In today's episode we gain insight from our friend, Noah Whirley, on what it means to live set apart, as a young believer (in age or spiritual maturity), in today's world. The world tries to persuade us to believe that our adolescence is an excuse to live however we want to, but Noah encourages us that we have a choice to make to live set apart for the King of Kings or follow the world and our flesh. We also talk about our thoughts on "cancel culture," what it looks like to pursue Christ in the current world today, and how we can get to know God on a deeper level. (While this episode is intended for high school/college-aged kids, we encourage anyone of all ages to listen in on the wisdom Noah shares because he had some good stuff to say!) Please feel free to share and let us know what you think! @heidinmedlock @haleighmedlock @noahwhirley_

Hey y'all! In today's episode we talk about the difference between being still and being stagnant in the "in-between" seasons of life. Maybe you're in high school waiting to graduate and go to college. Maybe you can't decide what you want to do with your life next. Maybe you desire to make an impact, but don't even know where to begin. Whatever your season may look like right now, no matter how busy or calm it may seem, you are called to be still in the season God has placed you in. We discuss the Hebrew meaning behind the word still in the famous verse, "Be still and know that I am God..." (Psalms 46:10) and what being still and not stagnant actually looks like in our lives. Come hang with us and be encouraged no matter what season of life you are in. Scripture references in the podcast: Romans 8:6 "For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace." The Woman at the Well: John 4:13-14
