We react to Tottenham's 3–0 win away at Everton: a clinical, professional performance built on set-piece precision and defensive control. We break down Micky van de Ven's brace, Pape Sarr's late goal, and Guglielmo Vicario's key saves that secured another clean sheet. We talk about Thomas Frank's growing influence, the balance between pragmatism and style, and what this win says about Spurs' development into a team that can grind results on tough away days. We also dig into the bigger picture: how set-pieces have become a defining weapon, what Van de Ven's rise means for the back line, and whether Spurs can sustain this form in the race for the top four. A good week to have a bad week? Probably. But for FPL managers who started any of Joe Rodon, Bryan Mbeumo or 23 point scoring Micky Van De Ven it was probably a good week. Suj and James even managed to sell one of the few other popular players who hit a double digit return, in Pedro Porro, who assisted one of Van De Ven's two in Tottenham's 3-0 win at Everton. But was the win as good as the scoreline suggests? All the games reviewed as the three promoted clubs all won, struggling West and Wolves were two of those on the wrong end of those results, while Chelsea were surprisingly beaten by high flying Sunderland at Stamford Bridge. Liverpool lost again, this time at Brentford, and Manchester City were beaten too at Aston Villa, whilst Arsenal extended their lead with victory over Crystal Palace. Eagles assets will be popular this week, as will again Arsenal players, and Mbeumo will also be popular having scored twice in Manchester United's victory against Brighton which means they've now won three in a row. Everton's issues were laid bare in Everton's defeat to Tottenham - a relatively even game saw Spurs stick three past Everton with no reply. The team suddenly looks imbalanced. There seems to be a lack of trust among certain players, and the manager clearly doesn't trust all of his summer signings. What needs to change ahead of Sunderland to get things back on track? Jack is joined by Phil to break down Tottenham's dominant display away at Everton, from Micky van de Ven's brace to the growing importance of set-pieces under Thomas Frank. Are Spurs evolving into a more pragmatic, mature side? Spurs have climbed to third in the Premier League after a solid, but strangely unexciting win away at whatever Everton's new stadium is called. The first team to score from a set-piece against Everton, as well as being the first team to beat them at their new ground in the Premier League. Thomas Frank's introduction of Kolo Muani from the beginning was a welcome addition, regardless of the Palhinha x Bentancur double pivot. How good are Spurs? Do we know?
