Disney's sequel sensation continues at the box office, as Zootopia 2 broke records this last weekend when it opened to the highest global box office for an animated film of ALL TIME with $556 million. Additionally, an untitled film in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise is set for theatrical release on Dec. 22, 2028.Prime Video's series adaptation of the popular God Of War video game has added Emmy-winning director Frederick E.O. Toye who has worked on Shōgun and The Boys to direct the first two episodes of the action-adventure series from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios. He joins Ronald D. Moore, the series' showrunner, writer and executive producer.
