Askari Metals Ltd (ASX:AS2) executive director Gino D'Anna talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the company's expanding exploration footprint in Africa. Askari Metals Limited is targeting opportunities across lithium, tin, tantalum, rubidium and gold, with a strategic focus on Namibia and Ethiopia. Executive director Gino D'Anna said the company's Uis project in Namibia remains its flagship asset due to its proximity to the long-standing Uis Tin Mine and access to key infrastructure including deepwater ports. “What we're seeing at Uis from an exploration perspective is large, scalable pegmatite, which are providing polymetallic mineralisation,” D'Anna said, noting strong results including up to 4% tin and nearly 6,000 ppm tantalum. D'Anna highlighted that Uis remains significantly underexplored and is now showing potential beyond lithium, with attention shifting to tin, tantalum, and rubidium. On Ethiopia, he described it as an exciting, underexplored jurisdiction with favourable mining legislation. Askari is exploring the Wayu Boda area along the Adola Greenstone Belt, which lies near multi-million-ounce gold deposits. D'Anna added that Ethiopia presents “the land of giants,” and offers strong geological promise. He also flagged active due diligence on advanced brownfields gold projects as part of the company's strategy to build out its gold position. D'Anna said investors can expect steady news flow from both Namibia and Ethiopia as drilling and early exploration works ramp up. Visit Proactive's YouTube channel for more interviews like this one. - The Golden Rule is shared across religions, including the Prophet's saying: “Love for the people what you love for yourself.” - The issue is racism and greed, not ignorance, as seen in conflicts like Russia's invasion of Ukraine and Israel's long-standing occupation of Palestine. - Israel, backed by the West, violates international laws but is still seen as a democracy. - High civilian casualties in Gaza have sparked global protests and exposed Western governmental racism. - Despite Biden's claims to limit regional conflict, the U.S. continues to send military aid to Israel, totaling $22.7 billion. - Netanyahu repeatedly undermines Biden, yet U.S. policy seems shaped by Israel. - The UK is considering sanctions on Israeli ministers for inflammatory comments, reflecting global public pressure. - Imām Ḥasan al-‘Askari's letter advises on taqwā, ṣalāt, zakāt, and practicing good character, along with social responsibilities like enjoining good and avoiding indecency. - Emphasis is placed on the importance of night prayers and following these teachings. Hey hey! Hope everybody is having a truly relaxing, mindful summer with enough sunscreen and design totes filled with image-heavy, text-light books to go around. We're back with another episode of Graphic Support Group, believe it or not. We have a very special episode for you, the first in a series we'd like to call “Behind the Screen” (thanks to Drew's partner Deniz Önder for the great nomenclature). This series focuses on the behind-the-scene heroes of the design industry: the printers, technicians, administrators, and studio managers who keep the wheels of this chaos screwed on. Without them, we'd be pretty helpless, so we'd like to dig into what keeps these instrumental figures motivated and inspired, and the pitfalls they undoubtedly face from time to time. Our inaugural Behind-the-Screen-er is Hasan Askari. Hasan has been a key figure at The Rhode Island School of Design since the late 90's when he co-founded Concept-Link, a print and design shop that slowly but surely became a go-to resource for design, photo, and architecture students, helpless to find the proper printing capabilities on RISD's Campus. Over the years Concept-Link offered their services to RISD's students and faculty to the point of giving students access to the print shop after hours, answering emergency 3 am phone calls from feverish degree project candidates in the 11th hour of production, and even eventually moving into RISD's official facilities to become the one-stop-shop for students to talk through print techniques and revise projects to make them actually printable, while Hasan dished out philosophy and literature references and pearls of wisdom to bloodshot-tearful eyes of the RISD woebegone. Besides being a full time print hero and entrepreneur, he has also enjoyed a journalistic career and contributed in critical studies and creative nonfiction. He has also been working on an anthology of English translations of contemporary Urdu poetry. James and Drew were delighted to talk with Hasan, after years away from Concept Link with memories rushing back in of our days as crying students. We hope you enjoy! This is a public episode. Ever wanted to go cycle the TransAmerica Bike Trail? Well this episode features Kari Loia who did just that with his 75 year old dad. What makes this journey even more unique though was that Kari's dad Merv was suffering from Alzheimers. This made the trip far more poignant for Kari, as it was the final opportunity for them both to live out a goal which they had both talked about for years - to bike across America. Kari talked me through his experiences of this trip, the extra complications brought about from having to also be caregiver to his father, who while physically fit and able to take on the journey, was still showing lots of signs of Alzheimers slowly taking hold. This trip really came about because Kari decided to look at what his father could still do, rather than consign him away to Alzheimers completely. As Kari mentioned during the episode, for each of the 73 days of their journey, his father could not recall where they started or where they ended their trip. Yet his father had a beaming grin, as he cycled up Hoosier Pass, snowbanks either side of him, and was living completely in the moment the entire time on that 7,500km journey. Kari also took the time to journal this bike tour by way of transcribing over 300 conversations had with strangers along the way. He would later turn this into a book titled Conversations Across America which I can highly recommend. You can learn more about Kari via his website: ) www.dreamerdoercoaching.com To purchase his book check out this link - Conversations Across America Support the showEnjoying Seek Travel Ride? Kari Lake is going scorched earth against the Republican establishment. She is exposing just how swampy and vile the RINO class of the Republican Party truly is, and we're going to get a front-row seat! Highlights: “Thanks to Kari Lake and her efforts to expose the permanent political class, we're getting this front row seat on just how crooked and degenerate our ruling elite, particularly our Republican establishment, really is. As Kari made it clear in that recording: they don't care about you, they don't care about the country, they don't care even about the party, they only care about their own power and affluence!” “More and more people are recognizing that our politics is fundamentally broken, and they want to purge DC of the this corrupt establishment. We're seeing this not only with Kari but with the new MAGA movement made up of both urban and rural voters who are coming together to give President Trump his biggest victories yet in Iowa and New Hampshire.” Timestamps: [02:41] The recording of how a GOP official tried to bribe Kari Lake to get out of the AZ senate race [08:12] How the politics today is a business model [10:33] How the MAGA revolt is rising up Resources: FREE TRAINING on how to buy low and sell high by tracking the big wigs this Thursday, January 25th at 3 pm ET! And so he embarked on building his own CRM system called 'Collums'. This proved very successful and future developments were planned to take Collums to the USA and other markets. But just three weeks ago out of nowhere, agreed funding for future investment in the software was pulled, leaving the future of Collums on a knife edge. We explore: Askari's background The challenges of creating clinical software Why there will never be a perfect clinical management software for injectors Why software is so expensive to develop The mismatch between this cost and what injectors are willing to pay to run their practices What happened with his investor What the future holds for Collums SUPPORT THE PODCAST: If you enjoy listening to IA every week and would like to help support the podcast in a small way, we have a simple donation option: Buy us a coffee IA PATREON: Did you know that we have an online injectable education & business support platform called IA Patreon?
