"I was in a wheelchair, told I would never walk again... and then the blinking started." Join Sandra for a very interesting interview with Kimberly Meredith, one of the world's most documented Medical Intuitives. After two devastating accidents left her with a broken body and in a wheelchair, Kimberly experienced a profound spiritual awakening. She returned with a miraculous ability: her eyes began to blink in rapid "codes" that allow her to scan the human body faster than an MRI to detect illness and emotional blockages. But this isn't just a spiritual story—it is a scientific one. Kimberly's abilities have been rigorously tested and validated by the famed Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) and neurosurgeon Dr. Norm Shealy, proving that the "Scalar Energy" she channels is real. In this episode, Kimberly opens up about the personal tragedies that fuel her mission—including the loss of her brother and her father's suicide—and explains how we can all access the "5th Dimension" to heal our own bodies. In this episode: * The Accident: How a near-death event unlocked her "blinking" abilities. * The Science: Being tested by Dr. Norm Shealy and the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). * The "Scan": How Kimberly sees inside the body (X-ray vision). * The 5th Dimension: Moving from the 3rd Dimension of fear to the 5th Dimension of miracles. * Scalar Energy: Understanding the "Tesla" energy that heals. * Personal Grief: Kimberly shares the heartbreaking loss of her father and brother. Jennifer Shaffer is a medium/intuitive who works with members of law enforcement nationwide, including agents from the FBI, NYPD and LAPD. We met ten years ago and began a conversation that has continued undaunted onto this podcast.   I'm a filmmaker, author who has written 13 books about the afterlife, Jennifer and I met up ten years ago and have been meeting weekly ever since.  We have four books together BACKSTAGE PASS TO THE FLIPSIDE 1, 2, 3 and TUNING INTO THE AFTERLIFE. Jennifer has been instrumental in helping me to get information from people offstage - including #AmeliaEarhart and the book #SheWasNeverLost - the Amelia Earhart saga. In today's podcast we talk to someone that Jennifer didn't know when he was on the planet, but has met and works with members of his family.  In our podcast, he refers to someone who saw him many years ago - someone whom I knew who worked with him.   Upon further reflection, I'm not sure if he was referring to my friend or not - but either way, I knew who Jennifer was referring to.  Steve wanted to speak about AI - and argue that it's not something to fear but something that will enhance the ability of people to think at a faster rate. We talked about the value and pitfalls of that - and he's arguing that people can use it as a tool that it's meant to be used as.   I asked some questions about #Parkinsons (and the show "Shrinking which had an episode about it) as well as my old USC professor the late Coleman Hough who had Parkinsons and appears in the film HACKING THE AFTERLIFE where it vanishes during her six hour interview. We talked about how that is or why that happened, and then talk about the idea that "filters on the brain" (see Dr. Greysons book AFTER pg 125 or DIVINE COUNCILS IN THE AFTERLIFE for a discussion of the research into filters on the brain) might be something to examine, look into as science tries to cure Parkinsons. We reiterate we're asking questions, not giving any medical advice - not medical advice is implied or suggested or given.  However, when talking about the brain and the research involved with looking for "filters on the brain" and how it is that Jennifer's brain is in a "delta state" during her sessions (as proven by MRI's that she has done on camera, and the same results were demonstrated via Dr. Drew and Tyler Henry's MRIs.)  That people who do this kind of mediumship MAY BE stepping past those filters - and that doing so on a daily basis may help or heal parts of the brain. That's the general discussion and we do these discussions to inspire people to do their own. Hope this helps.

