Celebrating a legacy! The Satchmo SummerFest is in its 18th year in the Crescent City. All to honor the jazz man himself, Louis Armstrong. Each year the festival celebrates his legacy with good eats and local bands who bring the soulfulness to life just as Satchmo did!

A Girl's Trip like no other!  Essence Fest 2018 showed up and showed out in it's 24th year, breaking records while reminding everyone...Our Black is Beautiful.  Black women from around the world came together in celebration of one another.  The Festival Girls give you just a taste of the chocolatey goodness you missed out on.

Wristbands, alcohol, bandanas and condoms?? The road to Coachella can be a rough one. Battling for tickets to finding un-flakable friends. But when it's meant to be for you to attend one of the hottest (literally too damn hot) and largest festivals in the world, it will all come together! Plus is it truly Beyonce' and everyone else? Children are truly a blessing especially the Carter twins. What if Beyonce' did perform at Coachella last year? Would the 2018 line-up still be worth a listen without the Queen herself?

Can we say Buku fun?! A first for the Festival Girls, Buku Fest proved to be not only LIT but a great experience. With a carefree crowd and some of today's most popular artists how could you not have fun...dancing with your dogs in the nighttime. Unless a train causes you to miss one of the hottest female DJ's in the country.
