The spacecraft will autonomously track and observe this 3km wide space rock, gathering crucial data that could shed light on its peculiar formation and geological history. This encounter serves as a vital rehearsal for Lucy's upcoming mission to explore Jupiter's Trojan asteroids, promising insights into the early solar system.A New Upper Limit for Neutrino MassNext, we discuss a groundbreaking study that has established a new upper limit for the mass of the elusive neutrino, now determined to be less than 0.45 electron volts. This significant finding not only narrows the particle's mass range but also challenges existing theories in particle physics, pushing the boundaries of our understanding of the universe's fundamental forces.Intriguing Martian Richie OutcropsAdditionally, we explore the fascinating discoveries made by NASA's Mars Perseverance rover on the rim of Jezero Crater. The rover has uncovered a diverse array of rock types, providing a unique glimpse into Martian history and the planet's potential for past habitability. What's the best way to learn copywriting? Could it be hand-writing sales pages and other great copy from expert copywriters like Mel Martin and Gary Bencivenga? My guest for this episode of The Copywriter Club Podcast is Derek Johanson, the writer who created CopyHour, a program designed to help you learn to write by hand-copying great copy. We also talked about getting affiliates, mentoring, and a lot more. If you want to improve your copywriting skills, be sure to listen to this episode (and click here to learn about the CopyHour program). Click the play button below, or scroll down for a full transcript. Stuff to check out: The CopyHour Course Gary Bencivenga's Olive Oil Sales Page The Copywriter Club Facebook Group The Copywriter Underground Full Transcript: Rob Marsh: What's the best way to learn copywriting? Would it surprise you that handwriting great copy is possibly the most successful technique? This is The Copywriter Club Podcast. There must be something like a thousand different courses for copywriters to learn how to write copy. And probably another thousand more that talk about content—as if it's a separate skill set. And there are probably an additional thousand more free videos in places like YouTube that promise to teach you the skills you need to succeed as a copywriter. With that many choices out there, you would think the world would be crammed full of phenomenally skilled copywriters, but it's not. This should tell us that not all courses or workshops that promise to teach writers how to write copy and content actually work. So what does work? Is there a course out there that many copywriters talk about or recommend when it comes to writing engaging sales or conversion copy? And it turns out there is. One course recommended by people like Dan Ferrari, Chris Orzechowski, Elise Savaki, and hundreds of others is called CopyHour. Unlike many other courses, CopyHour focuses on handwriting great copy. Does that really work? I asked Derek Johanson, the writer who created CopyHour to be my guest for this episode of The Copywriter Club Podcast to answer questions like… why does hand-writing teach copy structure and pacing where other methods don't appear to have the same level of success? We talked about the genesis and evolution of the CopyHour program and what it includes… things like writing great offers, writing headlines and bullets, and how Derek has improved the course over time. Now I want to be upfront about something… I came to this interview as a bit of a skeptic when it comes to hand-writing copy. I'm all in on studying good examples of emails, sales pages, and other good copy. In fact, I have a swipe file with more than 500 different sales pages that I've saved to study… those swipes are part of The Copywriter Underground… But handwriting? I wasn't so sure… I think Derek may have changed my mind. And if you're a skeptic on this topic, you may want to hear what he says about the science of handwriting and learning. If you're convinced by the end of this episode that you want to know more, you can go to thecopywriterclub.com/copyhour to find out more about Derek's course. It's open for new members the week this episode goes live, so check it out today… thecopywriterclub.com/copyhour Before we get to my interview with Derek, this episode is brought to you by The Copywriter Underground. You've heard me talk about how we've recently rebuilt The Underground dashboard to make finding the ideas and insights you need easier. But as I started recreating this new dashboard, it occurred to me that no one has time to watch more than 70 different workshops—even for those workshops that help you gain the skills and strategies you need to build your business. So I've taken more than 30 of those workshops on finding clients, having sales calls, using A.I., building authority on LinkedIn, and dozens of others… and I've created playbooks that break down the ideas in the workshops into...

We first aired this episode 2 years ago when the Philadelphia Eagles were preparing to meet the Kansas City Chiefs at the Super Bowl. With a rematch scheduled this Sunday, we figured a replay of one of our favorite episodes was in order. From 2023 - Joining us for the first time is Erik Johanson, Philadelphia sports fanatic. In the last 5 months, Philly fans have gotten quite a bit of excitement with both the Phillies and the Eagles competing in championship games. We talk to Erik about how his love for Phladelphia and it's sports teams developed, and how it has become a thin place for him. And we explore one more important piece of Erik's story: his complicated relationship with his father and where Erik is left after his father's death last summer.