In this episode, we step gently into the quiet, intimate world of shared death experiences, those rare and deeply human moments when the boundary between the living and the dying seems to soften, and something meaningful is perceived in the space between them. These experiences are not about spectacle or drama. They are about presence, stillness, and connection. They happen in hospital rooms, bedrooms, war zones, and quiet homes, often unnoticed by the outside world, yet profoundly life-changing for those who witness them.We explore what it means when a person who is not dying finds themselves sharing in the transition of someone who is. Sometimes this comes as a feeling of peace, sometimes as light, sometimes as a presence, and sometimes simply as a deep knowing that something sacred is taking place. These are not stories told to impress or persuade, but stories told because they stay with people for the rest of their lives. The episode touches on the remarkable account of Karl Skala, a soldier in the First World War, who witnessed something profoundly gentle and luminous while sitting beside a dying comrade in the midst of battlefield chaos. It also explores modern testimonies from families, carers, and loved ones who describe sensing a shared crossing at the moment of death, moments that feel less like loss and more like accompaniment. There is also a personal reflection on individual named accounts of shared death experiences, including stories of people who felt themselves drawn into the transition of a loved one without being physically unwell themselves. These accounts are spoken of not as beliefs to be argued, but as experiences to be listened to with care and respect. This episode offers space rather than conclusions. It does not seek to define death, explain it away, or contain it within tidy language. Instead, it allows these experiences to speak for themselves, as human moments of connection, intimacy, and meaning. It is an episode for listening slowly, for sitting with the mystery rather than solving it, and for remembering that some of the most important things we encounter in life are not loud, dramatic, or visible, but subtle, gentle, and deeply personal. https://www.pastliveshypnosis.co.uk/https://www.patreon.com/ourparanormalafterlifeMy book 'Verified Near Death Experiences' https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DXKRGDFP Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. We explore true freedom, soul awareness, and shocking truths buried for centuries... Align Podcast Episode #579 OUR GUEST Governments have spent millions in classified programs researching what Darius can do on command: full, conscious separation of the soul from the body, with real-time, verifiable observation of non-physical reality. This isn't theory, belief, or remote viewing. It's a repeatable, teachable experience of what most of the world has only speculated about. It is accessing where we go after we die, the "other side"—and from there, witnessing the truth of "this" reality. However, Out-of-Body Experience (OBE) is just the beginning. What Darius brings goes far beyond altered states. He holds the core knowledge humanity has forgotten: who we are, where we come from, why we are here, why the world appears broken, and how we are restoring it and ourselves. In a world addicted to diagnosis, Darius is holding the solutions. Over the last few years, he's taught thousands how to reach these states, document their experiences, and reconnect to the part of themselves that institutions—religious, scientific, military, and governmental—have worked to suppress. What if you could speak to your deceased loved ones one more time? What if grief didn't have to mean letting go?What if you could speak to your deceased loved ones one more time? What if grief didn't have to mean letting go?For over twenty years, Dr. Irene Blinston has guided grieving individuals through a remarkable healing process using an ancient Greek ritual adapted for modern use. In this groundbreaking book, she reveals the power of the psychomanteum, a darkened chamber designed to facilitate contact with the deceased-and its profound ability to reduce the symptoms of grief.Drawing from landmark research at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, Dr. Blinston shares compelling case studies of participants who experienced dramatic reductions in grief symptoms after just three hours using the psychomanteum process. Whether or not they made "contact" with their loved ones, 92 out of 100 participants reported lasting healing.Gazing into the Afterlife explores:• The history and science behind mirror-gazing and limited sensory stimuli for grief healing• Detailed protocols for the psychomanteum process, from preparation through integration• Moving accounts of transformative encounters including visual, auditory, and deeply emotional• Applications beyond grief due to death, including trauma, loss of identity, and life transitions• The crucial role of trained facilitators in creating safe, sacred healing spacesThis isn't about proving life after death. It's about discovering a pathway to peace and healing. The research shows that the psychomanteum helps the bereaved maintain healthy continuing bonds with the deceased while moving forward with their lives. From sudden deaths and complicated grief to ambiguous loss and disenfranchised grief, this innovative approach offers hope where