Wavepunk is a Rocket League commentator and Twitch Rivals host. We talk about getting into the world of variety hosting, and how the Rocket League community and casting continues to grow.* This was actually episode 30 but I edited the videos in the wrong order, oops. In this episode WavePunk from the RLCS casting desk joins me to talk some Rocket League. Wave was really open to answering some questions about where he lacks with his gameplay and we talk about some ways that he might be able to solve those issues. He also shows a great story about putting down the controller and not touching the game for two weeks straight... just from one interaction! find Wave here: http://www.twitter.com/wavepunkrl http://www.twitch.tv/wavepunk You can find me at the usual spots: http://www.twitter.com/iwantedjusttom http://www.youtube.com/c/iwantedjusttom http://www.twitch.tv/iwantedjusttom --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/infiniteboost/message
On the 12th January, Lawler's RLCS contract was unexpectedly and unfairly not renewed for Season 9. We spoke to him about that decision from Psyonix, and had the first ever uncensored interview from someone on the inside. We also read Axeltoss' first ever statement about his dismissal a couple of seasons ago.
On May 1st, it was officially announced that Epic Games have acquired Psyonix. Not just Rocket League, the whole damn company. We got everyone's favourite chirpy Rocket League Pro on, Doomsee, who gave us his thoughts and feelings on the deal. We also read comments from Twitter and Reddit and gave our (less kind) thoughts on them.
Week 1 of RLCS Season 7 starts this weekend, so who better to talk fixtures through with than good friend and knowledgeable Scotsman Johnnyboi_i. We pick his brains about who wins each match up, if Mousesports will be as poor as Stumpy is imagining, and whether this season of the Championship Series should shake the formula up.
The fellas get their teeth into more topics than they have knowledge of, covering intense topics such as the sheer amount of Rocket League news in March, why they're off to Vegas (then L.A!) soon, why Wavepunk is officially (unofficially) the best and a well thought out review of Ricky Gervais' "After Life".
