Stone examines historical accounts, eyewitness testimony, and cultural beliefs to consider whether hauntings stem from emotional attachment, unfinished business, environmental imprinting, or consciousness-based connections. His work focuses on the relationship between the living and reported spirit presences, encouraging thoughtful discussion about memory, place, and the enduring mysteries surrounding reported afterlife interactions.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-x-zone-radio-tv-show--1078348/support.Please note that all XZBN radio and/or television shows are Copyright © REL-MAR McConnell Meda Company, Niagara, Ontario, Canada – www.rel-mar.com. In this episode of Biographers in Conversation, Francesca Wade chats with Dr Gabriella Kelly-Davies about Gertrude Stein: An Afterlife. Here's what you'll discover in this episode: Gertrude Stein: An Afterlife was sparked by Francesca's access to previously unpublished Leon Katz interview transcripts with Alice B. Toklas, revealing how Gertrude Stein deliberately constructed her public persona and how Toklas spent 20 years stewarding Stein's posthumous legacy as instructed by Stein's will. Francesca challenges the conventional biographical form by structuring the narrative in two parts: first telling Stein's life story as she presented it, then interrogating and deepening that account through posthumous archival discoveries, dramatising how biographical knowledge is constructed rather than simply discovered. Francesca deliberately exposes the archival ‘workings' behind biography, showing how Yale archivist Donald Gallup's negotiations with Toklas over burning love letters and sealing documents shaped what future generations could know about Stein's life and her relationships. The central enigma Francesca explores is Stein's binary reputation: celebrated as either a radical modernist writer or merely a personality symbolising 1920s Paris bohemia. This tension frustrated Stein in her lifetime and continues to complicate her literary legacy. Francesca concludes that biography is fundamentally an artificial and odd enterprise of converting life's messiness into linear narrative, with every sentence representing a decision shaped by the biographer's attitudes and biases. This makes biographical practice itself worthy of interrogation and experimentation

Have you been feeling an unexplained anxiety, a low-grade tension, or a sadness with no clear source? Do you feel perpetually “on alert,” emotionally raw, or disconnected from joy even when your personal life seems stable? You are not broken, and you are not alone. In this episode of Infinite Life, Infinite Wisdom, Susan Grau addresses the palpable yet often nameless weight so many are carrying. This isn't about politics or prediction. It's a compassionate exploration of what it means to be a sensitive, perceptive human when the collective consciousness itself feels dysregulated.Susan explains how widespread grief, fear, and unresolved trauma create an atmosphere of “ambient suffering” that our nervous systems, especially those of empaths, healers, and caregivers, cannot help but absorb. This leads to symptoms like chronic anxiety, irritability, emotional numbness, brain fog, and exhausting mental loops as our systems search for closure and safety that the external world cannot provide.Moving beyond spiritual bypassing, Susan offers a practical and somatic path back to yourself. She reframes anxiety not as a thought problem, but as a nervous system signal. She redefines confusion not as incompetence, but as the necessary “space between stories” when old maps no longer fit. The core of healing, she reveals, lies in one vital shift, moving from the question “Is this story true?” to “Is this story regulating my nervous system?”This episode is a gentle, firm guide to empowerment through inner authority. It's about learning to discern what energy is yours to carry and what belongs to the collective, and how to release the latter without guilt. Susan provides actionable anchors, like pausing your internal narrative, regulating your body, and shrinking your timeframe to the present moment, to help you reclaim your grounding, your peace, and your power. In This Episode:[00:00] Introduction [01:24] Collective emotional overwhelm[02:38] Dysregulation and self-regulation[03:38] Ambient suffering and emotional reactivity[06:12] Nervous system and collective stress[07:27] Symptoms of overload and disconnection[08:24] Anxiety: body vs. mind[10:30] Confusion as a developmental stage[12:40] The stories we tell ourselves[14:50] Survival stories and letting go[16:58] Regulating the nervous system[19:01] Empowerment without bypassing[20:17] Personal vs. collective anxiety[22:36] Grounding and sensation of safety[24:06] Returning to self: practical solutions[25:42] The limits of control and self-relationship[28:55] ConclusionNotable Quotes[01:19] "Nothing's wrong with you. And I don't mean that in a motivational way. I mean it in a psychological way. In an emotional way."[02:59] "We don't need to bury our heads in the sand... But how do we self-regulate so that we can handle what's going on?"