Jack Harrington sits down with Tanner Linsley to talk about the evolution of TanStack and where it's headed next. They explore how early projects like React Query and React Table influenced the headless philosophy behind TanStack Router, why virtualized lists matter at scale, and what makes forms in React so challenging. Tanner breaks down TanStack Start and its client-first approach to SSR, routing, and data loading, and shares his perspective on React Server Components, modern authentication tradeoffs, and composable tooling. The episode wraps with a look at TanStack's roadmap and what it takes to sustainably maintain open source at scale. We want to hear from you! How did you find us? Did you see us on Twitter? It feels like if we had to pick a country of the year for 2025. It would be Poland. We've highlighted a lot of beers from the country this year. Even this calendar we've already had two beers from Poland. Day 14 features another brewery. Stu Mostow collaborated with Wylams to create Newcastle Donut.

Dan enjoys his last Indian Ladder Farms Cidery and Brewery Cider Donut cider while recapping his experience at the NY Cider Festival. Indian Ladder Farms Cidery and Brewery Cider Donut STYLE: Cider – Herbed / Spiced / HoppedINGREDIENTS: Cinnamon, vanillaABV: 6.1%IBU: N/AAVAILABILITY: 16 oz. cans/Draft (Limited)Stats above taken from the brewery’s can and website. Appearance Straw yellow and a touch hazy with a small, white head and some lacing on the glass. Aroma Fresh apples, cinnamon, and vanilla, with a hint at acidity behind it. Taste Liquid cider donut with a hint of tart on the finish, but not too cloyingly sweet. Mouthfeel Off dry with a lighter mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. Overall I know you all love cider donuts, so this is a hedonistic cider for sure. This is a great cider to have on its own, either as a snack or after a meal. I wonder if this could be gently warmed? Pairing-wise, I would go with apple-based desserts and/or some ice cream or custard equivalents. I had such a blast at the festival…I HIGHLY recommend it. If you are just hearing about the NY Cider Festival care of the New York Cider Association from this, I hope to see you there next year! Cheers and remember: Life’s a tap…drink up ’til it’s dry. This week, I'm thrilled to welcome Massachusetts Fourth District Representative Jake Auchincloss to the podcast. Congressman Auchincloss is serving his third term in office and currently works on the House Committee on Energy & Commerce with a particular focus on issues including healthcare, clean energy, gun violence, and a strong middle class. From his bio:Jake was born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts, the son of a surgeon and a scientist. They showed him the value of curiosity and hard work. From the moment he could read, Jake loved American history. After graduating from Harvard College, Jake joined the Marines. He commanded infantry in Afghanistan and special operations in Panama.Upon returning home, Jake continued his service as a three-term city councilor in Newton. While working at City Hall on nights and weekends, Jake built a career in business, running product development at both a Fortune 100 insurance company and a cybersecurity startup. He has degrees in economics and finance from Harvard University and MIT Sloan.Today, Jake lives in Newton with his wife, Michelle, and their children, Teddy, Grace, and Audrey (along with their Labrador Retriever, Donut). After a decade defined by division and distrust in politics, Congressman Auchincloss believes America is ready to rebuild the country and civic life.