In this episode, Julian and Mike introduce Allison Johansson, an expert on managing stress and trauma. The discussion revolves around techniques for dealing with acute and chronic stress, using unconventional but effective methods such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and polyvagal theory. Allison explains how to identify and address stress responses, comparing them to a small child seeking attention. She elaborates on the physiological and psychological aspects of stress and trauma, offers quick tips for managing day-to-day stress, and highlights the importance of feeling safe. The dialogue also touches on specific stress triggers for veterinarians and strategies to cope with burnout. Allison concludes with a 60-second CPD segment on finding safety in stress and announces her upcoming book on well-being in veterinary medicine. ★ Support this podcast on Patreon ★

Welcome back ATO Family One of this shows mission is to create a platform to educate our listeners in the very complex and layered conversation of mental health and the many modalities and treatments that are available. This episode is one of our most information based shows as we take a deep dive into EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy). This show has talked about EMDR at length to provide as much information as we could on this trauma therapy but we have not discussed ART at length so we thought we should host some subject matter experts to lay it own there for us to we can better understand what we are walking into. Today's guests are sisters that started the Healing Counselor Center and are trained in both EMDR and ART as well as CISM to help those in need before, during, and after crisis. Welcome on Laurie Todd and Heidi Johanson to the stage. EMDR vs ART EMDR is more cognitive, while ART is more visually oriented. EMDR guides people to replace negative thoughts with positive ones, while ART focuses on changing the visual and sensory aspects of memories. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements, taps, or tones. ART incorporates elements from other therapeutic techniques, such as CBT, mindfulness, and guided imagery. EMDR is designed to reprocess traumatic memories to reduce their emotional impact. ART focuses on using creativity to explore emotions, gain insight, and promote healing. ART is often faster than EMDR, with sessions usually lasting 1–5. EMDR uses an 8-phase protocol that can take longer, depending on the complexity of the trauma. www.healingcounselingcenter.com/mckinney/

About two weeks ago, thieves targeted a major Santo Spirits shipment as it crossed the border into the United States. The tequila company is co-owned by celebrity chef Guy Fieri and musician Sammy Hagar.First reported by People, thieves hijacked a pair of Santo trucks carrying an estimated $1 million in spirits in an incredible caper that continues to unfold as the investigation continues. The cargo included 4,040 cases of tequila, nearly 25,000 bottles. Some bottles included a special aged añejo that took 39 months to produce. The trucks had just crossed into Laredo, Texas, and were headed to distributors in California and Pennsylvania. Neither made it and Santo's logistics partner, Johanson, was thrown off by some sophisticated technology.Download and listen to the audio version below and click here to subscribe to the Today in Manufacturing podcast.

Join me this week as I have a conversation with Brian Johanson, Director of the Erie City Mission, about September 11th! Brian grew up and lived most of his adult life in New York City. On the events of September 11th, 2001, he was a director at Bowery Mission, which is 12 blocks from ground zero. He was also a chaplain for the New York City Police. He takes the opportunity to talk through what that day and the months to follow were like for him in that position.