[08:19] "Our nervous system needs closure, and when it doesn't have it, it plays a loop in our brains."[11:21] "Confusion is the space between the stories."[11:38] "The old map no longer fits, but the new map hasn't been drawn yet."[16:27] "A thought can feel absolutely true and still not be truth."[21:38] "You are not meant to metabolize the entire world. You are allowed to release what does not belong to you."[22:43] "Safety is not an idea. It's a sensation."[19:01] "Empowerment doesn't have to be loud.."[29:02] "The only control you have is over you. And that is the scariest comment, isn't it?"[30:08] "Don't run from fear. Shake hands with it, face it and look it in the eye."Susan GrauSusan Grau is an internationally celebrated intuitive life coach, a key opinion leader, author, medium and speaker, who discovered her ability to communicate with the spirit world after a near-death experience at age four. Ep 54 - Paranormal explorations of Drugs and Demonic Influence, Negative Near Death Experiences (NDEs), & the megalithic underground structure at Khara Khora.Welcome to episode 54 of The Paranormal Rundown! We have a small crew this time, just Vic, David, and Randy, but we have some wide ranging discussion! We consider the possibility of drugs and alcohol creating a vulnerability to Demonic Influence, Negative Near Death Experiences, AI and the components of Consciousness, and finish with a trip to Khara Khora, an ancient underground structure made with massive megalithic stones. Along the way we explore Evidence of an Afterlife, Purgatory and Limbo, Reincarnation and the Veil of Forgetfulness, Exploding Head Syndrome, the Animist View of Spirits of Objects, the Brain as a Receiver of Consciousness, the discoveries below the Giza Plateau, and much more. We even take on a detailed analysis of the voices Vic hears in his head at bedtime! We also would like to apologize for the delay getting the episode out this week. Vic was going to try to make this our first video episode, but alas, Adobe had other ideas. Needless to say, we have been besieged by a series of technical gremlins! We promise to do our very best to make it up to you next episode, where we will have return guest Sylvia Shults, what a treat! The poll on Spotify this week is about how many topics you think should Vic bring up when he spins the wheel. In this episode I'm talking to Dr. Nicolas Rouleau, Ph.D. about his Essay An Immortal Stream of Consciousness: The scientific evidence for the survival of consciousness after permanent bodily death. This Essay was a Bigelow Institute for Consciousness Studies Essay Competition WinnerIs experience possible after death? "An immortal stream of consciousness: The scientific evidence for the survival of consciousness after permanent bodily death" was the title of Nicolas Rouleau's award-winning 2021 submission for the Bigelow Institute for Consciousness Studies' international essay competition. Adapted here as a short book, the essay describes a transmissive theory of consciousness inspired by William James and supported by experimental evidence in the field of bioelectromagnetism including the works of the author (Rouleau) and his former doctoral mentor, Michael A. Persinger. It is one of few scientific theories that reconciles physicalism with survival of consciousness after bodily death.BioDr. Nicolas Rouleau is a neuroscientist, bioengineer, and Assistant Professor of Health Sciences at Wilfrid Laurier University. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Tufts University and Affiliate Scientist at the Allen Discovery Center at Tufts. Dr. Rouleau was the last PhD student of Michael Persinger of Laurentian University, whose work on the electromagnetic bases of consciousness inspired Rouleau to pursue his dissertation on the material-like properties of brain tissues, including their capacity to filter electromagnetic fields. In 2017, he joined the Allen Discovery Center at Tufts University as a Postdoctoral Researcher and was a founding member of David Kaplan's Initiative for Neural Science, Disease, & Engineering at Tufts, focusing on minimal cognitive responses in bioengineered brain models. As a post-doc, Dr. Rouleau published several 3D tissue models of Alzheimer's Disease and traumatic brain injury. During the research freeze of the COVID pandemic, he wrote an award-winning essay on the topic of transmissive consciousness for the Bigelow Institute of Consciousness Studies, which garnered international attention. In 2023, Dr. Rouleau became a faculty member at Laurier and is now a PI of the Self-Organizing Units Lab (SOUL), which is supported by Tri-Council awards to investigate the mechanisms of embodied cognition and synthetic biological intelligences in customizable, bioengineered neural tissues. He also co-directs (with his colleague, Dr. Murugan) the Center for Tissue Plasticity and Biophysics (TPAB) at Laurier. Jennifer and I are getting ready to film a segment at Beyond Belief about all the research regarding Amelia Earhart - so I pulled this file from three years ago to demonstrate that every time Amelia Earhart shows up - she's outside of time as we understand