The final episode of ASP. Thanks for listening to those who did as well all the people that contributed and helped with ASP. Don't worry die hard fans. The gang will be back in a new format. Going with the GameDiet theme, we'll be perusing a new style of podcast. A single game review between 3 or 4 people who have played it; recorded outside of a studio at a restaurant. Dinner and a podcast is the idea. The last episode starred Mike, Griff, Kies, along with two new contributors John and Misty. Hot and steamy studio this week makes the crew sleepy. ASP had to take a break for a bit because of campus lock down and festivities but we're back. Back with a whimper though. Kies, Mike, Jamie, and Griff talk about whats been happening in the past few weeks of gaming news quickly and chat about what we've been playing. Listen in to the lazy podcast and be sure to join us next week for the season finale. There might be a cliffhanger.

ASP is out late for the week of April 12, 2009. Griff, Kies, Matt, Mike, and Axel are joined by special guest Chuck this episode. We cover a series often neglected but never disliked, Suikoden, in gaming 101. Hold on because there is a lot of cross talk and laughter on this candy fueled episode. Oh yeah, we talk about some games too.

Alt Source Podcaste for the week of April 5th is delightfully olde timey. Griff, Matt, Kies, and Mike talk about Resident Evil 5, Fallout 3 expansions, Bully, and Henry Hatsworth. Enjoy the sound clips from the soundtrack of Henry Hatsworth which can be downloaded from EA's website for free. We relate lots of exciting news too. Watch out for bears! Capitol!

The ASP for the first week of March 2009 yields plenty of spirited debate. Griff, Kies, Mike, Phil, Matt, Geoff, and Axel talk up Noby Noby Boy, Dawn of War 2, Street Fighter 4, Afro Samurai, and Halo Wars. Starcraft is featured in Gaming 101 and the slim WoW pickings are stripped to the bone in WoW Soup.

The entire Alt Source crew is on board for another exciting episode of ASP. We get the last of the games played over break out of the way and talk heavily about Street Fighter 4, WoW, and bottom shelf releases. Lots of talk about lots of games, a few electrocutions, and a bevy of 'your mom' and 'she said' zingers.

On the second episode of season two of ASP Matt and Griff are joined by Geoff and Jamie by the inconsistent magic of Skype. We talk about Resident Evil 5, Fable 2, Flower, Mirrors Edge. We also rehash standards for video game reviews. Very highbrow this week.

Season 2 of ASP launches with a bang. Griff, Mike, and Phil talk about what they played during the holiday season. We get silly from a few cans of sparks. Too many games to list, just listen

The grand finale of ASP in 2008. Griff, Matt, Mike, and Phil gather in the studio for one bittersweet last time to talk about video games. Chrono Trigger is the subject of game education and every one sings the praises of horde mode in Gears 2. A noticeable lack of WoW talk and "that's what she said..." lines mark Kies absence but Griff makes up for it by obsessively gushing over Persona 4. We give our on-the-spot predictions about Game of the Year and all its sub-categories for '08 and wrap up by talking about what we plan on playing during the holidays. Episode 8 of ASP or shall we say AS3, since there is only three people on board this episode, is chalk full of laughs and explicit humor. This one is probably not for the kids this week. We discuss more WoW, more LBP, Gears 2, and Left 4 Dead. We also recount stories of our favorite voice talents and games with memorable voice acting. Much fun was had during the breaks so they have been kept in for your listening pleasure. There will be no ASP next week because we will all be in disparate locations for T-Givin' break.Download

A powerful week ends with ASP number 6, on November 7, 2008.  Four men strong, we regret Matt's absence as little did we know it was his stalward interjections that held the sanity of ASP in check. Like a bipolar toddler at snack time, the tone of ASP bounces around while fighting back its own lethargy culminating in a drooling sugar coma.
