Association Fantasy Football Cast United — FPL Pod

This week the boys are back at it. Derek is filled with doom and gloom, Charlie with cheer and rainbows. I know, it felt weird in the room too. We talk Arsenal's keeper choice, Julian Alvarez, giving up on Rashford and much more!

I hope you're prepared for a depressed Derek, because that's what we've got this week. After Charlie's mighty Tottenham Hotspur ran roughshod over United, Derek is a broken man. Trust me, it sounds a lot more fun than I've made it seem. Alongside the melancholy, we're asking the big questions about the Jetsons nobody was brave enough to ask before.

It's week two and one of us is already taking an eight point hit... that's FPL for ya, babay! We've got all the picks for you heading in to week two including replacements for KDB, insane overreactions to everything and finally coming to grips with the fact that we're going to be captaining Haaland every week until Boxing Day 2027.

We're back! Well, at least two of us are. By the time this posts we will have blown up our teams at least 15 additional times, but here are our thoughts on the eve of the Premier League season.

We're back for a double game week extravaganza! Charlie laments every absurd thing to happen with Spurs, Durno tells us to not worry about that yellow triangle for Rashford and the boys accomplish the near impossible in a game of rock paper scissors. Or did they? You'll never know because this isn't a visual medium. Have fun with us this week!

This week the boys discuss the travel destinations they'll never be able to go to, Ivan Toney's upcoming suspension, the irritation that is Martinelli and much more.

This week the boys are still down a man, but not because our keeper got an idiotic red card before a cup final. We discuss some embarrassing conversations we've had, the double game week, the blanks on the game week, Marcus Rashford and much more!

This week the boys prepare for another double game week, start to consider the ramifications of the upcoming blank week 25, celebrate Marcus Rashford, whine about Hugo Lloris' injury and a whole lot more. It's fun! I promise.

We're back! It's been two long months since you've been forced to listen to our nonsense, but we were finally able to get together an record a pod again. Well, two of the three of us were. We talk about the wild deadline day and what it means for FPL, the draft pick ups we're lining up for, whether or not Everton is too hopeless to earn a new coach bump and more. This week the boys are raging at having their beloved matches taken away from them for the passing of... well, we're American. We have some deeply rooted irritations with certain outdated traditions. The transfer deadline has come and gone, and somehow Ronaldo is still on United. Yet that didn't even come up this week because there was so much to get to! Are we bringing Darwin back in? It's week two and we're already looking at that wild card very hungrily. The boys discuss Haaland and Nunez, then Nunez and Haaland with maybe a little Gab Jesus thrown in. Basically, we try to find some meaning in this vast universe as we contemplate having spaghetti hair or Cheeto fingers.

Are you ready for 90 minutes of Derek, Rocky and Charlie? Yeah, us neither, but we persevered and recorded our beginning of the season MEGA POD EXTRAVAGANZA anyway! We build out teams, talk philosophies, fret over the transfer deadline, complain about the scheduling of the World Cup and more!

Hello! This week Charlie and Derek were left to their own devices and strangely they agreed on damn near everything. It's incredibly off brand and we apologize. We discuss the upcoming doubles, Leicester assets that we are craving since they apparently have 17 more matches, the triumphant return of Bowen and more.

Rocky and Charlie are left to their own devices this week, and boy do things go off the rails. There are long rambling diatribes about Monopoly and American baseball owners, but in between them there's some pretty solid FPL advice. I think.

To triple captain Salah or not to triple captain Salah?

It's weird to be dropping a pod in the middle of a gameweek, but we're pretending gameweek 24 didn't happen and looking forward to gameweek 25. We look at all the players who are on new teams and trying to figure out what to do with our chips in the weeks to come. Charlie is also very positive about Tottenham, basically tempting fate to smack him in the face.

January transfer window is wide open....and kind of boring. Except if your new second team is Aston Villa.

The idiots have taken over the asylum as Rocky has ditched us for the warm embrace of his loving family... if only he knew what an exciting pod we were going to have he would have made different life choices! FPL Game Week 9 to Ronaldo or not to Ronaldo?

This week all three boys are together in the same room for what feels like the first time in ages. We talk international break, injuries abounding and our favorite scary movies. Plus, we debate whether or not players should be rewarded by VAR for punching Manchester United players in the face.

This week we still only have two of the gents in studio (and by studio we mean Charlie's living room), but we press forward nonetheless. We talk about Fernandes taking a crucial pen over Ronaldo, the beautiful smack talking of Emi Martinez, the absolute tire fire at Spurs and what to do about injuries to Trent, Maguire and Shaw moving forward.

Big week! Well, they all are now. What moves will you make? Can you have Ronaldo, Salah, Lukaku and Trent? Is that too much? Oh, and there's a playable 4.0 goalkeeper.

This week Charlie and Durno discuss the Ronaldo effect, the era of premium strikers returning and their least favorite things about their absent cohost, Rocky.

Did you know that Ronaldo was coming back to the Premier League? Obviously Ronaldo ended up dominating our discourse this week on the pod. We talk about attempting to work him into the squad, reasons to hold off, reasons to wild card and even a couple of things that aren't Ronaldo related.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages... it's a CHARLIE SOLO POD! I know, nobody wanted to hear that and if I was smart I would not have written that. You've probably already clicked away from here. I have been left alone this week but the pod must go on. We..