it. Can answer questions about her path and journey - even when I repeat the same questions years apart. For thos familiar with the book SHE WAS NEVER LOST: THE AMELIA EARHART SAGA - it was 40 years ago when I started researching her life and journey. It was 30 years ago when I tried to direct a feature film with my friend Rebecca Broussard, who could have been her twin at the time. Film director Phillip Noyce was going to produce - but for whatever reason, it didn't get off the runway. However, the story kept coming back to me in various ways - and finally I decided to put together all the research, including a trip to Saipan in 2013 where I found 15 new eyewitnesses to her story - including US Marines who found her Electra on Aslito airfield, who guarded it, watched it test flown and then watched as the military decided to "get it out of the way." And earlier version of the govt covering something up and then pretending for decades that they didn't find it - didn't fly it - didn't recover her briefcase with her passports, maps and charts. She was never "lost" - the US knew where she was, but because they learned it via the secret codes of the Japanese, they couldn't reveal that they knew. The Japanese knew where she was - and was likely hoping to use her in some fashion, but never got to. So Jennifer and I are going to talk about her on Gaia, on the Beyond Belief show - and go over the two aspects of getting this story told - the details of forensic research, as well as the details from the Flipside - some of the more incredible clues that she put in front of us to tell her story in a way that's never been told before. The sound is a little screwy - I was on the road at the time we did this podcast, so apologies to those who are tuning in on the car radio - but it is what it is. Thanks for tuning in!

In this episode I am talking about an inportant element of the Near Death Experience, the life review. Why do stories of near-death experiences (NDEs) continue to captivate scientists, philosophers, clinicians, and spiritual seekers alike? And why does one element of these experiences, the life review, seem to linger so powerfully in the public imagination? The reported “life review,” is where people describe a panoramic encounter with their own lives. Across decades of research, these accounts have raised profound questions about memory, identity, empathy, and the nature of consciousness itself. This episode is for anyone fascinated by big questions: What shapes our sense of self? How do our actions ripple through the lives of others? And how might experiences at the edge of life reshape the way we understand death, ethics, and human connection?Whether you're drawn to the science of altered states, the philosophy of consciousness, or the personal stories that emerge from NDE research, this conversation invites you to reflect on why the life review continues to resonate so deeply in contemporary culture. If you're interested in near-death experiences, consciousness research, end-of-life psychology, or the deeper meaning of human relationships, this episode offers a thoughtful space to explore why the life review has become one of the most discussed—and most debated—aspects of NDEs today. https://www.pastliveshypnosis.co.uk/https://www.patreon.com/ourparanormalafterlifeMy book 'Verified Near Death Experiences' https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DXKRGDFP Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Thanks to everyone who sent in condolences on my recent death from prostate cancer at age 68, but that was Scott Adams. I (Scott Alexander) am still alive1. Still, the condolences are appreciated. Scott Adams was a surprisingly big part of my life. I may be the only person to have read every Dilbert book before graduating elementary school. For some reason, 10-year-old-Scott found Adams' stories of time-wasting meetings and pointy-haired bosses hilarious. No doubt some of the attraction came from a more-than-passing resemblance between Dilbert's nameless corporation and the California public school system. We're all inmates in prisons with different names. But it would be insufficiently ambitious to stop there. Adams' comics were about the nerd experience. About being cleverer than everyone else, not just in the sense of being high IQ, but in the sense of being the only sane man in a crazy world where everyone else spends their days listening to overpaid consultants drone on about mission statements instead of doing anything useful. There's an arc in Dilbert where the boss disappears for a few weeks and the engineers get to manage their own time. Productivity shoots up. Morale soars. They invent warp drives and time machines. Then the boss returns, and they're back to being chronically behind schedule and over budget. This is the nerd outlook in a nutshell: if I ran the circus, there'd be some changes around here. Yet the other half of the nerd experience is: for some reason this never works. Dilbert and his brilliant co-workers are stuck watching from their cubicles while their idiot boss racks in bonuses and accolades. If humor, like religion, is an opiate of