traditional methods fall short.Whether you're a mental health professional interested in new tools for grief work, a bereaved individual looking for healing, or simply curious about consciousness and human potential, this book provides both scientific rigor and compassionate guidance. Dr. Blinston's unique combination of research expertise, facilitator experience, and personal transformation makes this an essential resource for understanding grief in the 21st century. The psychomanteum isn't magic-it's a carefully structured process that creates space for what the grieving heart most needs: connection, expression, and peace.Discover how this ancient practice, backed by modern research, is transforming grief work and offering relief to those who carry the weight of loss.BioIrene Blinston is an independent researcher who studies the impact and aftereffects of supernatural and paranormal experiences, with special interest in encounter experiences. Did you know that gaslighting doesn't only happen in romantic relationships, but can show up in families, friendships, workplaces, spiritual spaces, and even inside your own mind long after the other person is gone?In this episode of Infinite Life, Infinite Wisdom, Susan Grau talks honestly about gaslighting, not as a buzzword, but as something that slowly teaches you to doubt yourself. Your memory. Your feelings. Your intuition. Drawing from her own experience and the work she's done with clients, Susan explains how gaslighting can leave you disconnected from your body, unsure of your truth, and constantly questioning whether you were right or wrong. She shares why the impact of gaslighting often continues long after the relationship or situation has ended, and why that ongoing self-doubt isn't a flaw. It's a survival response. Susan also talks about what healing really looks like, and it's not dramatic or confrontational. It's quiet and reparative. Learning to believe in yourself again. Reducing contact with invalidating energy. Setting clearer boundaries. Letting yourself rest, pause, and be silent without guilt. This episode is a gentle reminder that if you were gaslit, you were not weak. You were trusting, open, and human. Healing begins when you stop looking to others for closure and start choosing yourself, even when it feels uncomfortable. In This Episode:[00:00] Introduction [01:30] Gaslighting beyond romantic relationships[02:46] Defining gaslighting and its effects[04:02] Common phrases and accountability avoidance[05:22] Impact on intuition and self-trust[06:44] Personal experience and disconnection[08:57] Overriding intuition and survival response[10:10] Self-abandonment and explaining pain[11:12] Avoiding invalidating people and relearning self-care[12:18] Reparative self-care and trusting yourself[13:33] Physical responses and recognizing gaslighting[14:37] Slowing down and silence without guilt[15:49] Setting boundaries and reducing exposure[17:46] Distance as protection, not punishment[18:42] Self-love as loyalty and choosing peace[19:47] Why people stay and the role of hope[22:02] Healing feels quieter and rooted[23:13] Freedom from needing admission[24:34] The loop: replaying conversations[25:33] Closure comes from within[26:40] Breaking the loop and nervous system repair[27:47] Longer gaps and present-moment healing[28:53] Self-love means releasing the need for clarity[29:30] Conclusion Notable Quotes[03:26] “You stop asking, ‘Is this okay?' And start asking, ‘Am I okay for feeling this?'”[04:58] “Most gaslighting comes from people who cannot tolerate accountability.”[08:45] “Gaslighting separates you from your inner knowing.”[11:22] “You weren't too much. You were too aware for someone who needed control.”[12:09] “Self-care isn't a bubble bath. It's relearning how to listen to yourself without apology.”[13:24] “Your experience is valid because you lived it.”[19:15] “I choose peace over being right.”[21:18] “Staying doesn't mean you were weak. It means you were human.”[21:39] “Leaving is not a failure. It's wisdom arriving.”[25:53] “The same person who distorted your reality cannot be the one who restores it.”[27:47] “Some chapters do not end with understanding. They end with self-respect.”[28:42] “My peace does not require permission.”Susan GrauSusan Grau is an internationally celebrated intuitive life coach, a key opinion leader, author, medium and speaker, who discovered her ability to communicate with the spirit world after a near-death experience at age four. A priest walking home alone heard an army approaching and hid behind the trees. When he looked out, he saw women bouncing on saddles of red-hot nails and dead knights riding in black fire.IN THIS EPISODE: On January 1st, 1091, an army of the dead came to Normandy. For one priest, it would be a night that he would never forget. (The Medieval Walking Dead) *** Despite what we are led to believe from movies and television, cemeteries, graveyards, and churchyards, are actually quite peaceful places with no reason to be haunted anymore than any other plot of land. They are, in fact, meant to be resting places – not restless places. Repton Village chuchyard in Derbyshire apparently never received that memo. (The Ghosts of Repton) *** Office romances are nothing new. Sadly, neither is sexual harassment in the work place. And apparently in the 1800s, a forty-something boss could try to seduce a 15-year-old worker. And if you guessed that didn't turn out