The FPL General is here to assess the landscape after gameweek 15 and get you ready to go again before the weekend. There's transfer advice, captaincy picks, a watchlist update and these questions answered: Rank Sancho, Bruno, Rashford & Ronaldo ahead of United's great fixture run? Is Dalot worth serious consideration given his price? If you've kept Kane this long, do you hold for one more week against a depleted Brighton defence or move to Ronaldo ahead of United's good run starting with Norwich? Is big at the back turning into big in midfield?  Silva, Foden or Gundogan? Should we stick with Raphinha or switch to an option like Foden or Bernardo as Leeds fixtures are very tough for the next few gameweeks? Is it time to say goodbye to Ivan Toney? Who's fixtures should we be targeting over the Christmas period? Should we consider Watkins with Villa's great fixtures? Thoughts on Armando Broja at Southampton?

This week we discuss the Salah conundrum, Chelsea's dip in form and whether Solskjaer can survive the next few weeks Part 1 (00:43) It was incredible when Mo Salah scored that wonder-goal against Man City before the break, but for him to repeat it again against Watford is truly special. Are we witnessing an all-time great hot streak? Part 2 (11:09) Newcastle's “celebration” on Sunday was a strange day. They took an early lead, then fell apart and then the game was suspended due to a medical emergency. Chelsea beat Brentford on Saturday evening, but the performance left a lot to be desired Man United lost to Leicester City, 4-2, another humiliating day for Solskjaer. Rashford returned, and scored, but is apparently unhappy with some pre-match remarks from his under pressure manager… Part 3 (37:51) We've already seen one manager sacked in the Premier League, but a few others have wandered into dangerous territory — and some have dug their way back out, for now. It's only been eight games, but are we on the verge of a sacking season? Part 4 (55:08) The Champions League group stages make it to halfway this week. Barcelona really need a win, as do both Milan clubs and Man United could use one ahead of their game against Liverpool on Sunday. It's actually a very busy week for big games. Juve play Inter, PSG vs. Marseille and El Clasico all happen on Sunday too Closing Contact us: @thetfpod on Twitter or email us at theTFpod@gmail.com Follow us on Twitter: Declan @CheesyHartePun & Andrew @Conbon27 For more, subscribe to Declan's writing over at cheesyhartepun.medium.com Remember to rate/review the show on your podcast provider of choice and do tell friends and family about the show. It may not have ended the way we all hoped, but  England reached their first major final in over 50 years and that is something to be very proud about. Billy Grant had followed England every step of the way at Euro 2020 but decided only to document the final for superstition's sake.    Then, because England lost on penalties to Italy in such a cruel fashion, this podcast was shelved for a couple of weeks, possibly even resigned to the recycle bin. However, now the pain had eased slightly, listening back to the enthusiastic voices, and hearing the singing from the terrace, we realised England may have lost the final... but there was so much that the team, and the country, gained during a dramatic month when the nation got a well-needed release after the pressure the pandemic had brought upon them.  This show talks to a wide range of fans on and off the terrace. Fans reflect on the tournament as a whole talking to fans who went to previous games including the banned match in Rome. It also talks to black and asian England fans, getting their views on why supporting England never appealed to them before this tournament and why this particular England team resonated with them. It captures the excitement of a wide range of fans before and during the match. Plus it captures the mood after and tries to contextualise the racial abused dished out by the three England players Saka, Sancho and Rashford whilst also expressing great pride in how this team has carried themselves and captured the nation in a way that no other team has done. Re-live that Euro 2020 final where the hopes and the dreams and the enthusiasm and pain of the fans were reflected in this energy-packed podcast. All those feelings taking place in one rollercoaster of an evening.

Three Black players who missed penalty kicks for England in the decisive European Championship shootout against Italy on Sunday night were subjected to racist abuse online, prompting the English Football Association to issue a statement condemning the language used against the players.Bukayo Saka, at 19 one of the youngest players on the England squad, missed the penalty that gave the title to Italy and denied England its first international trophy since the 1966 World Cup.It was England's third straight failure from the penalty spot in the shootout, with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho also missing. The FA said in a statement it was "appalled" by the abuse of the three players. The team had taken a knee before games at the Euros to signal its support for an end to racial inequality, and the young, multi-ethnic squad won the hearts of the soccer-mad country before the shootout failure brought out all-too-familiar messages of hate."We will do all we can to support the players affected while urging the toughest punishments possible for anyone responsible," the FA statement said. "We will continue to do everything we can to stamp discrimination out of the game, but we implore government to act quickly and bring in the appropriate legislation so this abuse has real-life consequences."London's Metropolitan Police also said it was investigating "offensive and racist" messages on social media.Rashford, who plays for Manchester United, noted the racial abuse he received on social media in May after the team lost the Europa League final.England coach Gareth Southgate was criticised for his strategy of bringing in Rashford and Sancho off the bench to take penalties while star Raheem Sterling was sidelined in the shootout."They were the best takers we had left on the pitch," Southgate said. "We win and lose together."

The BarcaBreakdown discuss LIONEL MESSI AND ARGENTINA WINNING THE COPA AMERICA!!!! Messi finally has his international trophy THANK GOD! Italy win the Euros at Wembley against England in a thrilling penalty shoot out! We talk the triumph of Argentina, lead by Angel Di Maria's wonder goal, against Brazil at the Maracana! A historic victory that puts a check on one of the final boxes for Messi that was left open. De Paul, Di Maria, and Emiliano Martinez all looked wonderful against Brazil. We appreciate how Neymar congratulated Messi even in his moment of despair.   We also discuss Italy and their fantastic Euros that culminated in a dramatic win against Harry Kane and England. We mostly discuss how Southgate's penalty strategy was flawed in subbing in Rashford and Sancho late, while having 19 year old Saka take the final penalty. MESSI DID IT!!! We still can't believe it.
