The righteous shall live by faith. Live above your circumstances. To realize Christ in every circumstance is to know him.
Living in a dependency on what others think of you and how you measure up according to works is it self a form of bondage. How do you live? Living and being justified by faith in God, not by works, is freedom. Live by faith, not by works.
Are you going to live by faith or buy works of the law?
Job is a message for modern day man. Jesus Ordains Brokenness. The new relationship with yourself. When you quit, trusting yourself, you realize you are a sinner and are far from God. A new relationship with God. When you repent you allow God to forgive you, and bless you with his love. A new relationship with others. When you pray for others and forgive others as God forgive you.
God's ways are above our ways. Elihu talks of God's greatness. The Lord answers Job.
What do you seek? Seek to serve, not success. Self righteousness versus lack of spiritual wisdom. Wisdom is greater than age, money, power, and human success. The self-righteous Job, vs the three wise guys. An argument is a failure of acknowledgment, of one another, and of God.
Judgments and observations burn. Jesus ordains brokenness.
Job replies to his friends, God's majesty is unsearchable. Job continues, I will maintain my integrity. Job continues. Where is wisdom?
Job asks why do bad, wicked people get away with so much? Why does God let it happen? Bildad reflects, if Job has it been broken, if Job's heart is in the right place, and who can be right with God?
Eliphaz speaks, Job's wickedness is great. Job replies, where is God?
Bildad speaks, God punishes the wicked. Job replies, my Redeemer lives.
Job and his friends go back-and-forth. Wisdom from men without acknowledging wisdom of God.
Zophar speaks, Job, you deserve worse. Job replies, the Lord has done this. Job continues, I will still hope in God.
Job continues, my life has no hope. Bildad speaks, Job should repent.
Satan attacks Job‘s health. Job's three friends. Job laments his birth.
