It would be an understatement to say that this current season of disruptions at all levels requires a different breed of believers - those with keen prophetic insight, understanding, and maturity to address the complex challenges before us. From geopolitical disruptions to economic challenges, and the current spiritual battle engaging the church globally, fasting is required to gain clarity and understanding of God's ways. Just as we see in the days of Daniel in Babylon, who fasted for 21 days for spiritual breakthrough over the realm (Daniel 10:2-3). Daniel is a model for us as the third day ecclesia that seeks to accelerate God ‘s visionary agenda within the nations, particularly in this period of systematic complex darkness, pervading the hearts and sociopolitical landscapes of nations. Fasting enhances the renewal and development of neural pathways that allow us to see new possibilities and innovations. The Father desires us to live healthy, fruitful, and fulfilling lives. Fasting gives us a sense of sound health, peace, and quietness deep within our inner man. Every aspect of our lives needs adequate care, and fasting plays a major role in this renewal and wholeness of our entire spirit, soul, and body.Spiritual discipline lays the foundation for spiritual breakthrough and advancement. The time of fasting is a time of spiritual renewal - a time of spiritual redemption, recalibration, spiritual development and reform, rediscovery of divine intent, realignment and redirection, and restoration. This is when our prophetic knowledge and insight are greatly enhanced and empowered to further pursue the initiatives of the kingdom of God in greater light.NEED FOR DETOXIFICATION AND RE-CALIBRATION:Our intention and deep desire is to be moved to a higher position of prophetic sight, wisdom, operation, and functionality to courageously build heaven's mandate for our generation. To dethrone the works of the flesh is not a game we can play casually as we have in the past. There must be a well-defined, structured system put in place, and in this fast, fasting is a major part in dethroning the flesh and enthroning the reign of Christ over the soul.We believe fasting is important in helping us develop spiritual knowledge that enhances our sense of current revelatory knowledge and wisdom in our journey into the prophetic realities of the ascended Kingdom life and its establishment for the present season. Fasting keeps the mind in good shape and our thoughts on the right path while our body is brought to that point of divine realignment. The toxic waste in our body system needs to be drained out so our body system can experience renewal. The science of neuron discipline states that it takes at least 21 days of repetitive practice of a particular discipline or task to alter the rigid neuron mapping of the brain that allows for certain behavioral patterns and thinking. This finding is certainly consistent with biblical studies. If we truly desire to see change, we need to engage our pattern of thinking with new perspectives and experiences that allow us to produce the fruit we desire. This means that if you desire to see specific transformation in any particular area of your life, you'll have to invest at least three weeks retraining those areas that have developed wrong habits, which are strongholds. What I've discovered is that many already have hard wiring in specific parts of their thinking (mindset) that has created predictable patterns of thinking and behavioral responses. Hence, it makes it difficult for them to see themselves changing.

After more than a decade away from the spotlight, Melanie Fiona is back with a new EP, “Say Yes.” It's the Canadian singer's first major release since 2012, when she won two Grammys for her work on CeeLo Green's song “Fool for You.” Melanie tells guest host Talia Schlanger how intense burnout led to a spiritual awakening, how losing her voice taught her to speak up for herself, and why she's saying yes to singing again.
It's no secret that there are people in a tall woman's life who can make her insecure, and this can be either growing up, in their adult life, or both stages. And I think I did a few episodes regarding each group or some of these groups of people. We have our peers, especially growing up, whether it's our classmates, teammates, or “friends” calling us those weird, annoying names and asking dumb questions like “How's the weather up there?” We also have the adults like teachers, coaches, or even strangers making assumptions about us or staring at us because of our height. Then, we have family members, the ones who are supposed to always have our backs but pick us apart and make horrible self-comparisons. And then we have men. And not just any random dude. According to a tall girly on TikTok, this is a specific category of men. And before you come for me, I'm NOT HATING ON MEN. I understand that this is not representative of all of them (even the ones in the category). I'm simply providing commentary. Part two of this terrific interview:One of HBH's favorite guests is back, sharing more stories from his time on a Huey gunship helicopter as a Crew Chief and Door Gunner. As part of the 101st Airborne and a Black Angel, Roger Lockshier and his crew were routinely tasked with extracting MACV-SOG Green Berets