the masses, then Adams is masterfully unsubtle about what type of wound his art is trying to numb. This is the basic engine of Dilbert: everyone is rewarded in exact inverse proportion to their virtue. Dilbert and Alice are brilliant and hard-working, so they get crumbs. Wally is brilliant but lazy, so he at least enjoys a fool's paradise of endless coffee and donuts while his co-workers clean up his messes. The P.H.B. is neither smart nor industrious, so he is forever on top, reaping the rewards of everyone else's toil. Dogbert, an inveterate scammer with a passing resemblance to various trickster deities, makes out best of all. The repressed object at the bottom of the nerd subconscious, the thing too scary to view except through humor, is that you're smarter than everyone else, but for some reason it isn't working. Somehow all that stuff about small talk and sportsball and drinking makes them stronger than you. No equation can tell you why. Your best-laid plans turn to dust at a single glint of Chad's perfectly-white teeth. Lesser lights may distance themselves from their art, but Adams radiated contempt for such surrender. He lived his whole life as a series of Dilbert strips. Gather them into one of his signature compendia, and the title would be Dilbert Achieves Self Awareness And Realizes That If He's So Smart Then He Ought To Be Able To Become The Pointy-Haired Boss, Devotes His Whole Life To This Effort, Achieves About 50% Success, Ends Up In An Uncanny Valley Where He Has Neither The Virtues Of The Honest Engineer Nor Truly Those Of The Slick Consultant, Then Dies Of Cancer Right When His Character Arc Starts To Get Interesting. If your reaction is "I would absolutely buy that book", then keep reading, but expect some detours. https://www.astralcodexten.com/p/the-dilbert-afterlife

https://m.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?sid=tindogpodcast&_pgn=1&isRefine=true&_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l49496 Did Blake's death really mean the end of the fight against the evil forces of the Federation? Was the vulnerable thief Vila killed – or just wounded? What happened to the computer Orac? Would the scheming Servalan regain her old powerbase? And what of Avon himself, the unbeatable, unpredictable paranoid who had ended it all? Afterlife is Tony Attwood's brilliant continuation of the Blake's 7 story. ecorded on: May 2025 Recorded at: Home Studio Producer Peter Anghelides said: "When we released the audiobook of Paul Darrow's prequel novel Avon: A Terrible Aspect, we knew we wanted to do the same with Tony Attwood's Afterlife, because it's the other original novel from the time of the TV series that bookends the whole of Blake's 7. ""The book was first published by Target Books in 1984 – appropriately enough, a year that's long associated in literature with a dystopian world ruled over by a dictatorial leader. Four decades later, we are revisiting that world of a faceless bureaucracy cruelly directed by an uncaring supreme commander. "Following directly on from the explosive TV finale, Afterlife reveals not only the consequences for our heroes from Scorpio, but also what happened to the character most significantly absent from that story – Servalan herself. Now fans can hear these startling events brilliantly read by the familiar voice of Alistair Lock in this brand-new reading." Alistair Lock said: "This is like a wide-screen version of Blake's 7. Avon, Vila and Servalan are such iconic characters, and I've relished being able to bring them to life in this audio recording of Tony Attwood's novel. ""I've had great fun acting in audios for Big Finish set during the original stories, so it's a bit of a treat now to work on an audiobook that is set after the events of the TV series." At over seven hours long, the Big Finish audio production is a splendid tour de force by Alistair Lock, who gives each character their own voice, with passable impersonations of Avon's nasal sneer and, of course Orac's irascible tones, familiar from Lock's previous Big Finish audios... Mark Plastow's cover art has captured Avon's wary, thoughtful, appraising expression, which is so much a part of his character. It sets the tone for the whole story. Horizon (blakes7online.com)
Join Sandra for one of the most unique and inspiring interviews in the history of We Don't Die Radio. Rosemary Musachio was born with cerebral palsy and is non-verbal, meaning she has never spoken a word in the traditional sense. This week I'm talking to Kimberly Clark Sharp about her book 'AFTER THE LIGHT: What I Discovered on the Other Side of Life That Can Change Your World' and her part in the Maria's shoe case.Death is nothing to fear-and life without fear can be lived to the fullest. This is Kimberly Clark Sharp's message from her extraordinary experience during the time after her heart suddenly stopped beating and she lay on the sidewalk, not breathing, and without a pulse. Swept into a peaceful loving place of brilliant golden light and warm comfort, she saw, for the first time, the meaning of life-and death. Thereafter, Kimberly, with hamster Toto at her side, left Kansas for