Born and raised in Argentina, Lucila Cejas is currently a Brand & Cultural Strategist at North agency in Portland, OR. Lucila graduated with a Masters of Science in Strategic Communications at the UO in 2016 with a 4.0 and previously worked in years of production and journalism before going into a strategy role. But above all that, Lucila’s firecracker spirit and contagious personality is fool-proof for an awesome afternoon. We are looking forward to her leading our workshop today, but also to sit and talk with her in the After Hours podcast.

We’re welcoming Renee Dobre, Architecture Undergraduate at the UO to After Hours for an intimate version of her TEDx talk she gave last month about the possible versatility of 3D printers. Elexus is an undergraduate senior studying at the UO studying Advertising and is an aspiring artist and art director. In her own words, “I work to add a unique spin to my growing brand by turning life experiences into various forms of visuals.” Elexus will be moving to New York City post graduation to join TBWA as an Art Direction Intern and MAIP recipient. Natalie Kim, founder of We Are Next joins us to talk about how junior talent can be using her platform as a resource for gathering advice, insight, and tools from all over the industry. From her start in LA and taking the jump to NY, to the mentors in her life that have helped her along the way, Natalie gave us an inside scoop on what it takes behind the scenes to make We Are Next thrive. We found out how the industry is using this resource for guiding and finding young talent.