during hairy combat in the jungles of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.In this episode and his latest book, “Saving Infantry and SOG Souls,” Distinguished Flying Cross recipient, (and many other awards) Roger shares his adventures stateside in training; supporting Airborne infantry, LRRPs, MACV-SOG; and his combat experiences – including when the six-week Tet offensive caught US forces unawares. He describes how they sat on an armor backplate to protect them from gunfire coming from below, and how they carried their guns freehand, riding on the skids to get the best view possible of the battlefield below. Roger also details his equipment, (including the wider-blade C model helo, his ‘chicken vest,' etc.) his teammates, and taking on wounded even though their Huey wasn't designed or intended for that.(This is part one of two episodes airing back-to-back.)Heroes Behind HeadlinesExecutive Producer Ralph PezzulloProduced & Engineered by Mike DawsonMusic provided by ExtremeMusic.com
Tommy Fleetwood has finally won a PGA Tour event. Naturally, this episode starts elsewhere, as Andy and Brendan immediately jump into some quotes from Robert Garrigus and James Hahn. As told to Adam Schupak, these men are very unhappy about the PGA Tour's continued shift toward Signature Events. Garrigus challenged Jordan Spieth to a match for his "five sponsor exemptions" into Signature Events next year and Hahn wants Brian Rolapp to get his phone number from Jay Monahan. This sets Andy off, wondering which players should feature in the "Mule Derby." Things eventually get back to the Super Bowl of Golf, won by Tommy Fleetwood after four rounds of preferred lies. Tommy held off "Playoff P," Keegan Bradley, Russell Henley, and a half-hearted charge from FedEx Cup fourth-place-finisher Scottie Scheffler on Sunday. PJ questions whether this Tour Championship should even count as Tommy's first win, but Fleetwood is now Mr. 1,001 regardless. Andy and Brendan discuss the week at East Lake and give Tommy his flowers for landing the plane on Sunday afternoon. With the U.S. Ryder Cup team set to be announced on Wednesday, it seems like Keegan Bradley will select himself, leaving one of Ben Griffin, Cameron Young, or Sam Burns at home. There's a lengthy discussion about what Keegan should do, but everyone agrees things are trending toward him being a playing captain. The European Ryder Cup team also got a boost on Sunday, with Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton teaming up to win the LIV Team Championship in a playoff. Elsewhere for Europe, Rasmus Hojgaard qualified on points, all but locking up their 12 players. Brendan is unsure of how Rasmus accumulated enough points to make the top six and questions whether all points lists should go away for the 2027 Ryder Cup. Stew Cink went back-to-back at the Ally Challenge, beating Ernie Els in a playoff in Michigan and Brooke Henderson won her national Open on the LPGA. Finally, President Trump declared that he's in favor of Keegan Bradley's playing captaincy and said he will be attending the Ryder Cup on Friday. Will he chop it up with Don Rea? That remains to be seen.

This week, Josh and Jade take on Eenie Meanie (2025), Hulu's shiny new attempt at a heist thriller that can't quite decide if it wants to be a comedy, a drama, or just a very expensive car commercial. Directed by Shawn Simmons (in his feature debut) and starring Samara Weaving, Karl Glusman, Andy Garcia, Steve Zahn, Jermaine Fowler, Marshawn Lynch, and Randall Park, the movie follows Edie, a pregnant ex–getaway driver dragged back into crime by her hot mess of an ex-boyfriend and a gangster who clearly shops at the same tailor as every other mob boss in cinema history. But here's the problem: Eenie Meanie stuffs more subplots into its 106 minutes than most TV shows manage in a season. Toxic romance? Check. Surprise pregnancy? Check. Daddy issues, betrayal, redemption, AND a casino heist? Double check. It's chaotic, it's messy, and honestly—it's kind of hilarious for all the wrong reasons. Which, of course, makes it the perfect kind of trash.

Chad Hartman and Lindsey Brown in for a Tuesday edition of The Chad Hartman Show Chad opens the final hour of the show addressing the recent inflammatory comments made by Minneapolis City Council Member Aisha Chughtai about the Mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey. Chad thinks the outburst is unbecoming of someone who holds her position in office. He notes the prevalence of this kind of rhetoric in our current state of politics. But that doesn't mean that speech like this comes without consequences. Jamie Yuccas makes her weekly appearance on The Chad Hartman Show. They start their conversation about their punctuality profile because apparently your personality plays into whether or not you arrive on time. Jamie shares a personal story from her early days in LA dealing with a boss who mandated everyone to be at work at 8:00 am sharp. They then wade into the hot debate of height requirements in the dating pool.
In today's episode, we will be discussing the rules for correction of a short femur. This includes pelvic measurements to determine functional difference versus anatomical difference; but it will also include the rules for knowing when, and when not to apply a heal lift.