Seattle-known as "the Emerald City"-to fulfill a destiny devoted to the service of others as foreseen at the end of her near-death experience. Guided by a new sensitivity to the presence of angels, demons and other invisibilities, Kimberly attained a Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Washington and began a career in medical social work that put her in direct contact with dying people-and people who almost died and came back. It is the inspirational stories of these near-death experiences, as well as Kimberly's own life challenges in love, family life and the diagnosis of breast cancer, that form the core of this surprisingly funny page-turner of a book.BioKimberly Clark Sharp, MSW, LiCSW had a near-death experience at twenty-two. She is the author of After the Light: The Spiritual Path to Purpose (Wm. Morrow & Co. 1995); audio (HarperCollins 1995). Kimberly Clark Sharp is the founder of Seattle International Association of Near-Death Studies, the world's oldest and largest support group for near death experiencers, since 1982. "I was in a wheelchair, told I would never walk again... and then the blinking started." Join Sandra for a very interesting interview with Kimberly Meredith, one of the world's most documented Medical Intuitives. After two devastating accidents left her with a broken body and in a wheelchair, Kimberly experienced a profound spiritual awakening. She returned with a miraculous ability: her eyes began to blink in rapid "codes" that allow her to scan the human body faster than an MRI to detect illness and emotional blockages. But this isn't just a spiritual story—it is a scientific one. Kimberly's abilities have been rigorously tested and validated by the famed Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) and neurosurgeon Dr. Norm Shealy, proving that the "Scalar Energy" she channels is real. In this episode, Kimberly opens up about the personal tragedies that fuel her mission—including the loss of her brother and her father's suicide—and explains how we can all access the "5th Dimension" to heal our own bodies. In this episode: * The Accident: How a near-death event unlocked her "blinking" abilities. * The Science: Being tested by Dr. Norm Shealy and the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). * The "Scan": How Kimberly sees inside the body (X-ray vision). * The 5th Dimension: Moving from the 3rd Dimension of fear to the 5th Dimension of miracles. * Scalar Energy: Understanding the "Tesla" energy that heals. * Personal Grief: Kimberly shares the heartbreaking loss of her father and brother. Jennifer Shaffer is a medium/intuitive who works with members of law enforcement nationwide, including agents from the FBI, NYPD and LAPD. We met ten years ago and began a conversation that has continued undaunted onto this podcast. I'm a filmmaker, author who has written 13 books about the afterlife, Jennifer and I met up ten years ago and have been meeting weekly ever since. We have four books together BACKSTAGE PASS TO THE FLIPSIDE 1, 2, 3 and TUNING INTO THE AFTERLIFE. Jennifer has been instrumental in helping me to get information from people offstage - including #AmeliaEarhart and the book #SheWasNeverLost - the Amelia Earhart saga. In today's podcast we talk to someone that Jennifer didn't know when he was on the planet, but has met and works with members of his family. In our podcast, he refers to someone who saw him many years ago - someone whom I knew who worked with him. Upon further reflection, I'm not sure if he was referring to my friend or not - but either way, I knew who Jennifer was referring to. Steve wanted to speak about AI - and argue that it's not something to fear but something that will enhance the ability of people to think at a faster rate. We talked about the value and pitfalls of that - and he's arguing that people can use it as a tool that it's meant to be used as. I asked some questions about #Parkinsons (and the show "Shrinking which had an episode about it) as well as my old USC professor the late Coleman Hough who had Parkinsons and appears in the film HACKING THE AFTERLIFE where it vanishes during her six hour interview. We talked about how that is or why that happened, and then talk about the idea that "filters on the brain" (see Dr. Greysons book AFTER pg 125 or DIVINE COUNCILS IN THE AFTERLIFE for a discussion of the research into filters on the brain) might be something to examine, look into as science tries to cure Parkinsons. We reiterate we're asking questions, not giving any medical advice - not medical advice is implied or suggested or given. However, when talking about the brain and the research involved with looking for "filters on the brain" and how it is that Jennifer's brain is in a "delta state" during her sessions (as proven by MRI's that she has done on camera, and the same results were demonstrated via Dr. Drew and Tyler Henry's MRIs.) That people who do this kind of mediumship MAY BE stepping past those filters - and that doing so on a daily basis may help or heal parts of the brain. That's the general discussion and we do these discussions to inspire people to do their own. Hope this helps.
