On Friday February 14, 2020 just after 1200 pm an 85 year old male resident of Prescott Valley was traveling west on State Route 69 when he suffered what is believed to be a medical episode causing him to veer into another vehicle and then off the highway into a ditch.

On February 6, 2020, detectives from the Partner’s Against Narcotics Trafficking Taskforce (PANT) executed a search warrant at 610 N. Bagby Drive in Prescott resulting in the arrest of 22-year-old Clayton Yost on various drug charges.
On February 10, 2020, 2 brothers from Paulden, ages 15 and 16, were arrested and booked into the Yavapai County Juvenile Detention Center for 2 Paulden area burglaries. The suspects also stole their father’s truck which was used in each incident. They were also charged with Vehicle Theft.

The Prescott Police Department is proud to announce that our Citizens on Patrol volunteer unit is celebrating 25 years of service to the Prescott community.
The warrant sweep resulted in fourteen people being taken into custody for outstanding arrest warrants. Of the fourteen suspects that were arrested for outstanding arrest warrants, two of the suspects arrested were also in possession of illicit drugs (methamphetamine and /or THC) when they were arrested, which resulted in additional criminal charges.
Sheriff’s detectives sought and received a search warrant authorizing the search of Egbert's home on McIntosh Lane for evidence of child pornography. The warrant was service on January 15, 2020. Egbert was not present at the time.
On January 23, 2020, around 3 PM, deputies were dispatched to an area off Orme Road, approximately 1 mile from Highway 169, Dewey, regarding a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Field allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old female victim by forcing her to have sex with him at the victim’s home in Prescott Valley according to the victim. Field claimed it was consensual, but admitted he knew the victim was 14 years old. Field was 19 years of age at the time of the crime.
On May 21, 2019, Fishback allegedly took a work truck from his employer without permission and drove recklessly throughout Prescott, Prescott Valley and Chino Valley. Law Enforcement attempted to stop Fishback multiple times and he fled each time.
Belmares allegedly entered the victim’s property and removed several items from his property and residence. The items taken included firearms, jewelry, coins, tools, animals and money. Some of the items were later recovered, but some of the items were traded for drugs. The total loss to the victim was approximately $8,500.00.
Bywater and another suspect allegedly entered the victim’s home in the 20,000 block of Cactus Wren in Cordes Lakes, AZ and stole three firearms and $900 in cash.
On August 6, 2019, Wheat was stopped by a Prescott Police Officer while allegedly driving a stolen vehicle.
Bracher is currently in the Maricopa County Jail awaiting extradition to Yavapai County.
During the stop, a Yavapai County Sheriff’s K9 Deputy alerted to the vehicle indicating there was contraband inside the vehicle.
Cline is alleged to have transferred funds from her clients’ accounts to her personal account that were not owed to her. The total loss to the clients was approximately $174,600.

Distefano subsequently provided two breath samples of 0.285 and 0.288, well over three times the legal limit!
Several duffel bags containing a total of approximately 10 pounds of marijuana were discovered.
Charges: Burglary, Threatening and Intimidating, Criminal Damage and a Probation Violation Warrant stemming from Possession of Narcotics and Child Abuse.