well for anyone, you'd be right. (A Weight of Grief) *** Men, admired and emulated Camille Flammarion, and many a woman swooned over him. Which is kind of an odd thing if you think about it – seeing as the man was consumed by thoughts of death. (The Mystery of Death) *** What is it like after we die? Is there life after death? And can science ever get onboard with the idea despite testable evidence? This week I'm talking to Irene Blinston about her book 'Gazing into the Afterlife: Unlocking the Mystery of the Psychomanteum for Healing Grief in All Its Forms'What if you could speak to your deceased loved ones one more time? She earned her PhD in transpersonal psychology with specializations in spiritual guidance, creative expression, and transpersonal education and research. While still a student, Dr. Blinston was recognized as a rising figure in the field of transpersonal psychology. She conducted her doctoral dissertation research studying the impact and life-long aftereffects of religious apparitions experienced in childhood. She was also part of the psychomanteum bereavement project, in which participants were facilitated to make contact with their deceased loved ones in order to reduce grief symptoms. She is also a professional astrologer, Human Design for Business and Profit Potential Analyst, and is certified in a variety of money and business coaching models. PLANE OF ELYSIUM - The Only Afterlife with HOA-Free River Property

    The RPGBOT.Podcast

Welcome back to the RPGBOT.Podcast, where today we're talking about Plane of Elysium—the one afterlife that sounds so good the Dungeon Master has to invent mechanics to stop you from moving there permanently. It's paradise. Your needs are met. You're at peace. You're happy. Too happy. In fact, if you stay too long, you might fail a Wisdom save and decide adventuring, heroism, and saving the multiverse are overrated compared to eternal riverfront property and a Mai Tai. And if that sounds suspiciously like quitting D&D to live in a gated community called "Ecstasy," don't worry—we'll explain why enforced happiness, dragon shift-work, and a giant bone spine gate mean Elysium is still absolutely unhinged. Show Notes What Is Elysium? Elysium is the Neutral Good Outer Plane, positioned between the Beastlands and Arborea. It represents true contentment, rest, and fulfillment, rather than law, chaos, or moral absolutism. Souls here aren't punished, tested, or judged—they're finally allowed to relax. The Core Vibe No labor, no scarcity, no stress. Everything you need is provided. Happiness is genuine—unless you're in the gate town, where it absolutely is not. The Four Layers of Elysium Amoria Gentle meadows, forests, and idyllic towns along the River Oceanus. Every settlement somehow has riverfront property. Biomes get weirder the farther you travel from the river (plains, badlands, deserts… for reasons). Eronia Craggy mountains, harsh winters, rugged terrain. Heaven for dwarves, mountain folk, and anyone who thinks Colorado weather is "nice actually." Belierin (Bellerin) The prison layer of heaven, which is a sentence that should worry you. Holds legendary threats that couldn't be killed: hydras, ancient evils, fallen dukes of Hell. Access is restricted—mostly via the River Oceanus. Perfect setup for a level 20 "heaven jailbreak" campaign. Thalassia Endless ocean dotted with heroic islands. Where the best souls go—or where deities personally abduct you before you die because you're just that good. Eternal tropical vacation, sailing, fishing, and zero capitalism. The River Oceanus A holy river that flows through Elysium and beyond. Functions as a major planar highway connecting multiple Upper Planes. Also conveniently Hydra-proof. Who Lives Here? Guardinals (celestial animal-folk with extreme "Narnia energy") Moon Dogs (the best boys; CR 12; hunt evil; deserve all the treats) Phoenixes, because nobody here is trying to harvest them for profit Numerous deities, including Pelor, Lathander, and Shantaea Pathfinder vs. D&D Pathfinder does have an Elysium—but it's functionally closer to D&D's Arborea. Same name, wildly different vibes. The Gate Town: Ecstasy Located in the Outlands, connected to Elysium. Appears joyful, welcoming, and celebratory… because happiness is magically enforced. Suppressed emotions inevitably explode into violence. Ruled by twin dragons: The Lightcaller (gold dragon, daytime ruler) The Night Whisperer (silver dragon, nighttime ruler) Never seen together. Definitely suspicious. Key Locations in Ecstasy Philosopher's Court – a "safe" place to vent grievances that now regularly turns into Fight Club. Revelhome Inn – run by a Lawful Neutral medusa who turns problem guests into garden statues. The Bone Plinth – a giant spine you climb to reach the gate to Elysium, because nothing says "upper plane" like skeletal horror décor. Planar Mechanics Overwhelming Joy (Optional Rule): Fail repeated Wisdom saves and you refuse to leave Elysium. If forcibly removed, you'll do everything possible to return. Fear effects are weakened. Violence is rare—unless you're in Ecstasy, where it's scheduled. Key Takeaways Elysium is D&D's most tempting afterlife—and the one most likely to derail your campaign. It offers true happiness, not moral judgment or endless labor. The layered structure lets every character imagine their perfect heaven. Belierin quietly turns heaven into an endgame boss rush. Ecstasy proves that enforced