fight-or-flight" loop even when you are physically exhausted. In This Episode, You'll Discover: The Neurobiology of a Racing Mind: Why managing a heavy daily workload causes nocturnal hyper-arousal, making it impossible to transition into deep sleep. The River of Peace Visualization: A highly effective somatic tool to help you decouple from persistent thoughts and watch mental clutter drift away naturally. A Daily Message for Your Heart You may be constantly balancing an incredible mountain of moving parts, steering a large vision, and anchoring the spaces you occupy. Because you carry so much responsibility, your mind naturally wants to keep working overtime, treating your pillow like a boardroom. Tonight, I want to remind you that your productivity is done for the day, and your worth is not measured by how much you carry. You do not have to finish tomorrow's tasks tonight to deserve an absolute sanctuary of rest. You are allowed to take your hands completely off the wheel. Let the affirmation 'At night, I release the day and return to peace' act as a soft, protective shield around your spirit as you sleep. The world can wait. You are safe to let go now. You are doing an extraordinary job." This is day 2 of a 7-day meditation series, "Sleep Meditations to Stop Overthinking," episodes 3521-3527. Quiet a busy mind and gently release the day with this guided sleep meditation for overthinking. In Day 1 of this seven-day sleep meditation series, you'll begin with the emotional theme of release. Through a calming river visualization, you'll practice noticing thoughts without becoming caught in them, allowing worries, unfinished tasks, and mental tension to drift away. This soothing bedtime meditation also explores the ancient yogic principle of aparigraha, or non-grasping, along with the idea that clarity can emerge when we stop trying to solve everything at once. You do not need to finish every thought tonight. Let this meditation help you slow down, soften your grip on the day, and prepare your body and mind for peaceful rest. Tonight's reflection question: What thought, responsibility, or unanswered question am I willing to set down for tonight? Daily Message for Your Heart: "You do not have to carry every thought to its conclusion tonight. You do not have to solve tomorrow before it arrives, replay what has already happened, or hold yourself responsible for every possible outcome. Some things become clearer when you stop reaching for an answer. Some feelings soften when you give them space. And some burdens become lighter when you allow yourself to set them down, even temporarily. Releasing does not mean that you no longer care. It means you trust yourself enough to pause. You can return to what matters tomorrow with a rested mind, a steadier body, and a more open heart. For tonight, let unfinished things remain unfinished." I have often felt like talking about self love can feel frustrating and confusion. What does loving oneself actually mean and look like? Early in my twenties, I think I thought self love looked and felt like self discipline. I went to yoga and meditated almost every day, I was strict with myself on what and when I would eat, I went to bed early and woke up early. From the outside, it looked like I deeply loved myself through how I cared for myself but that it not the way it felt. I felt trapped, depressed, and disconnected. My routine wasn't bringing me joy or love, it brought short term safety. And that bubble would burst if I did anything outside of that routine where I would then be so cruel with myself. Self love may show up as an act, but now I experience it as a felt sense. It feels like a warmth, a closeness, and an appreciation of my body for all that it does and navigates every day.In this week's episode, I chat with Lulu Essey, Speaker, Mindset Advisor, and host of The Lulu Essey Podcast , about: Understanding the difference between self love and self careThe practice of staying with yourself in all emotions, sensations, and reactionsNavigating discomfortThe role of safety in self loveThe courage to face inner struggles and the importance of asking for supportYou can also read the transcript to this week's episode here: https://www.stephaniemara.com/blog/what-self-love-really-is-and-how-to-embody-it-every-dayHope you enjoy this week's episode and talk to you more soon! Who can you become if you dropped your made up limitations? In this episode, Marli is diving deep into your made rules of self-limitation. How often do we put ourselves into a limited, comfortable, predictable box and call it... "This is just who I am." Whether you realize it or not, you have rules about what you think you can handle, what you like, and what you have decided you will or won't do and its unconsciously capping your own expansion... and therefore the life you get to live. But transformation and growth doesn't happen inside the comfort zone. It happens the moment you willingly cross it.Tune in as we explore:How to identify the invisible "identity boxes" and rules you've built around your life and business. The power of doing the exact thing you once said you never would do, and how it instantly shatters your limitations. Why getting uncomfortable is the fast track to identity expansion and unlocking the next level of your life.Marli shares her own story of stepping completely out of her own element, and the profound realization that she had on the other side. It's time to stop letting your past definitions dictate your future capacity. Who could you become if you finally dropped the rules?

Send us Fan MailWhat does it take to build a leadership culture that scales across generations, industries, and millions of customer interactions? In this powerful conversation, Chris Comeaux sits down with Mark Miller — former Vice President of High Performance Leadership at Chick-fil-A and bestselling author of The Secret — to explore the principles behind extraordinary leadership. From his humble beginnings as an hourly team member to helping shape Chick-fil-A's leadership development strategy, Mark shares hard-earned wisdom about influence, intentionality, and what truly drives organizational growth. Throughout the episode, Mark unpacks the foundational leadership framework behind the acronym SERVE: See the Future, Engage and Develop Others, Reinvent Continuously, Value Results and Relationships, and Embody the Values. He explains why leadership is ultimately about service — not position — and why organizations that fail to intentionally develop leaders will eventually plateau. Chris and Mark also discuss the tension between results and relationships, the importance of creating a common definition of leadership, and how healthcare, hospice, and nonprofit leaders can prepare for the future by multiplying leadership capacity throughout their organizations. For leaders navigating complexity, growth, or organizational transformation, this episode offers practical insight and timeless leadership principles from one of the most respected leadership voices connected to the Chick-fil-A legacy. Send us a Positive Review!Series Title: Religion IS Political [Part IV of VII]In this episode Val & Nathan continue to build a case that it is impossible for religious systems to be "neutral" on political issues. They explore how society evolves as religions & political systems engage in the dance of shaping and being shaped by one another and how in every era brave individuals lead out in inviting social change & can come from either spiritual realm as both politics & religions confront how to dignify human life. They also talk about how some churches lead the charge of social justice (confronting longstanding dominator hierarchies) and some churches are society's great "feet draggers" (defending dominator hierarchies). Why the feet-dragging? And why do the "feet draggers" often finally begrudgingly jump on the enlightenment train? In this episode, Michael welcomes Aycee Brown. Aycee is a psychic medium, astrologer, spiritual guide, teacher, and the host of the popular podcast Is My Aura On Straight?. Through her work, she helps people break free from inherited identities, trauma patterns, and limiting beliefs so they can live fully expressed, intuitive, and aligned lives. Aycee's book, Embody Your Magic , offers practical tools for healing, self-discovery, and stepping into your true power. Conversation Highlights Include: -Growing up with intuitive gifts and how early validation created a sense of safety, even when the outside world didn't understand. -A grounded definition of "embodying your magic" as living fully, meaningfully, and making an impact in everyday interactions. -Finding joy, presence, and connection in simple moments, and why those experiences are more powerful than they seem. -Why healing requires action, not just understanding, and how doing the work creates real transformation. -The "canyon" as a metaphor for shadow work, and why going deeper—not avoiding pain—is where true healing begins. -How uncovering your origin story brings clarity, validation, and the ability to finally release what was never yours. -Seeing generational and ancestral patterns as a through line that can be understood, interrupted, and transformed. -Reframing painful experiences in a way that frees you from shame, abandonment, and inherited emotional weight. -Understanding intuition as a natural ability that returns as you heal, clear emotional blocks, and reconnect with yourself. -Moving from survival into a life of intention, joy, and expansion by taking small, consistent steps forward. Next, a closing meditation guided by Michael invites stillness, awareness of the breath, and a deeper connection to your True nature.
