Lowri Drakley is a textile artist based in Snowdonia, who also dabbles in creative coaching. She has trained in fine art and textiles, with experience in fashion, retail, artistry and quilting. She spends her time foraging for natural products for dyeing that she uses with recycled materials to create and make quilts and other textile products. She weaves her work with stories and passion and allows the natural world to nurture and dictate her work. Rudo Nondo, is a creative design practitioner who works across rural and urban areas of Zimbabwe and Eswatini and is currently the country coordinator for Fashion Revolution ZImbabwe. We discuss the importance of creating products as a means of craft, heritage and telling the story of community. Rudo talks about the need for work, how to create and build products and projects in varying communities, but also how to leave and move on to the next product, and the next community.
