In S1E5 we talk to Shaun Nemorin. His love of community football is layered with a uniquely global perspective after more than a decade of humanitarian work across 4 continents.  Shaun's intrigue of social issues began as a migrant growing up in Australia, watching and playing football across Sydney with his refereeing Dad before spending more than a decade working with UNHCR across different conflict zones.  Today, Shaun’s work with STARTTS is underpinned by community healing. There’s a place for everyone, and it’s about meeting people where they are.  His personal journey with Sydney Soccer Stories recognised teams built for the community and although it acknowledges the inclusion and exclusion of football today, Shaun sees it as much as his own personal healing journey.