happiness is way scarier than honest suffering. Overwhelming Joy is a brilliant narrative mechanic for testing player priorities. If your party reaches Elysium and leaves voluntarily, they are either heroes… or liars. Welcome to the RPGBOT Podcast. Trying to make sense of everything? Same. In this episode, Sarah explores the ripple effect—how everything is interconnected in the 3D world, and how that connection extends into the unseen world, too. She looks at why collective stress doesn't stay localized (climate, economies, the internet, COVID—pick your portal), why synchronicities can feel like the “matrix is thin,” and how spirit communication reminds us that relationship doesn't end when someone dies. Then Sarah shares her personal practice for anchoring the light: a grounding + “as above, so below” visualization designed to help regulate the nervous system, expand the capacity for love, and hold the field with intention—without draining personal energy. And to be clear: this isn't spiritual bypassing. Action, accountability, and engagement still matter. The question is—can it all be done from radical love instead of fear? Key Words anchoring the light, hold the field, nervous system regulation, spiritual grounding practice, intuition in chaotic times, collective consciousness, Maharishi effect, synchronicities, spirit communication, energy protection visualization, radical love not fear, Medium Curious Podcast, Sarah Sunday Solo Your nervous system is part of the medicine. Regulation increases capacity—for awareness, compassion, and effective action. Interconnection is not a concept—it's a lived reality. What happens anywhere ripples everywhere: biologically, economically, emotionally, and energetically. Fear creates separation; felt connection restores power. When we identify as separate, we become reactive. When we feel connected, we reclaim sovereignty Healing spreads the same way harm does. One regulated person can stabilize a household; one steady household can shift a community. Anchor the light without draining yourself. Pull support from earth energy below and divine light above—don't run everything on personal willpower. Action still matters. Love isn't “do nothing.” Love is the frequency you bring while you engage, organize, protect, document, and show up.   “When we're calibrated, we have the capacity for more… more awareness, more light, more compassion, more love.”   “It's not just the fact that he is communicating from the other side. It's about interconnection.”   “We need action and we need engagement… We just need to be doing it from the frequency of radical love and not fear.”   Join us on Substack for The Afterlife—bonus clips after the “mic is off” (wink). Lead Pastor Josh Carstensen starts a series on Philippians. There are passages in Scripture that don't just challenge us, they expose us. This is one of them. It confronts how we naturally think about ourselves: our instincts toward pride, and our need to measure, compare, and protect.Paul doesn't offer a self-improvement plan here. Instead, he gives us a picture of Jesus. One who didn't cling to status, but chose the downward path by humbling Himself all the way to the cross. And Paul says this is the way forward for unity, for joy, and for real change. Not by thinking better of ourselves. But by thinking less of ourselves as we fix our eyes on Christ. So let's open this text honestly, knowing we're being invited into something costly, but also something that's really good.Thank you for listening to this message from Northwest Hills Community Church in Corvallis, Oregon, on January 25, 2026, at 9:30am. As usual, another mind bending session. It begins with a visit from Kobe, who mentions some of the work that Jennifer has been doing with his family.  I asked him some questions about his observations of watching NBA players, and he says he plays an active role in terms of helping those who are open to it. He called his "council" his "line up" - the team that we all have that help us when we're navigating the stage. He said he's more likely to work with coaches than individual players. Luana then brought forward JFK jr and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy - whom we've had a brief chat with before, but this time it's a little more indepth.  Asking him what it was like to cross over to the flipside, he said he was someone who didn't know where he was for awhile.. and then his mother brought him that awareness.  I asked him some questions about his opinion of the current administration and he couldn't stop laughing. John McCain (Maverick) stopped by as JFK Jr said he was one of the people who surprised him on the other side - as it wasn't someone he'd have conversed with on the planet, but offstage they were able to talk about John's incarceration and aspects of that part of his journey.  In terms of speaking to Carolyn about who she was surprised to meet on the other side, a question I often ask people, she said she was surprised to meet with Oprah's "higher self." We only bring a portion of our conscious energy to a lifetime - based on the reports - and a larger portion of "who we are" is always "back home." So that included some unusual questions to "Oprah's higher self" about her path and journey and what advice she might give to people listening in. All of it mind bending. But it's what we've been doing for years now, and about six years on our podcast. Enjoy.

