For the first time ever, we cram a podcast full of so much inane rambling that we're forced to split it into two episodes! So this week it's just Bring A Thing, but a long and thoughtful one, in which we celebrate the good old British tradition of taking the piss out of Nazis, reveal the horrible secret of Disneyland's death cannon, share our favourite pizza recipes, and laugh a little hysterically at our possible impending doom.

In another lonely two-hander, Euan and Alex discuss the ethics of the true crime genre, wonder whether Americans have letterboxes, and give the listeners tips on how to steal each other's mail. They also talk exhaustively about the relative merits of windows and doors, feeling sick at Scotland's number one theme park, and one of the most tragic/hilarious moments in Swedish history.

Are Venus flytraps the badasses of the plant world? Why don't people hate Batman for being rich? Is Columbo the reason Mark isn't married? And who the hell keeps putting mayo in all the otherwise decent sandwiches at the supermarket?! We attempt to answer all these questions on today's EvE! Then, in a rather self-indulgent edition of The Thing About That, we celebrate ourselves, fantasise about being Internet famous, and throw major shade at certain other podcasts. You know who you are! (Just kidding, we're not talking about you, please don't hate us.)

We kick off today's episode with our longest and perhaps most contentious discussion yet, as Euan makes a bold play for number one. Afterwards, things get steamy for James, we say bubbling mud so many times that Alex is no longer sure it's a real thing, and we all try to avoid being locked in a toilet by the Bothy Folk. Disclaimer: don't let this episode's artwork fool you; taking a dog to a sauna in real life would almost certainly be more distressing than charming.

Today we get sick of waiting for Halloween and decide to use our 13th episode as an excuse to talk about scary stuff! Alex goes down a creepy YouTube rabbit hole, James sneaks into abandoned… More

This episode gets off to a fiery start as Mark wants to ban the wearing of shorts, leading to all manner of unfortunate accusations being flung around. Once we're all friends again, Alex tries to get over never having been a contestant on Knightmare, we rate our appendages (less dirty than it sounds) and Gavin comes up with a brilliant yet flawed solution to the eternal problem of where to store carrier bags while walking round a supermarket.

Today, the elusive Gavin finally joins us! He immediately sparks a thoughtful discussion on the ethics of laughing at someone walking into a glass pane, while Mark mysteriously loses a Sunday and Alex wants to rename artificial banana flavouring to "paffledon". Then, after a vaguely disappointing excursion to a wonder of the ancient world, we discuss some of the best (and best worst) films ever made.

Join us as we both celebrate and bemoan the start of summer! On this uncomfortably sunny day we talk about happy things like Alanna getting married, Euan's transcendent experience with a naked guy called David, and Alex... well, Alex mostly just complains about his own disgusting body. But stick around for hot Edinburgh Fringe tips and reminiscences about magical days of doing absolutely nothing of importance (before we started this very worthwhile podcast, obviously).

It's confession time! Euan admits that the music has never flowed through him, Alanna feels guilty for destroying the world's forests with her Nutella habit, and Alex shares the shocking truth behind his childhood love of East 17. Plus, somewhere in the middle we attempt to use our questionable diplomacy skills to avert an interstellar conflict. All in a day's work!

In an accidental piece of amateur theatre, Euan and Alex live out an entire life over the course of today's episode. In the first segment we frolic with our inner children (not in a weird way), giggling at Furbies and the colour blue. Then, as the episode progresses, we grow up before your very eyes, making the important rite of passage from T-shirts to shirts, then going on to ramble about politics like two old men in a pub. A tour de force, you might say (if you're looking for a phrase to use in your iTunes review).

We don't shy away from the difficult questions in this, our most philosophical episode yet. Is reality really worth all the fuss? Are smartphones killing society? Will teleportation snuff out your consciousness like a candle? Would you rather die chasing a cheese down a hill or buried under a mountain of slippers? Yeah, it gets quite dark in places, but stick with it - we also talk about George Foreman grills.

This week we revive a very 90s rivalry, as Mario and Sonic go head to head! Luckily Heather is on hand to translate "it's a-me, Mario!" into French, while Alex talks with worrying authority about the erotic side of Sonic. Elsewhere in the show, we relive our traumatic theme park experiences, Scott robs the term "national treasure" of all meaning by bestowing it on Jeremy Kyle, and the panel considers crowning a new official worst thing in the world.

In our most topical episode yet, we talk about the Eurovision Song Contest for ages, and Val tries to brainwash us into placing it above New York. Meanwhile, Alex holds an intervention for himself, Euan waxes lyrical about swearing, Mark worries over the environmental footprint of coffee pods, and we add our first two smells to the list.

In today's episode, we celebrate America in an attempt to appeal to a lucrative international market! Plus: Euan wanders the streets looking for loose change, Val reminisces about when her only friend was a balloon, Mark reveals his man-crush and Alex rages against capitalism. Oh, and for Cram Session we all learn about an animal we'd only ever heard of before as an answer on Pointless.

Building on last week's good start, today we begin to ask the bigger questions. Is our only purpose in life to preserve our teeth as well as possible? Have we spent more time in our lives eating porridge or reading The Prisoner of Azkaban? And is the very idea of ranking an inanimate object higher than a country of 8 million people inherently offensive? Hopefully not, or we'll be in trouble after this...
