One of the centerpieces for free public gathering in downtown St. Louis is back open after eight months of renovations. Citygarden, the three-acre sculpture park stretching along the Gateway Mall, is again offering a greener and more peaceful environment than the busy streets and city sidewalks it sits among. As St. Louis Public Radio's Jeremy Goodwin reports, an opening day party at Citygarden offered a view of the amenity as a colorful hub for city residents and visitors.
Prescott Gateway Mall completed a .5 million renovation and will reopen as Pine Ridge Marketplace on Jan. 1, 2024. Prescott's premiere shopping center will transform into a retail, lifestyle and experiential destination with a growing collection of retailers, restaurants, eateries and entertainment venues. The newly named Pine Ridge Marketplace is a hybrid center with an elevated focus on sustainability. The marketplace features new, energy-efficient LED lighting and HVAC systems. These improvements allow for less energy usage and reduced operating costs, in addition to creating a more inviting environment.
