Funny News: Kirkland Dunks, Minivan Dads & Rating Your Friend's House Like Zillow

The Rizzuto Show

Play Episode Listen Later Feb 4, 2026 68:27

This funny news show starts with Valentine's Day confusion and quickly spirals into a full-on identity crisis. Rizz is possibly spending Valentine's Day alone, possibly with DJ Pauly D, definitely not wearing pants—and that's just the beginning. From not knowing zodiac signs (but somehow surviving marriage) to realizing that birthdays close to Valentine's Day are a strategic advantage, the crew kicks things off with peak relationship chaos. Then comes the house rating heard 'round St. Louis. Rafe's new place gets evaluated like a Zillow listing with emotional baggage, complete with debates over shoveling etiquette, floating stairs, blind dogs, and the slowest move-in process known to man. Somehow, this leads to lunch, which turns into a bit, which turns into strangers questioning reality as Rafe pretends to be a superfan in public. Normal stuff. From there, the show leans hard into the realization that everyone is officially old now. Grocery stores are playing bangers. Bars are confusing. Costco is no longer a chore—it's an experience. Socks slap. Grapes are elite. Clothes are “not that bad.” And the biggest shock of all? Costco and Nike teaming up to release Kirkland Dunks that immediately resell for stupid money. The dads are not okay. The episode wraps with minivan supremacy, sneaker generational debates, knowing where the nearest hospital is at all times, and the quiet acceptance that this daily comedy show is now powered by dad logic, utility vehicles, and bulk pricing. Laugh through the pain—it's cheaper than therapy.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Send us a textEver wonder what we use for continued success? Today we unpack our favorite things that keep our training consistent and productive: the clothes that match meet-day feel, the shoes that stabilize your base, the pre-workout strategy that fuels hard sets, and the accessories that build muscle where it counts. We start with the foundation: outfits and footwear that make lifts feel the same in training and competition. Then we tackle pre-workout and carbs, comparing coffee and stim-free formulas to Gorilla Mode, and sharing quick carbs like honey, dates, and applesauce that turn sluggish sessions into strong volume. We also talk warm-ups like thoracic openers, hip circle activation, and rotator cuff work that respect your time while preparing the body for success. We also share honest gear favorites Pioneer belts, Friction Labs chalk, Obsidian ammonia and more. Recovery stays simple, a whey protein shake or a protein bar you'll actually eat, deep-tissue bodywork or a guided stretching routine, and as much quality sleep as you can manage. If you're serious about powerlifting and or your fitness and are ready for  practical, repeatable steps that help you reach your goals and take your strength to the next level, this one's for you. Why You Should Not Ignore Numbness (Hands, Feet and Face) | Ep. 357

Numbness is not just your limb falling asleep; it is a warning sign from your nervous system that communication has been cut off. In Episode 357 of The Prime Podcast, Dr. Skip Wyss and Dr. Julie Wyss break down one of the most common yet ignored symptoms in healthcare: Numbness. Whether it is tingling in your hands at night, facial paralysis scares, or the burning sensation of sciatica, these are red flags of nerve compression. We discuss why masking these symptoms with cortisone shots or anti-inflammatories often leads to further injury and why athletes would rather feel pain than nothing at all. Dr. Skip explains the anatomy of the neck and lower back to show exactly where the "kink in the hose" occurs and why treating the wrist for hand numbness often misses the root cause in the spine. In This Episode You Will Learn: Facial Numbness: How to distinguish between a stroke, Bell's Palsy, and an upper cervical subluxation. The Cortisone Trap: Why injections only reduce inflammation temporarily but do not fix the mechanical pressure on the nerve. Hand Numbness: Why tingling hands at night is often a neck alignment issue (C4-T1), not just a mattress problem. Sciatica and Foot Drop: The specific signs of disc herniation and when you need to seek immediate medical attention. Raynauds Phenomenon: Why cold, white fingers are actually a nervous system regulation issue. Pain vs. Numbness: Why pain is a helpful communicator and numbness is dangerous for injury prevention. The initial goal was to fund our 2025 Best of the Irish & Celtic Music Podcast album. Happily that goal was reached within three days of the start of the campaign. Now we have a secondary stretch goal to fund the… IRISH & CELTIC MUSIC PODFEST AND ARTS MARKET This is a one - day music festival and arts market that will take place on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at The Lost Druid Brewery in Avondale Estates, GA, 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta. There are four bands performing at the festival. I am performing one show solo and one show with May Will Bloom, where my daughter takes the lead. Kinfolk will join us as well as I mentioned last week. But the final band performing at the festival is a 3 - piece version of The Muckers, our local Celtic punk band. That will complete our lineup. Follow our event page on Facebook for more details. Or Follow us for Free on our Patreon page. Now my next goal is to raise $3200 so that all of the bands are paid a decent wage and to promote our first - ever Celtic festival. To that end, I added three new rewards for Kickstarter. Each is a chance to sponsor individual bands at the festival. When you do, you'll get one of the first album pins from each of these amazing Celtic bands. That's because we are highlighting album pins at the festival as well, as another means to promote the music of bands. Our album pins are wooden lapel pins themed to a particular album released by a band. The buyer gets a digital download of the album, then they can wear their album! There's just 8 days left on this Kickstarter. So please make a pledge to support Celtic culture through music. THANK YOU PATRONS OF THE PODCAST! This week on Youth Group Chronicles, Sam is joined by Sha Racks and John Scarborough for an episode built around one painfully awkward youth group moment that spirals way faster than anyone expects, all sparked by a harmless comment about mismatched socks that goes very, very wrong. From there, the stories only escalate—camp chaos fueled by a misunderstood bottle of “relieving powder,” pranks that cross every possible line, games that reveal way too much about a student's imagination, well-meaning leaders accidentally shouting the wrong acronym across campus, and multiple moments that end in emergency rooms instead of evening devotions. It's a mix of secondhand embarrassment, bad decisions, and youth ministry trauma that proves once again that no matter how innocent it starts, youth group always finds a way to take a turn…See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Aaron Schram joins us today to talk about Schram Vineyards, a local Waconia winery that Andy and Melissa went to for their anniversary. Small business is tough, and owning a vineyard is no exception. Are you making your days count? Is triathlon your fuel for life or is life your fuel for triathlon? It's easy to put too much pressure on ourselves with a precise target, but the truth is, going inward and staying the course will take care of most of it. We owe it to ourselves to get the most out of triathlon and life but only have so much bandwidth to always be in "chase mode." Today we look at ways to pull back the external and focus more on making real, internal improvements, which ultimately lead to long term satisfaction and real growth.