Recent finds in the Atapuerca site in Spain have confirmed and expanded our understanding of the tates and culinary practices of Homo antecessor. This species is enigmatic and its place in the evolutionary tree unclear. But what is very clear is that it was cannibalistic. And on a large scale. It had a taste for young hominins, probably from competing tribes. How, you ask, could we possibly know that?In this epsiode of The History of Being Human, we cover everything we know and how we know it. Height, habitus, habits, diet of animals and hominins, and behavior. This episode expands significantly on the previous consideration of archaic human cannibalism in episode 3. The documentary discusses the deep emotional bond between Reeve and Robin Williams, revealing their supportive friendship nurtured during their Juilliard days. Following Reeve's accident, Dana Reeve emerged as a dedicated caregiver, transforming their tragedy into advocacy for disability rights and research funding. The podcast notes Reeve's advocacy for stem cell research and his collaboration with John Kerry, which marked him as a significant political figure in this area. Reeve's legacy is sustained through the Christopher Reeve Foundation, which continues to advance research funding for spinal injury treatment. Laura Kern volunteered to join the U.S. Army's nurse corps in May 1968 at the height of the conflict in Vietnam. 24 years old, she remembers her first day in Vietnam as her most pivotal: "I just jumped off the helicopter with my bags looking for my supervisor...They wheeled a soldier by me missing both legs and one arm. They were blown off." Laura talks about what it was like being one of 11,000 women who served in the war. Upon return, many of these women received a hostile reaction from their male counterparts, and suffered after effects from Agent Orange and PTSD. You can read more about Laura and her comrade's experiences in David Yuzick's book, "Women in War."Heroes Behind HeadlinesExecutive Producer Ralph PezzulloProduced & Engineered by Mike DawsonMusic provided by ExtremeMusic.comRuthless TruthIs an opinion platform hosted by Marvin “Truth” Davis. If these are triggers for you please feel free to skip this episode. In this week's episode I sat down with Jen Montzingo. Jen is proud to serve in Los Angeles local politics in various ways such as serving on the North Hollywood Neighborhood Council and sitting on the Los Angeles Olympics and Paralympics Advisory Board on Accessibility for the upcoming 2028 Games. She has big aspirations for more public speaking while also being obsessed with her two mini goldendoodles and greenhouse cabinet of rare tropical plants. Every single tall person known to existence has had a complicated relationship with their height. And speaking from my experience as a tall girly, I know I've had quite the tricky relationship with mine. There were times when I loved being tall. It was the greatest thing ever; it made me feel powerful and unique and beautiful even. And there were times when I was like why did my tall dad and above-average height mom have to make me tall again? From the self comparisons to my awkward tall teen phase to even the adults closest to me making me feel insecure about my height, it was a lot to deal with. Can any other tall girls relate? It's almost like do the cons outweigh the pros? When it comes to being a tall girl, is there more bad than good? Honestly, it gets to a point where you have to ask, do tall girls hate being tall? Okay, that was a bit extreme, but we're gonna answer this question and more in the episode, so make sure you tune in! We found out the news that NBA All-Star Klay Thompson is now dating Megan Thee Stallion. And Ashley thinks they are the perfect match because he is taller than her?!
The experiences that tall women go through are honestly…pretty wild. If you're a tall girly, you understand 110%. Yes, there are the fashion struggles like jeans hitting mid-calf, long sleeves not reaching your wrists, and not even finding clothes that fit your length. There are also the comments like “oh my gosh, you're so big” or “are you sure you're a woman?” and we can't forget about the aggressive behavior. Like people will literally roll up on you and try to fight you. And it seems like the taller you are, the wilder these experiences are. And today's guest knows exactly what I'm talking about. Today, I'm joined by 6'4” fashionista Alie (also known as six four unicorn period), who has been using her voice, height, and style to create an accepting and welcoming space for tall women online. We're gonna be talking about tall girl experiences, her fashion struggles as a 6'4” woman, and some intel on the first-ever tall girl brand trip with TJL Collection. Tune into the episode for more! What if our society's deepest prejudices weren't about race, gender, or sexuality—but height? In his groundbreaking allegorical novel, acclaimed Jordanian author and activist Fadi Zaghmout imagines just such a world, crafting a powerful meditation on discrimination and desire that speaks directly to our contemporary debates about identity and inclusion. The Man of Middling Height (Syracuse University Press, 2025) follows a short dressmaker whose life is upended when she meets Tallan, a man whose middle height places him outside the rigid tall/short binary that governs their society. As their forbidden romance blossoms, they must navigate a world where height determines everything from social status to romantic possibilities. Through their story and those of surrounding characters—including a short person in a polyamorous relationship with two tall partners, and a tall activist who scandalously loves another tall person—Zaghmout deftly reframes contemporary discussions about gender identity and sexuality through the lens of height discrimination. Fadi Zaghmout is a Jordanian author and sexual freedoms and body rights advocate. He has published five novels, including The Bride of Amman, Heaven on Earth, Laila, and Hope on Earth. Story at-a-glance Kyphosis (rounded upper back) signals spine failure from muscle weakness, poor posture or fragile bones; it increases risks of falls, breathing problems and early death Height loss exceeding 3 centimeters often indicates silent spinal fractures; these allow your spine to buckle forward even without noticeable pain Postural kyphosis from poor habits is fixable, while structural kyphosis from osteoporosis and vertebral fractures is harder to correct and more dangerous Strengthening your back muscles by lifting your chest while lying face down provides lasting benefits, including reducing broken bones even years after you stop doing these exercises Avoid forward-bending exercises like sit-ups if you're concerned about kyphosis; instead focus on extension-based movements, proper posture both day and night, and Foundation Training
