DaRONA is on the rise and the “shelter in place” order has everyone in a new reality. Since the media is pumping nothing but doom and gloom while everybody goes ape on the Charmin, I decided to change POV’s to see if there where the opportunities in this crisis. The homie Director Kelvin Taylor and host of the VIBEZ podcast...MeMe Wallace aka MeMe

Influence is one thing.....celebrity influence is another! But in this day and age of "show me what you got!", selfie mania and bossism, everyone has the ability to become a local celebrity in their own right with little to no substance for any number of unimportant reasons. So is society mirroring its celebrity culture in more than one way? Does local influence trump celebrity influence?
Here I go with Part 3 to The Intellectual Series for Black History Month. This time I hit my guys from Thee Breakroom Podcast to come thru and join the convo. "Good PAC/Bad PAC" was dope, so we back at it with "Segregation vs Integration 2020"...an in-depth look at whether integration has worked and whether or not segregation could ever work. Of course the detours added some super interesting angles to the convo. Tune in and enjoy!
Here I go with Episode #2 of The Intellectual Series where I'm breaking down the epic 1965 debate at the prestigious Cambridge University between intellectual heavyweights James Baldwin and William F. Buckley Jr. in an effort to highlight the psychology of the debate and the participants themselves.
It's Black History Month BABY! I wanted to so something special for you guys so I came up with The Intellectual Series, where I will be breaking down speeches, debates, and discussions from a few of my favorite Black leaders in an effort to highlight their mindset, oratory skills and shear genius at wielding thought as their weapons of choice during some of the scariest times in our country. I'll also contrast they're time against our reality to see what has changed, what hasn't and whether we're the better for it. So I'm kicking off the series with Malcolm X's discussion at Berkley in 1963. Tune in and enjoy!......Get This D!
Ok, so you know how women have a biological clock? well so do men. Yes, it's not talked about much at all.....like AT ALL. So I figured I'd take a swing at it and see the correlations.
I'm adding another edition to the Mixed Signals Series and talking about physical/visual misques that may be at the heart of some of these mixed signals currently being sent between men and women today. Always a great time when my band mate Meme Wallace aka MeMe P! of the Taylor Larue Crew is on the scene, so tune in and and ask yourself......"do you unconsciously send mixed signals? or are you fully aware of how your body language is used in your messaging?"
"Life is too short...."...but...do you really appreciate that statement? I'm adding to the series with a convo featuring my lovely friends...Creatives Chanel Dickerson and Ryan Watson. Director Kelvz drops thru with some "change for the plate" as we broaden the scope of this discussion and dig into the woman's side of things.
Join me as I welcome my longtime friend, Comedian Lamar "JR" Mitchell, to the show to chime in on this crazy thing that men and women tend to do called mixed signaling. We all know it happens, but for some reason we still perpetuate it. What is the motive for it? Why does it affect communications between men and women on a larger scale?
What does "privilege" look like to you? Are you born into it or do you obtain it? Is it transferable or static? Well, I'm digging into it throughout this series and asking what privilege is, how it's used and who has access to it.
