He mentions two men by name that aren't found in scripture, Jannes and Jambres. These two men, according to the Talmud and tradition, are the two magicians that stood against Moses before pharaoh. They were able to recreate some of the plagues but not all of them and their sins were exposed in the end. You can pretend to play church and deceive many people, but your sin will find you out!