The Allman Brothers Band, established in 1969 in Georgia, stands as a cornerstone of Southern rock and American music history. Founded by brothers Duane and Gregg Allman, along with Dickey Betts, Butch Trucks, Berry Oakley, and Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson, the band was instrumental in blending rock, blues, jazz, and country music into a genre-defining sound. Their innovative use of dual lead guitars and extended improvisational jams set them apart, creating a live experience that was both powerful and deeply emotional. Tragically, Duane Allman's death in a motorcycle accident in 1971 was a devastating blow, but the band soldiered on, with guitarist Dickey Betts stepping up as a leading creative force. The subsequent album, Eat a Peach (1972), featured both live and studio tracks. Throughout the 70s, the Allman Brothers Band produced a series of critically acclaimed albums, intertwining guitar lines earned them a massive following. However, the late 70s brought internal tensions, substance abuse issues, and the death of bassist Berry Oakley, leading to several breakups and reunions. The band experienced a resurgence in the late 80s and 90s and officially disbanded in 2014. During this time Gregg Allman shared a complex and evolving relationship with his son, Devon. Born in 1972 Devon grew up largely separated from his famous father due to Gregg's demanding career and his battle with substance abuse. Despite this distance, Devon was profoundly influenced by his father's music and the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band. As Devon grew, he pursued his own path in music, forming the band Honeytribe and later joining the Royal Southern Brotherhood. Despite their time apart, music became a bridge between father and son. Gregg and Devon reconnected and shared the stage at various times. Following Gregg's death in 2017, Devon continued to carry the torch of Southern rock through The Allman Betts Band, a group he formed with Duane Betts, son of Allman Brothers guitarist Dickey Betts. The Allman Betts Band re-captures the spirit of the Allman Brothers and the chemistry between Devon and Duane is palpable. Their collaboration is not just a continuation of their family legacies but a creative partnership that has revitalised the Southern rock genre for the modern era. Today With Rachael Bozsik-Johanson: Today on The Inner Edit I am with Rachael Bozsik Johanson—luxury strategist for female entrepreneurs. Rachael is a true esteemed advisor whose clients include Sandra Funk, Kathy Kuo to LuAnn Nigara. Her goal is to help women level up their businesses to the top 3% of their industry or niche. Today, Rachael and I are talking about what luxury means, how to know if you are even interested in moving in the luxury direction, how to position yourself to shift toward high-ticket offers, and how to get out of your own way (and be kind to yourself in the process). Pick It Apart [2:00] Rachael unpacks what luxury really means and how to know if it aligns with your goals. [9:35] Christie and Rachael discuss the importance of stepping back and realizing when goals and dreams change. [17:01] Rachael explains why making your clients feel safe is important in your messaging and networking. [24:51] Christie asks Rachael how to keep moving toward your goals when you're feeling bogged down and overwhelmed. [32:03] Rachael shares how to know when you're in the wrong direction with your business. Christie Rocha's and Rachael Bozsik-Johanson's Ah-Ha Moments “I remember feeling like I had all of the accomplishments and was hitting the right goals. But I didn't feel good at all, I actually felt burnt out. And I think when I sat down and realized that I was hitting the goals and still didn't feel good, I knew something had to be missing here.” -Rachael “We underestimate ourselves a lot. Sometimes it takes someone else to look at what we're doing and say, ‘This is a big idea. This is helpful. This was really impactful.'” -Christie More About Rachael Bozsik-Johanson From the stages of Harvard Business School, to pages of Architectural Digest, Rachael Bozsik Johanson is regarded as the in-demand Luxury Strategist for interior designers seeking to become a top 3% firm. With a storied career monetizing personal brands, her signature methodology “The Four P's” leverages positioning, press, paid speaking and pipeline filling partnerships. Think - being positioned as the “go to” call for luxury new builds, press in Elle Decor, paid speaking at High Point Market and a partnership with a custom builder to fill the pipeline for you. Rachael is incredibly selective in the clients she serves, as the majority double their sales a year after her esteemed advising. It's safe to say she was born to do this work and it is miles from traditional consulting. Her clients have ranged from Sandra Funk, Kathy Kuo to LuAnn Nigara not to mention tons of incredibly talented up and comers with a deep desire to build a profitable firm. As a lifelong student of design & fashion, Rachael is a trained interior designer from High Point University, licensed realtor and recognized tastemaker. Most recently, her wedding was covered by The New York Times. On weekends, she loves sipping her matcha & collaborating with her husband to grow their “on-brand” portfolio. Naturally, it encompasses investing in real estate, startups and collecting interesting art. Currently, the duo is planning a trip to Ancient Egypt and exploring a large-scale remodel of a 1920's historic estate. Behind many popular drink brands—Mike's Hard Lemonade, Celsius Energy Drinks, Pabst Blue Ribbon—is BevSource, a St. Paul based company that provides beverage development, sourcing, and production—everything from supplying the can that holds your beer to helping develop and test an entirely new drink idea. Today BevSource is one of the largest packing and ingredient distributors in North America, with $250 million in annual revenue. Janet Johanson started the company in 2002 when she was just 24 years old, with three years of experience in the industry. “I just said yes,” she says. Johanson talks timing: from knowing when to take on private equity and start a board to knowing when it was time to step away from the day-to-day operations. “As CEO, I got stuck in detail,” she says. “By cutting my hands off, it made me think differently about who we partner with…and how I can make an impact.” Following our conversation with Johanson, we go Back to the Classroom with the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business. Tera Galloway is an associate professor in the Department of Management who studies the craft brewing industry. She explains the idea of “coopetition,” where companies realize is better for their industry to work together than to compete. She talks about the importance of building a network and the critical moment for entrepreneurs, when they realize their out of their depth. “It doesn't mean you have to leave; you need to get more help.”