Actor and meditation teacher Jeff Kober joins Medium Curious for a wide-ranging, funny, and helpful conversation about the mystery: why trying to force “concrete truth” can make our world smaller and more painful—and how learning to live in the question can reopen hope, possibility, and compassion. Jeff shares his origin story as a “reluctant meditator,” describing the inner hell of obsessive thoughts, the surprise of discovering he's not his mind, and why spiritual practice isn't about escaping life—it's about imbuing each moment with consciousness, including grief, fear, anger, shame, and joy. Along the way - Sarah, Jane, and Jeff explore ego, “knowers,” skepticism and mediumship, creativity as a spiritual path (acting, directing, orchestral music), and what it means to be an example of love without pretending you've “got it.” The “concrete truth” trap: When someone's certainty becomes unassailable, real conversation ends—and so does growth. Live in the question: Not having the answers isn't failure; it can be the practice. Meditation creates space: Jeff describes the shift from “my thoughts are me” to “my thoughts are over there.” Ego wants safety now: Separation fuels fear and control; remembering oneness invites compassion. How to deal with “knowers”: Stay supple—and “be the bullfighter, not the cape.” Art is a spiritual training ground: Acting, directing, and playing music all rehearse presence, collaboration, vulnerability, and truth. Skepticism can be healthy: Jeff stays open to spirit and meaning without forcing the “how.” The point isn't only “good vibes”: Consciousness wants the full human experience—joy and the honest depths of sadness, shame, anger, and grief. You're not ruined: At your center is something “pure, whole, and complete,” untouched by what happened to you—or what you've done. Jeff Kober “We're meant to live in the question.” “The universe itself is infinitely loving and kind.” “Consciousness can only embody by forgetting its oneness with itself.” “From individuality, we are solely and wholly at the mercy of the ego.” “Can I continue to expand my consciousness enough to contain even these seeming opposite realities?” Jeff Kober's Website Jeff Kober Instagram Join us on Substack for The Afterlife—bonus clips after the “mic is off” (wink). They discuss complex spiritual concepts like soul contracts and offer enlightening insights on how the spirit world views our grief, providing validation and hope to those who mourn and inspiring them to find joy in life again.IN THIS EPISODE, YOU'LL HEAR ABOUT THINGS LIKE:The concept of a "soul contract" and how a child's early passing can be a pre-life agreement intended to catalyze a parent's spiritual awakening. The tumultuous years of Alexander's life, his struggle with addiction, and the circumstances surrounding his transition.A dramatic near-death experience following multiple family losses and severe physical pain, viewed as an act of divine intervention.Profound methods of afterlife connection, including feeling a loved one's touch during meditation and unexpected communication via AI (Chat GPT).The nature and role of a personal "council" in the spirit world, composed of loved ones, spirit guides, and one's higher self. The spirit world's perspective on human grief, emphasizing that loved ones on the other side want the living to remarry and find happiness, and the absence of a punitive "hell."Alexander's experience of a Life Review on the other side, where he felt accountability for his actions alongside unconditional love and compassion.WATCH ON YOUTUBE: How Janet Kaufman Connects with Her Son Through Spirit and Technology: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3sfK9swN-4&list=PL7judgDzhkAWmfyB5r5WgFD6ahombBvoh

This is a recording of me undergoing a past life regression. In this moment, I'm not acting as presenter or commentator, but as the subject of the session itself. What you hear is exactly how it unfolded. As the session progresses, you'll hear my voice soften and slow as I move deeper into the experience. I describe images, emotions, and impressions as they arise, often tentatively, sometimes with long pauses in between. These silences are part of the process. They mark moments of listening inwardly, allowing memories from beyond this lifetime to surface in their own time. For me, past life regression is a spiritual practice, one that opens a doorway to the continuity of the soul and the deeper story we carry with us. During this session, I wasn't analysing or questioning what appeared. I was simply witnessing it, trusting that what came forward was meaningful, even if it arrived only in fragments.  