How to navigate through our culture with a Biblical worldview
How in the world can a typewriter collector and repairman lead to such a thought provoking life? As I sit down with Charles Justice, one of my most favorite people on this planet, I found out what makes this man tick. I couldn't help to investigate what drives him to excellence as he presses beyond his limitations to create his own journey. Not many of us think about leaving a body of work behind for the next generation. So in order to do this we talked about effectiveness vs our knowledge that is untested. Covering topics from Hollywood controlling the narrative of our worldview to strategies on how to protect your creativity from the daily grind. This might be the conversation you’re needing to start the new year. Enjoy!
Most people self-grade their Christian walk, but the real truth lies in our real life results. Here in this lecture, Pete Orta is forcing the audience to not evaluate what they know about the Bible, but how effective their knowledge is in the heat of battle. Enjoy!

Meet my very good friend and brother Willy Peters, a Dutchman, who pulled his family out of the Mennonite faith in search of the true message that Jesus Christ preached. So I got to roll with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and 2019 Austin Open Champion, Gabe Hernandez. While I was in Lubbock Texas I took the opportunity to set up my mics at his gym (Base Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) and start up a conversation about how this sport is so good for the human spirit. We agreed on the benefits we gain when we train our minds to outlast our bodies. But what first caught my attention, and why I wanted to do this podcast, was the culture this dude has built within his gym. I asked him to give us advice for every belt color he experienced so that there is something in it for all of us. My hope for this podcast is to expose more people to the advantages that this gentle art has to offer. So if life is paralyzing you, go to your local gym, and keep that vessel movin’ with BJJ! Don’t quit, don’t lose confidence! Oss!
This one is for my creative souls out there who are still on your journey to finding your voice! If I ever had a long lost twin from birth it would be this dude, producer, writer, artist, thinker, and Renaissance man, Scott Faris. Our conversation carried us to various topics that encompass our creative worldview. We spoke on how our limitations open up new creative territory in our minds. You might be inspired to hear how two analog men survived the digital revolution and how understanding both eras comes with some privileges. We also hit some hot buttons like how a child’s creativity is squashed by today’s “scoreboard mentality” we see in our educational system. But we eventually land the plane by cautioning creatives how dangerous it can be to never come back to reality and "edit life". It was such a rich conversation and I hope you guys enjoy this podcast as much as I did.