In this episode, we step gently into the quiet, intimate world of shared death experiences, those rare and deeply human moments when the boundary between the living and the dying seems to soften, and something meaningful is perceived in the space between them. These experiences are not about spectacle or drama. They are about presence, stillness, and connection. They happen in hospital rooms, bedrooms, war zones, and quiet homes, often unnoticed by the outside world, yet profoundly life-changing for those who witness them.We explore what it means when a person who is not dying finds themselves sharing in the transition of someone who is. Sometimes this comes as a feeling of peace, sometimes as light, sometimes as a presence, and sometimes simply as a deep knowing that something sacred is taking place. These are not stories told to impress or persuade, but stories told because they stay with people for the rest of their lives. The episode touches on the remarkable account of Karl Skala, a soldier in the First World War, who witnessed something profoundly gentle and luminous while sitting beside a dying comrade in the midst of battlefield chaos. It also explores modern testimonies from families, carers, and loved ones who describe sensing a shared crossing at the moment of death, moments that feel less like loss and more like accompaniment. There is also a personal reflection on individual named accounts of shared death experiences, including stories of people who felt themselves drawn into the transition of a loved one without being physically unwell themselves. These accounts are spoken of not as beliefs to be argued, but as experiences to be listened to with care and respect. This episode offers space rather than conclusions. It does not seek to define death, explain it away, or contain it within tidy language. Instead, it allows these experiences to speak for themselves, as human moments of connection, intimacy, and meaning. It is an episode for listening slowly, for sitting with the mystery rather than solving it, and for remembering that some of the most important things we encounter in life are not loud, dramatic, or visible, but subtle, gentle, and deeply personal. https://www.pastliveshypnosis.co.uk/https://www.patreon.com/ourparanormalafterlifeMy book 'Verified Near Death Experiences' https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DXKRGDFP Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Was I unfair to the ECT position? In Part 5 of our series on what the Bible says about hell, we return to one of the most debated doctrines in Christian theology: Eternal Conscious Torment (ECT).In earlier sessions, I critically examined the biblical evidence commonly cited in support of ECT. In this livestream, I revisit that material with fresh eyes and cover one aspect of the position I have not yet addressed, "weeping and gnashing of teeth." We also revisit the Parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man in light of some in-house pushback we received from last week's episode. What the Bible Actually Says About Hell, Part 5. That You May Know Him, Episode 285.
Governments have spent millions researching what Darius J Wright can do: consciously leave his body and access verifiable non-physical realities. In this episode, Darius explains how out-of-body experiences work, what he's seen beyond death, and how we can all tap into this innate ability. We explore true freedom, soul awareness, and shocking truths buried for centuries... Align Podcast Episode #579 OUR GUEST Governments have spent millions in classified programs researching what Darius can do on command: full, conscious separation of the soul from the body, with real-time, verifiable observation of non-physical reality. This isn't theory, belief, or remote viewing. It's a repeatable, teachable experience of what most of the world has only speculated about. It is accessing where we go after we die, the "other side"—and from there, witnessing the truth of "this" reality. However, Out-of-Body Experience (OBE) is just the beginning. What Darius brings goes far beyond altered states. He holds the core knowledge humanity has forgotten: who we are, where we come from, why we are here, why the world appears broken, and how we are restoring it and ourselves. In a world addicted to diagnosis, Darius is holding the solutions. Over the last few years, he's taught thousands how to reach these states, document their experiences, and reconnect to the part of themselves that institutions—religious, scientific, military, and governmental—have worked to suppress. A priest walking home alone heard an army approaching and hid behind the trees. When he looked out, he saw women bouncing on saddles of red-hot nails and dead knights riding in black fire.IN THIS EPISODE: On January 1st, 1091, an army of the dead came to Normandy. For one priest, it would be a night that he would never forget. (The Medieval Walking Dead) *** Despite what we are led to believe from movies and television, cemeteries, graveyards, and churchyards, are actually quite peaceful places with no reason to be haunted anymore than any other plot of land. They are, in fact, meant to be resting places – not restless places. Repton Village chuchyard in Derbyshire apparently never received that memo. (The Ghosts of Repton) *** Office romances are nothing new. Sadly, neither is sexual harassment in the work place. And apparently in the 1800s, a forty-something boss could try to seduce a 15-year-old worker. And if you guessed that didn't turn out well for anyone, you'd be right. (A Weight of Grief) *** Men, admired and emulated Camille Flammarion, and many a woman swooned over him. Which is kind of an odd thing if you think about it – seeing as the man was consumed by thoughts of death. (The Mystery of Death) *** What is it like after we die? Is there life after death? And can science ever get onboard with the idea despite testable evidence?