https://www.pastliveshypnosis.co.uk/https://www.patreon.com/ourparanormalafterlifeMy book 'Verified Near Death Experiences' https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DXKRGDFP Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Vancouver soul and blues heavyweight Mike Van Eyes returns with his second single, “Ain't That Loving You, Baby”, landing January 14, 2026. Smooth, swinging and soaked in classic R&B, the track shows another side of his signature sound, less sprint, more slow-burning glide, with a groove that leans into feel, finesse and pure musical chemistry. It's already timeless, the kind of song that feels pulled from a golden era but played with modern fire. Long considered one of the city's most electric piano forces, Van Eyes has spent decades deep in the roots of rock 'n' roll and R&B, building a legacy through his work with Vancouver institutions The Epics and The Trespassers, as well as touring with the Herald Nix Band, where he even shared stages with The Clash and sat in with Howlin' Wolf's band. Along the way, he's lent his talents to artists like Colin James, The Yodells, GI Blues, Copyright, The Undertakin' Daddies and Peewee Clayton, a résumé that reads like a history book of West Coast roots music. “Ain't That Loving You, Baby” was recorded at the legendary Mushroom Studios (now Afterlife) with Juno Award-winning producer and engineer Erik P.H. Neilsen, capturing that unmistakable vintage warmth with a sharp, modern mix. The result is a track that swings effortlessly, anchored by Van Eyes' expressive piano work while letting the rhythm section breathe and stretch naturally around it. January 25, 1908. Harry Houdini is the most famous magician in America. He's known for his escapes – from handcuffs, boxes, jail cells, even a giant football. But the escape act is getting old, and ticket sales aren't what they used to be. And on this day, an under-capacity audience at the Columbia Theater in St. Louis is about to witness Houdini's most dangerous escape yet… from death itself. How did a Hungarian immigrant named Erik Weisz become Harry Houdini? And when his career was fading, how did Houdini embrace death to bring it back to life? Special thanks to our guest, Joe Posnanski, author of The Life and Afterlife of Harry Houdini. How to Lean on Spiritual Practice When Nothing Is Okay — What to Do When You Feel Overwhelmed

It's a Sunday Solo, and Jane Morgan is showing up with a snotty nose, a tender nervous system, and a question a lot of us are carrying right now: what is spiritual practice actually for when nothing feels okay? In this episode of Medium Curious, Jane talks honestly about living in a time when the news is relentless, your heart is tired, and the world feels like it's teetering. She shares the ways she's been “resourcing” herself — not to bypass what's happening, but to stay in her body, steady her nervous system, and find a real corner of calm in the chaos. You'll hear a simple grounding visualization you can do anywhere (even while driving), a sweet nervous-system reset (hand on heart + belly), an easy breath “hack” (longer exhales), and a practical reminder to build a list of your personal resources — from nature walks and music to trusted friends, art, pets, and you betcha… angels. Jane also shares a meaningful synchronicity around her birthday, a celestite crystal, a necklace with angel wings, and a reminder that when we find steadiness inside ourselves, it ripples outward. Because right now, being calm and centered isn't just self-care — it's service. Mentioned in this episode: Angel Speak: How to Talk with Your Angels by Barbara Mark & Trudy Griswold Medium Curious episode with Cheryl (Chuck) Rosenthal on the nervous system  A recent episode of Next Level Soul featuring Yogi Raj + a meditation on radiating peace  Medium Curious episode with Radleigh Valentine on Angels Keywords  spiritual practice when overwhelmed, spiritual practices during difficult times, grounding meditation, calming the nervous system, breathwork for anxiety, rest and digest, meditation for stress, nature as healing, community support, emotional resilience, angels and spiritual support, how to find peace when nothing is okay, mindfulness for hard times Takeaways Spiritual practice isn't “aspirational” right now — it's a respite. If your nervous system isn't calibrated, everything feels harder. Grounding (earth + divine connection) can bring you back to one. Hand on heart + hand on belly is a small gesture with big impact. Longer exhales (5 in / 7 out) can shift you out of fight-or-flight. Make a list of your personal “resources” so you can reach for them fast. Nature, music, art, pets, and trusted friends are real medicine. Calling in angels can be a practical support — and synchronicities happen. Calm isn't denial — it's a way to stay in your body and be of service. Your inner peace can ripple outward into your family and community. Sound bites “My spiritual practice has become one of the few safe places — a respite.” “If I haven't calibrated my nervous system, there's no hope for me.” “Back to one. What is your one?” “When we come back to rest and digest, we can actually serve.” “Nature is ridiculously magical — it's such a resource.” “Angels… babes. We can call them in.” Join us on Substack for The Afterlife—bonus clips after the “mic is off” (wink). HERE'S A PODCAST FROM A YEAR AGO - 2025... LAST YEAR'S Happy New Year! Well no time like the present to kick off the new year with a mind bending podcast courtesy of Jennifer Shaffer and Rich Martini.  Jennifer's web page JenniferShaffer.com has links to her "Uncorked" events, or to book with her directly, RichardMartini.com is where one can book a guided meditation with Rich. So the other day in my kitchen (and I don't know why it's the case, but I sometimes get a message or feeling there that someone wants to talk to us) President Jimmy Carter popped into my head. It of course could have been because he'd just passed away - but I try not to judge why someone shows up, or if someone shows up.  I just leave it aside, and see what happens when we start the podcast. And as we often do, I left it up to our moderator on the Flipside, Luana Anders to suggest the topic for the day. And she told Jennifer: "Richard has someone who spoke to him yesterday." Which is accurate.  And just prior to the podcast - literally a minute before, I remembered that happened, and I looked up Jimmy on Wikipedia so at the very least I had some of his background correct. as it is - at some point I call the King of England before Elizabeth "Edward" when everyone knows that's not her father's name. But Jennifer didn't say his name - just pointed out that she was seeing him when Winston Churchill showed up. (For historians out there, the story of Winston sleeping in the White House and seeing a ghost is old news.) As noted, when over the past ten years we have someone Presidential show up (We've had all chats with Hoover, FDR, Truman, JFK, Nixon, Reagan, Bush Sr.. and folks associated with the Presidency - Abe Lincoln, Mary Todd Lincoln, Andrew Jackson, RFK, John McCain - those interviews are in the books BACKSTAGE PASS TO THE FLIPSIDE (books 1, 2 and 3). Some of them are searchable on the podcast - Abe, JFK, RFK, etc... but it wasn't surprising what Jimmy said about seeing Reagan on the flipside, how McCain stopped by - and the legions of people who loved him were there to greet him. Interesting that he said Rosalyn was "with him" frequency wise - he spoke about the regrets he had from his life (associated with war) and the things he was proudest of.  I asked him a question about a film project I've been working on - something only he would know about, the land case in Maine.  Fun to hear him say it's a story "that should be told." He also talked briefly about people off planet - since he saw a UFO back in 1969, and says that the kinds of work they're doing are benevolent... nothing to fear.  The same kind of things I've heard in the research behind CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE FLIPSIDE KIND.  We asked him who he was surprised to see - and he mentioned Winston Churchill and Elvis - who was friends with him. Paul Newman showed up - I wasn't aware of their friendship, but Jimmy talked about Paul's food charity work, and we asked Paul some questions about his journey, including what it was like to welcome his wife Joanne Woodward home.  (Joanne is still on the planet, but has Alzheimers - from the research, multiple conversations with people offstage, our loved ones who have dementia are "90% already home" - so it's normal for them to interact with each other.  As my friend's father Jack Tracey told us in his last weeks of being here, "It's like leaving a leg in the pool."  I didn't mean to imply she is gone - just was asking him what it was like to see her "higher self" on the flipside.) So while one is watching the nation mourn this President, while the nation has a funeral for him, honoring him and his service, be aware that he hasn't disappeared or is gone: he's just not here. Available. Like everyone is. Hope this helps. WE'LL BE BACK NEXT WEEK!
